I also think it's weird that it's proclaimed to be "the most instagramable restaurant in Houston" yet they don't serve alcoholic beverages and they aren't a BYOB establishment either. That stuff being said , the food was very good and the prices are reasonable and it is a pretty restaurant! The food here is severely overpriced and ironically, the best tasting things was not the Mediterranean food (pasta and hamburgers are on the menu), but 5-6 pieces of wings for $15?? Also there is no free water as they only provide water bottles at $2 a bottle. Service was lacking, when we came in they brought us to the crappy hookah area where there were holes in the couch and the couches looked grimey. The restaurant was pretty empty when we came in so there were actual tables available but they said they were all reserved. 18% gratuity is automatically added no matter how big your party is. I got the kofta kebab, and it was the worst tasting Mediterranean dish I've ever had. The wings were overpriced and average. They charge for water, and the soda is $3 for a can and wasn't even cold. They charge 18% gratuity on everything. The name of the restaurant on the credit card statement is Rozana, which has bad reviews on here. The rice was made with a lot of Powdered cinnamon instead Of a whole stick so it was basically cinnamon rice. The pitas are store bought and poor excuse of a pita. The chicken was okay until I not I bit into a piece that was raw. We asked for water and we got bottles of water. We had to ask for a cup with ice. We requested to be moved because we were I aware that hookah was being smoked everywhere. The small room we were in was full of smoke and our waitress could not accommodate our move to a different table. We were charged an 18% gratuity for a party of 2 which i thought was I heard of. The staff was nice but the service was a little awkward. We had about 4 different waiter that bought each item/order individually. At the end of our meal, we had to read the bill off the monitor because they are paperless or you could receive a text message to pay. Not everyone wants to pay by phone. I was probably the 5th person to order my food and everyone got their food before me and I didn't get my food until after everyone else ate and we were about to leave. I was offered a discount of I think 20% but it was pointless seeing as though the 18% gratuity was still applied (which I personally don't think was deserved but apparently it's restaurant policy). The servers were disorganized and seemed like they were all confused and we had to ask multiple times for stuff that we ordered before they were brought to our table. My lamb chops had no flavor and the rice tasted like perfume or something had been sprayed over it, they also forgot the sauce that was supposed to come with them.
