We've been trying to get in contact with them for about a week and a half through calls, texts, and even by visiting their office in person, only to find out that no one is actually there. The contact information listed online didn't seem reliable, and we were given different numbers to try instead, which only added to the confusion. I do want to highlight that Adam was great, he was responsive and got back to us in a timely manner. However, he isn't able to assist with property-specific inquiries, so we were referred to Jesse multiple times. Despite being told on more than one occasion that Jesse would reach out, at one point even the same day, we never heard back and were left waiting days without any follow-up. At this point, I can't imagine the amount of loss occurring due to this kind of lack of communication. Since then, we've moved on and are now working with another property management company and are in the process of signing. Overall, this experience has been disappointing, especially when we were genuinely interested in moving forward. It made the process unnecessarily stressful and left a poor impression of the company as a whole.

Their office seems to be organized by specialties and functions that overlap rather than by rigid departments. They manage the process of preparing your property for the rental market, they handle the marketing and advertising on multiple listings, collect applications, screen applicants, onboard tenants, respond to their needs in the course of the tenancy, and offboard them. You are always made aware of what's going on and always have final approval. And they also provide you with an Income/Expense statement at year end. If you are a landlord looking to lessen your load, RNB will do the heavy lifting for you, as they have done for me, for the last 8 years.

Meadows Property Management is a family run business and to keep costs low Russell and Judy Meadows along with their son do most of the maintenance work themselves which can be both a blessing and a curse. For example, our fence needed repairs and new boards were installed within two weeks; but when it came to more serious issues such as air conditioner performance or pest control the matters were never fully resolved. We had two full year leases then went month to month; the renewal addendums were made in the margin of the original document, kind of hokey but that's how it goes with these folks. Paperwork (or lack thereof) did become a problem when we moved out. We were charged for some items that were not our issue but we got more of our deposit back than we expected so I guess it evened itself out. The Meadows are blunt and occasionally accusatory but all in all I think they mean well. If you are looking to rent through Meadows Property Management I would keep the Latin principal of caveat emtor in mind.
