Yelp helped us find this place during our day at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The museum only has a McDonald's inside for food choices and we weren't too thrilled about that option so we went to yelp to find something close and good. The reviews looked good so we took the very short walk to this place. The unfortunate part is if you didn't know it was there, or have yelp to convince you it was you might never encounter the Park Grill. It is inside a medical building, and we entered the lobby without seeing any sign of the place, luckily the lady at the desk was friendly and pointed us in the right direction. The place offered a large variety of sandwiches, paninis and burgers, particularly for such a small and hidden establishment. I also liked the large variety of side options that were included with the sandwich including a drink, chips, fries, tater tots, pasta salad and a few others I can't remember. I got a 6 cheese grilled cheese sandwich with chips. My husband and friend both got a grilled chicken panini. One got fries and the other tater tots. We all enjoyed our sandwich and sides and with prices about $6 - $7 this was a perfect lunch spot. If you find yourself in the museum district and are looking for a good, cheap and quick bite to eat, this is the place for you. read more

I stopped by Park Grill for lunch with a friend on a weekday. Located in the Museum District, Park Grill is a casual spot found inside of the hospital. I didn't know this at first which made finding it a bit of an adventure. I found metered street parking close by. The menu mostly consists of sandwiches but they have more than that. They also offer a nice selection of burgers and rotating items. On the day I went, they had Asian food. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. I've been on an avocado craze lately so I couldn't pass up on one of their specialty sandwiches that included avocado. Each sandwich is served with your choice of side and I went with fries. Drinks are sold separately. The sandwich was solid and while the fries were good, the portion size was small. Overall, Park Grill is a decent spot to get a quick meal. Especially inside of a hospital. But I wouldn't go out of my way to check it out. read more

What a nice spot for a quick and easy casual lunch. It's nothing incredible but there are plenty of sandwich and salad options on the menu. My chicken salad was good and the salad was fresh and tasty as well. If you want a cheap lunch and you're in a hurry, this place is your spot. read more

We were spending the day at the HMNS and had tried to go eat at the McDonald's there but the line was outrageous...so I pulled out my phone and Yelp quickly told me that the Park Grill was nearby. I thought the prices were really great. I think 6 of us ate for under $50. When you buy a sandwich you can choose from a ton of different options to go with it (a drink, fries, chips, etc). Nice little dining location. It's across from Park Plaza hospital, so it does have a few hints of a hospital cafeteria. They have daily specials cafeteria style, when we were there it was lasagna. However it's primarily a bistro type place and catering business. They have more options that I ever expected from a place that its main business is hospital workers and visitors. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. Breakfast options include muffins, bagels, fruit danishes, taquitos, croissant sandwiches, kolaches and quiche. They are all $3 or less. They daily specials can include french toast and omelettes. Lunch options include regular sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads, hamburgers, and smoothies. The regular sandwiches and paninis are nicely priced at $5.50 - $5.95(sandwiches) and $6.50 - $7.25(paninis), they come with chips or a side and a pickle. I do not recommend that you sub their cup of fruit for the chips. I only had melons and grapes, everything was on the mushy side. The wraps and salads are in the same price range as the paninis. I didn't see anything priced above $7.25. We got the smoky Chicken Sante-Fe Panini, $7.25, and Chicken Salad Sandwich, $5.75. They were both good and on the same level as Panera Bread for me. The croissant was nice, soft and buttery. There wasn't much of a line and once we ordered our food came out very quickly. The place has a little quirky feel to it with it's boasting on several holdings of World Records listed on their front board. I thought the most interesting one was most deliveries during a hurricane. Kind of hidden away you can find this place driving down Caroline towards Houston Museum of Natural Science, it's just past Bodega's Taco Shop. The only way you know where its located is the two standing signs outside the building. While they cater mostly to hospital peoples, I think this is a great option if your out and about in Hermann Park or the Museum District. It's just across the street from the Garden Center and I think widely undiscovered by the park, museums and zoo patrons. This is a place to pick up from and take it to the park for a nice picnic. read more

Small little sandwich shop inside the medical building lobby. Lots of drink selections and fountain drinks. They have a wide variety of burgers and deli sandwiches. The entire place can seat about 20 people, and it seems most customers work in or near the medical building. read more

Generic. Sandwich was 85 percent bread. Fries were the blandest I've had in Texas. I placed an order online for an entree salad. I went to pick up the salad and was informed by the cashier they longer carry that salad. Mind you they had my contact info for 30 minutes and no one thinked to call to let me know this. Instead I walked down from my office on limited time to be told it is no longer available. I requested to be refunded and was told it could take 2 days. I'm still hungry and have to wait two days for a refund when it took 2.5 seconds to take my money. Little cafe near the Natural Science Museum that was recommended as a lunch stop by one of the docents. It's in the bottom of a hospital building so seems to cater primarily to office workers and hospital visitors. They were aware of gluten and had quite a few gluten-free options and most of there soups are gluten free so you get some options you might not otherwise expect. This small restaurant is very conveniently situated in a building in front of the Museum of Natural Sciences. It's a great place to eat, with a variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, soups and salads. All the food we try was delicious. All the employees were very courteous with us and enjoyed serving our lunch, even though we were a large group. Certainly a place to try. read more

Not worth the time unless you're extremely hungry or thirsty. Their menu lists items that are not available. Ask about the steak breakfast burrito and they'll ask you if you want bacon or sausage. I love going to this place; it's super convenient since I work nearby (Museum discount of 5%!). And yes, just like everyone else has to say: AMAZING BREAKFAST TACOS.
