This is a great stop to anywhere near the beechnut/610 area! We stopped for a quick breakfast before some events. Great price, nice people, good seating, very clean, and AWESOME coffee (that's a nurse's review). This is a local place that deserves the business. Have a breakfast sit down or on the go. (Nurses love tacos- these were perfect!)

My wife and I met our son and grandbabies for lunch. All our meals were topnotch. The bacon cheeseburger was very good, the onion rings were even better. Our son got the smothered chicken fried chicken with mashed taters and green beans, 5 stars. My wife got the fried chicken strips and fried onion rings. Everybody tried everything and loved all of it....

When I walked in the staff was friendly. It's a small time diner feel. You order before you take a seat. The food was very ok. I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was the best of the things we ordered. The fries however, were pretty tasty.

Chips and Salsa, Chicken Fried Ribeye, Smothered Ribeye and Chicken Fried Chicken! Sorry, we dove in and I didn't take a BEFORE photo.

AWESOME!!! Fantastic friendly , knowledgeable staff & a great atmosphere! Food is excellent and plenty of it! Prices are really reasonable and the menu is HUGE! Our first time, we came for lunch, great crowd. We'll be back again and again to try more of all the food on this menu & just to hang out! Magnificent place!!!

Cute place on Beechnut for dinner with a large group of friends. My husband loved his mushroom burger and fries. The chicken tortilla soup was okay. It was served with a hot, warm roll which was good. The restaurant was fairly empty which was great for our party of 16. Easy to switch seats to catch up with friends. Parking was easy at the restaurant as it was not that busy. Note: They close at 8 PM on Saturdays. Would come here early if you want to chat with your friends. (Or you'll be talking in the parking lot after they close.)

I've had the pleasure of trying everything on the menu, I can highly recommend literally everything. The #1 Made from scratch kitchen in Houston. The biggest burgers, the most phenomenal buns, best of the best, everything satisfies the beast!!!

the portion of the fried chicken sandwich is humongous. the quality of the biscuit egg and chicken were alright. was a bit bland.

Continues to be one of my go to places for breakfast/brunch! The chicken biscuit is heavenly, so indulgent. I take half home for later! The staff are so nice as well. Fun place to bring family/friends and there's a patio for when the weather is nice!

We tried Tapester's Grill today and had a terrific experience. Service was great- staff was very friendly- and our meal was excellent. We ordered the bananas foster pancakes with eggs and bacon, and the breakfast enchilada special. Was plenty of food for 3 ppl. We will certainly be back.

I normally post good reviews but unfortunately this one is not so great. I got the chicken strips which were pretty good but look at the fries! They weren't over cooked they were recooked! Or, they were from a way earlier lunchtime. I love the drive through convenience & the location. Really hope they do better!

This biscuit, egg, pan sausage and hash brown breakfast is awesome. Every bite is highly enjoyable. The service has an old country feel to it. The ambiance was of a small Texas town on a Saturday morning. Nice throwback feel and simple arrangements.

Food was excellent. Comfort food and familiar dishes on the menu. The vegetables are homemade and tastes like mom used to make.

Worst dining experience of my life! Food took over fifty (50!) minutes to arrive, and the staff was unbelievably rude. I will never return.

First, we got there pretty early for our reservation. We sat almost immediately upon check in. Our waiter was in training but did a really good job. Ordered a whiskey sour. Was seated at the bar so I got to watch it be made. The bartender- man that guy never stopped. He was organized and just did his thing. So many pretty drinks were made while I was there watching. The pink one, whatever it was, was really pretty! On to the food. We got two apps, two meals, and two desserts. Husband ordered the Brussels, Steak Frites, and the Devil's Affogato. I got the Bacon covered Dates, the Pizza, and the Sticky Toffee Cake. The Brussels were good - husband liked them more than me. They were good. Had cashews in them. Little spicy. The bacon covered dates. Think this was my favorite bite. Sweet, salty, creamy. Came we three & I had two. The pizza was sweet and salty as well. The crust was so good and fresh. The arugula set it off so well. Def a buy again! The Steak Frites was so good. The chimichurri sauce was perfect. Just the right mount of citrus. Steak was tender and the fries seasoned well. The desserts - don't skip them! The Devils Affogato we had the first time we ate at Sixty Vines. Had to have it again. If you like coffee, chocolate and vanilla ice cream just get it. Restaurant vibe is relaxed and clean. There were several large parties and what looked like a lot of date night guests. Just try it. No regrets!!

I experienced this side of the business during the early phase of the Covid pandemic back in 2020. At the time, during lockdown, going to a wine bar or wine shop just wasn't top of mind. However, I had researched a Cabernet Franc (red wine) called Nicolas Reau Enlèvement Demandé Anjou [Vintage year: 2017]. Reau is kind of a rebel working in the Loire Valley of France who is interested in producing organic, biodynamic wines that are essentially closer to nature and processed differently--more artisanal, so to speak. I read about this wine and wanted to find a bottle locally, which wasn't an easy task as I recall. This is where Vinology comes in. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but had to have a bottle of this excellent wine. Like many people, I preferred to stay indoors during the early part of the pandemic and was kind of nervous about going out. When I called Vinology, I expressed my dilemma, and the guy on the other end of the phone came up with a great solution. He offered to deliver the bottle of wine I purchased to my address. I actually met him at the edge of the garage entrance to where I live. This was great, exceptional above and beyond service. I will always treasure and remember Vinology and plan to support the business more in the future. Hats off to the folks who own and run this wine establishment.

We walked in and you think my we were burden than a willing paying customer. We said we would love to buy some wine to take home but would also love to enjoy some wine while we were there along with a cheese and meat tray which is on their menu in the business and on the website. The employee said "Ah well I can sell you some wine but we don't have any cheese that is cut up already so no we can serve you a a cheese and meat tray. We said oh you don't have cheese and meat that's ok thanks and he said no it's just not cut up and I'm not cutting it up. He said there is a food menu next door you can order from and then bring it in here and enjoy your wine then. We looked over it was people selling food from the back of a van. I don't know what happened but I would not recommend this place the staff is unfriendly, not welcoming, and make you feel like you don't belong there (you are putting them out) I never complain about places but honestly I was so upset about today's experience I couldn't help myself but alarm the owner (by making this comment) because if you knew making a cheese and meat tray was an inconvenience or an annoyance to your employees then maybe you should take it off the menu. Not once has that ever happened. We have been there one time when you were out of most of the cheese and some meat and you still was able to make some type of plate to snack on. Thank goodness for the under the volcano across the street they are amazing, delicious, welcoming, and happy to serve you!! Please visit under the volcano and skip this place. It's not worth it and you feel unappreciated as soon as you walk in.

When you open the black door, the hallway is enveloped in red lights as you go up the stairs to check in. It definitely gives that hidden vibe. There were two areas and the room farthest away was more quiet and brighter. It's very intimate and comfortable. I really liked how the music wasn't too loud so you can still hear your conversation and our waiter gave great suggestions. He was very friendly and cracked some jokes with us. We had two pizzas and 4 drinks. We really prefer the corn star over the summer squash. The corn star was slightly sweet from the corn bits and has a sharp taste of the shishito bits with a mellow connection with the cheese. The summer squash was not as impressive. We still ate both pizzas without a problem. Note that these are small pizzas and we didn't have any left overs to take with us. As for drinks, we had the Mattress Actress (vodlka), Harvey's Banger (gin/orange liqueur), Franny (frangelico), and Mini Mart (non-alcoholic). All four drinks are really good so it'll depend on your preferred choice of liquor. The strongest flavor was Mattress Actress with a shot of champagne. Harvey's banger and Mini Mart has a nice balance, not too strong, not too light. Franny did leave an impression. Overall, all of these four drinks were great and would try again. This is a great place for date nights, double dates, small group of close friends. The bar's menu is more focused on cocktails and snacks / small dishes.
