I have been with Rick since he started his practice in the early eighties. I was looking for a new dentist at the time and searched the yellow pages; no there was no internet searching then. I chose Rick because he was close to my work. Also, I thought that he must be familiar with the most current techniques, since he was fresh out of training. Well, I stayed at the same employment for 42 years, and Rick did not leave the area, and he must have kept up with all the current techniques, because I have received nothing but the best of care at his practice. In all those years I have never felt any notable pain during a visit. Now that I am retired and living in Rock Hill, I will not be searching for a practice closer to home. Full disclosure - I am a new patient at Park Crossing Dentistry, so this review comes after my first visit. From the Hygienist, to the Doctor, to the Administrative Assistant - I had a wonderful experience. I did not feel like they were trying to "treat-me-and-street-me". They took their time listening to my concerns, explained recommended solutions, gave me an action plan, and even interpreted my insurance benefits for me. On top of all that, they were gentle while performing x-rays, cleanings, and even while using that metal hook scraper thingy from hell. This dentist is trustworthy. I am lucky to have inherited good teeth - I've never had a cavity (knock on wood). After visiting different dentists for years who regularly recommended various dental repairs that I did not need (and I refused), a friend recommended Dr. Neubauer. I have been visiting Dr. Neubauer for a few years now and each time I visit, he does not recommend any treatments, and tells me everything looks good. I am confident he would recognize and fix an issue if there ever is one, and I am confident he will not fabricate an issue so he can bill for it. My hygienist, Annie, was probably one the nicest and efficient that I have come across. She was empathetic to my situation, gentle, yet firm enough to get the job done all the while being extremely thorough and informative. I wouldn't just come back to Park Crossing Dentistry, I would come back to Annie. The Dental Hygienist, Terra Carter, is the best I have ever experienced. She was friendly, professional, and showed a very caring attitude throughout the process. She also made me feel very comfortable by the way she followed Covid Cleanliness Protocol. Doctor Ramos was the doctor that saw me and he was also very professional and friendly and knowledgeable. I've been going to Dr. Bateman for over 20 years and have always received the best service! Heather was very thorough and professional with the cleaning of my teeth and mouth guard.
