Went here for brunch. Shrimp and grits dish was to die for! Perfect blend of shrimp, bacon, kielbasa, and cheesy grits. The sauce used was fantastic. I spoke with the chef, Al, about it, and it's a perfect blend of oil, garlic, marinara, and some other ingredients. I used some toast to soak up the remaining, it was that delicious. Portions were generous, pancakes and French toast were delicious and on point. Very friendly staff, you can tell everything is cooked with quality ingredients and Al knows what he's doing in the kitchen. I highly recommend it! Family we were visiting come here often and haven't found a fish they didn't like. She crab soup, crab crusted haddock were some of their favs. We will be returning on future visits to the area for certain. Parkway Bistro is great. We have tried several different menu items and have loved every one of them with the exception of the chicken marsala. The marsala sauce is more like a brown gravy. My son makes a killer marsala that is far superior to theirs. Went there based on the recommendation of a friend. Thank goodness it wasn't your typical Italian American fare! Everyone in our party loved their meal. High quality ingredients, generous portions, perfectly prepared. Still can't believe the quantity of baby clams in my linguine and clam dish. Had the most flavorful and light sauce. Chicken Marsala was so good my friend wanted to lick her plate. Hubby and friend spoke highly of the pasta with sausage and peppers. One last thing; The fresh bread and garlic with herb butter is memorable as well. This restaurant has recently added a new dining room. The room that you normally enter was empty when we arrived, and we thought "What's up with this"? Then we saw the new room to our left, elegant and upscale compared to the original room. Understaffed in the kitchen and only 2 servers but they functioned quite well. Huge pours for the wine, and the usual large servings where you always have leftovers. Piccata was excellent but my alfredo dish didn't have any of the additions (pine nuts, peas or bacon) that you normally see added to the sauce. Not to worry because I was experimenting and didn't go with my normal stuffed grouper. Price point on the lower side considering what you get. read more

My wife and I have visited Parkway Bistro before Covid-19 and we had a great meal at reasonable prices. Recently we were surprised to see no safe guards in place for Covid. Not one employee had a mask on, people were gathering around the entrance door to order and pick up. I wish them well, I doubt Parkway Bistro's employee's are immune to Covid-19. read more

A friend recommended this place. Had the eggplant parm, came with a salad & either the biggest breadstick ever or small loaf of bread. Freshly baked & good whichever it was :) All salad dressings made in-house. Nice variety on the menu from classic Italian dishes, sandwiches, seafood. No pizza, small but decent wine selection. We just had breakfast at Parkway Bistro. We have had breakfast at many restaurants in North Myrtle Beach and this is by far the best breakfast in town. Coffee and fruit cup comes with all orders. The owner is doing the cooking and walks the restaurant to ensure you are happy. The waitstaff is very attentive and friendly The food is amazing. Very fresh. Large portions of everything. As a "northerner" it's been difficult to find tasty food that is Boston or NY style. Guess what: we found it! Cozy, inviting and delicious! My boyfriend and I were not expecting to enjoy this as much as we did, this adorable hole in the wall Italian food place was amazing! It was very obvious that it was mostly locals in there because the waitress knew every table that she had by name except for us. The food and service were both amazing! We got the old world eggplant, fettuccini Alfredo, and to top it off cannolis. All of the food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were so large that we had food for three extra meals each. Our waitress was just as amazing as the meal making us feel so welcome, and she also topped off our Togo boxes with extra sauce! This was definitely off the path hard to find but. This was the best meal ever ! Found it by accident I had the Shrimp fettuccini My husband had spaghetti and meatball. The bill was under 40 we had two salads I had coke he had 2 beers! The fettuccine was smooth creamy and just the prefect Parmesan, the shrimp was cooked to perception. He got two meatballs which wEre huge and the sauce tasted like your Italian grandmother cooked it! If your in North MYRTLE beach, surf side , little river or anywhere w here else near by. First, I was impressed by the tranquil setting with real table cloths, napkins, & nice ambient lighting. Now for the food! Wow, it was superb! I was impressed with the fresh ingredients, large portions, & for a great price that is hard to beat in the area! Everything here is made from scratch other than the desserts we were told. Possibly the best sauce I have eaten in quite awhile. Great wait staff. We even got a free dessert. Only bad thing about the experience was the size of my stomach. I can't wait to come back. We got stuffed peppers for an appetizer and my wife got chicken Parmesan. We just moved to the area and heard great things about this place. A small, intimate place with a comfortble feel. We were not disappointed. The service ( by Sean) was terrific. We were checked on at reasonable intervals and he was very pleasant. The food was very good although the ribeye could be a little less fatty, but was tasty all the same. They have a diverse menu which should please everyone's palat's. I didn't read the negative reviews but some are hard to please no matter what and even the best places have their faults now and then. But not on this visit. If you're visiting MB or NMB i would recommend The Parkway Bistro to anyone. We will be going back on a regular basis. Thanks guys! read more

So far, only had the Old World Eggplant. It's different from the usual eggplant parmigiana because they use provolone instead. Another eggplant dish does use ricotta and is also pretty good. Sorry to report, however, sauce is acidic and the calamari is rather substandard. When a neighborhood used frozen calamari that's not a problem, but the squid just ain't good. Had to toss it upon first bite. I still like the place, and looking forward to trying other things on the menu. I'll update when I do. read more

A fantastic find while up on the North end. Fantastic food, great prices, extremely attentive service. You can see the chef preparing the meal behind the glass if you want. Located in a strip center but very cozy and attractive decor. Mozzarella marinara, grilled grouper, shrimp & beef pasta.....all delicious. Lunch specials menu looked great and very reasonable. Stopped in this week while house hunting. I had a 9.95 sausage and peppers over pasta dinner special. Delicious and bargain of the week. Wife had a 15.00 steak. Very tough and she said no taste. I had to give her some of my sauce for her to eat it. Definitely a place for locals. Since we bought a house..will be back for another try.
