had my Dobermans ears cropped and they came out way shorter than we asked and have a weird part at The ends that never healed properly due to the way they were cropped, very disappointing. I no longer take my dog here due to the insane amount of anti anxiety medicane they loaded Him up on, ofter over looking the main issues. i did not take my second Doberman here (ears 10x better at a specialty vet) and highly recommend a vet who handles these breeds daily. read more

Within 2 hours they called us to come back , that she had passed. Apparently she was given medication twice. I would NOT recommend this place for your beloved pet. I've taken my dogs to this clinic nearly 4 years. When my GSD had pancreatitis kwon gave her many meds to take. She started seizing that night and continued to have this disorder until 8/17/25 when I had to put her down at home. I literally had to argue with this doctor about bringing her in every month when one of the triggers was car rides. Then I had my 12 year old blue heeler put down and when I took her in, it was so cold and callus. She didn't look like she died with no pain. Shameful. Today 8/23/25 took my other GSD in for her annual rabies and my puppy for her last puppy shots and was told that she would have to start all over because she is two weeks past the time she should have had them. Wait, what? This took the cake. I researched and the process is if you have missed the last vaccine by 3 months. You just lost clients. Apparently y'all don't care. The vet tech assisting should probably get a job at walmart or something because she wasn't very professional and rude to boot. While the prices are cheaper, you get what you pay for. Came in because I heard of several good things about Dr. Kwon. Was very happy with the exam and how well the techs, Rachael and Lesley, took care of Rylee May and I when we came in. We got greeted with a happy cheerful hello from Lesley and Rachael did amazing in our room. Gathered all the information for Dr. Kwon and then assisted in any questions that I had. Where do I begin with this clinic? THE STAFF HERE ARE SO FRIENDLY AND AWESOME!! I came in here for the first time because the shelter I adopted my puppy from had a "first free exam" coupon and I had to come try it.. I will never go to another vet for my puppy!! I was referred here for my puppy's spay for the rescue group I got her from. My puppy came back soaked in pee and had poop dried in her tail and bum. I called the vet the day after surgery because my puppy couldn't walk stand or eat and kept peeing herself which was not normal behavior for her on the medications they prescribed her and was informed by the doctor that they gave her "extra doses of sedatives because she was an extremely active and playful pup" that they normally don't prescribe. She is not an overly active puppy she is actually described as calm by people when they meet her and now my baby can't walk until this extra dose wears off :( Update: her stitches tore through her skin and had to be completely removed due to the irritation and infection they caused read more

Everyone seemed nice here but I came for the low cost vaccine clinic advertised on the website. The price listed on the website did not state that an annual exam is required. They did say over the phone there is a $48 fee, but that is the stated cost of the shots on the website so I didn't expect it to be a separate fee. He was able to schedule me within 2 days and right when I arrived all the staff were sweet and caring. Dr. Kwon and all the vet tech at Park Mall Animal clinic are the best. After several weeks of UTI treatment for our beloved 15.5-year-old Austrian Shepard Chennel. Chennel was having more issues possibly either kidney or bladder cancer. July 27, 2021, we had to put her down so she can be free from her pain. The staff was so accommodating with the schedule so all 4 of us can be there byher side. Dr. Kwon came in and express how sorry he was and explain the procedure to us. Chennel went very pain-free and peacefully. Dr. Kwon stays with us till the end. Just a huge thank you to him and his staff. read more

As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with THE WORST attitude I have ever experienced in customer service. The receptionist's name was Nicole and there are a handful of bad reviews about her all over the internet. I'm not sure why Dr. Kwon continues to employ her. Everything from her eye rolling, to her ratchet behavior, to her dirty, rolled out of bed and came straight to work appearance was awful. What's worse is that she not only behaved horribly, the manager stood by and did nothing. There was no way I was going to entrust them with my dog. I went to Maize's Mission in Carrollton instead. Excellent experience for me and my family!!!! Dr. Kwon, I'm sure you have a stellar reputation but if you continue to employ Nicole, your online reputation will be affected. She cares nothing about your business and when I told her that I was going to leave a bad review, she immaturely shrugged her shoulders. I was very impressed with PMAC and Dr. Kwon the first time I took my cat Denver in for his vaccinations. A couple months later my other cat, Nala, got a severely injured leg from an accident. When I took Nala to see Dr. Kwon we thought she may lose the leg. With Dr. Kwons expertise, Nala was able to be healed completely and back to normal within weeks. Highly recommend! read more

My 10 year old dog has never ever had a reaction to any medication ever! Dog had a sever reaction to her rabies shot and I had to pay for a shot to stop the reaction. I finally did get reimbursed but it was in vet credit.... Brought her back this year and they wanted to give her a preemptive shot to keep her from having a reaction, which I appreciate but when I asked about not having to pay yet again for a reaction to the product they use they told me to find a new vet. The receptionist is really nice and welcoming- however there is much better and more professional vets out there. I brought my puppy in for her first visit- the vet has his assistant take care of his clients. I brought in my own microchip provided by my breeder and was told there would be a $0 fee to insert. This was all communicated with the assistant whom communicated it to the vet- which I could hear as his office was behind my room. The vet came in and kept talking about his international microchips and how great they are with out of country travel. Pretty sure I looked at him like a deer in headlights as I was oblivious to what he was rambling about. He then charged me to install this microchip thinking it was his!! He had no idea what he put in my dog!! When the assistant and I both explained to him AGAIN- he said, "ooooh this is your own? I don't know if it will be international then" he brought the cost down despite what I was told that the insert would be free, his excuse to was there is a fee to register. I went ahead and paid the fees. Had I known this- I would have had her chipped at the animal shelter for the same price and more professional service. Funny thing is when he sent me the registration link, the website even says their registration is free! The worst part of this whole story despite the OBLIVIOUS vet, my 11 week puppy had developed kennel cough!! The only place we've been outside of home is his office!! They ask for positive reviews for $5 off your next service or nail trim. Please evaluate before you post and be honest with new puppy owners looking for a vet- I walked out feeling fooled! I was extremely impressed by my experience, and the treatment our family dog received with Dr. Kwon and his staff. We had some problems with her ailing teeth that required surgery. Poor service, and I also brought him in to get a sack of fluid checked out and they basically did nothing and told me "if you bring your dog to a vet there's NO GUARANTEE that they'd be able go to diagnose anything. Dr Kwon took a very good care of my dog, Brownie after she was taken to him for fluids filling her lung due to heart failure. It was an emergency situation and Dr. Kwon literally saved her life. Brownie is on 5 medications now for her heart and lung which she needs to take for rest of her life. I write this review with a very heavy heart. It was our first visit to this doctor's office for our fur baby's ear infection. Never knew this visit was going to change the rest of all our lives. The doctor administered an ear ointment in both his ears and our little one went completely deaf after. Had the doctor discussed the side effects of the ointment we would have made an informed decision. The vet also chose to treat both his ears with the ointment at the same time though we went in with complaints for only one. The vet's negligence has completely changed my smart, intelligent, sharp, vigilant baby's life forever. My baby now sleeps more; oblivious to any noise, we have to tap and sometimes shake him up to wake him. We are his ears and sense of sound now..tears my heart to see him so helpless and vulnerable. Not a day has gone by when I haven't been emotional seeing his plight, with prayers on my lips and a wish in my heart that one day, perhaps one day he will hear me call him, that one day he will bring his toys hearing their names as usual..hope against hope.
