I am surprised by all the complaints about the staff. I've been using Park Slope Copy Center for mailing, shipping, copying and needs for a couple of years, and even before I knew them all, I got help quickly. Yes, absolutely, once or twice I have stood at the counter waiting for one of the two people who does copies to notice I was there, but, you know, no big deal. And I absolutely love the shipping guy: knows everything, helps you figure out what's cheapest, tapes up your stuff if he thinks it's not packed right. Does he have a long friendly chat with me? Went in today after a 24hr call at the hospital, got helped by white dude with short dark hair, told me my job would be done in 2 hrs, so I waited....After two hrs he called me that he had lost my file and needed to come back with my files....He told me it would be ready in 25minutes and 1.5hrs later it wasn't ready, needless to say he got the details wrong and the price we had agreed on didn't apply any more, so I had to fight for the price we had already agreed on...FIVE HOURS LATER I LEFT WITH MY JOB DONE, NOT TO THE DETAILS I HAD ASKED FOR....EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

It's not "if " a FedEx box goes missing...it's when! Recently I sent a box out thru Park Slope Copy for FedEx pick up. Box was never scanned and vanished into the vast wasteland of packages never to be seen again. I was left in the middle of a mess that amounted to hundreds of dollars of unreturned merchandise that I was now responsible for. Park Slope Copy owner Robert Kalb acted swiftly and diligently to try and find my box. When that proved fruitless, he re-imbursed me for the contents of missing pak and demanded that FedEx improve its service. He really went the extra mile for me and did the right thing...I was impressed by his integrity and customer service...big thumbs up!!! read more

So I came here on a recommendation of a friend and they did not disappoint. I read some reviews that the staff was rude but I did not run into that at all. The guy helping me out was willing to reprint my piece multiple times and tweak it on the computer. Let's say I felt horrible about my waste of paper. Overall great experience. My prints were off, color wise a bit, but nothing too horrible so that's why I deducted one star. I will however be coming back here again. I've used them one time and they were absolutely fantastic! Open on a Saturday? Yes. Answer emails in less than an hour? Yes. Less expensive than other printshops? Yes. I've been using Park Slope Copy for various printing projects over the last two decades, most recently the annual baseball cards I make up for the youth baseball team I coach. Invariably I give them an impossible deadline (because I can't finalize the cards until the regular season ends, but have to get them before the first playoff game in case we're eliminated and I don't see the kids again till next year) and demand to see a proof because I'm picky that way, and invariably they turn the job around on time for a reasonable price, even collating and rubber-banding the card sets without my asking. They're professionals who know their business and take pride in doing good work, and have an excellent online file submission to boot -- which is hugely valuable now that I can no longer afford to live within walking distance of 7th Avenue. read more

The location is uber-convenient and the printing/ internet stations are simply awesome for someone who does not own a home printer, like me. Park Slope Copy Center has the best hours for shipping needs. I send a lot of packages to friends but have long work hours during the week and on Saturday. I'm often not able to get to a shipping center before they close and I don't know any other Brooklyn place besides Park Slope Copy Center open on Sundays. I am a regular here and can tell you that these ratings are way, way too low. If you want to know specific, accurate questions about shipping, ask the guy who's always at the shipping counter. They'll always refer you to him anyway, but if you're calling for something, make sure it's the guy who is ALWAYS at the shipping part of this business. Other workers are not experts, and will misguide you. He can get crabby, but just be cool and nice and know that he's the expert--and you aren't, and you're good. The lines never take that long. I sometimes am here 2, 3, 4 times a week and it always moves along speedily. Even in heavy shipping seasons. I was there on December 21st or 22nd or something, and the line was to the door, and I was out of there in 20 minutes. Not a big deal. Printing prices are good especially for B&W copies. Never more than a few bucks for huge manuscripts. Do yourself a favor and always ask for the cheapest method of shipping, or know more about shipping prices before you complain that the *store* is expensive. Shipping is expensive. UPS is expensive when it's heavy. USPS is expensive when it's little but in a box. I used to get pissed about shipping prices until I learned the going rate, and that this *store* isn't ripping me off; the shipping industry is. Super reliable overnight shipping, regular shipping, UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc. I've used them all here for all types of services. Everything has always arrived exactly on time and when expected, and nothing has ever been lost. Let's hope this always remains so. And, what? Don't complain about store cats! They're harmless and best friends. Let them cuddle. read more

Exceptional service and professionalism! My fiancée and I needed invitations and addressed envelopes printed for our wedding. The employees went above and beyond in making sure we loved the invitations and envelopes we were printing. Staff was surly. They charge a $1 to drop off a prepaid very small package. I get they are providing a service, but honestly there are plenty of free places to drop along the street, including multiple UPS stores and the post office.
