Everything thing was amazing and was above our expectations honestly. The service was great, the food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. We will definitely visit again when in town.

First timer here. It's on the second floor which provides a great view if you sit outside on the deck. It's facing west and you might a bit of sun depending what time in the afternoon. Inside is spacious and cool, but noisy (echo) I ordered the special, mahi-mahi with saffron rice and asparagus. It was well prepared and delicious Servers, including hostess, are very friendly

Accommodating, casual ambience . Open area with tables. Parking scene is not ideal. Pathway is not paved . Overall it's good for the location . Nothing like this around in Flyod VA

Stopped by this past Saturday after a round of golf at Great Oaks with some friends Great open floor atmosphere Clean restaurant but bathrooms needed some help Menu is a little different and needs to be updated on Ye We started out with a cold beer and some fries which hit the spot Followed up with one of the best entrees ever in my life It was the Mediterranean pasta dish with grilled salmon added on top I will be back!

My husband and I love the parkway grille in Floyd. They have a unique menu, all the food we have gotten has been great! The bartender makes a great margarita and is super friendly! The deserts are amazzzing.

Update 3 - since my last posting this place has gone downhill. My boyfriend ordered a "special" off the drink menu (the drink was awful) the waitress came back to ask how he liked it and he said he didn't and she said yeah it's pretty weird and walked away. After that I sat with an empty glass for over 20 minutes before she came back to see if we needed anything. She finally brought the food out and my boyfriend ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap (shown in the picture) as you can tell there is only one small strip of chicken on the wrap. Should just rename it to the lettuce wrap at this point. Every single table was getting fed up with the lack of service. I understand completely times are tough and it's hard to find workers but when the ones you have are congregating behind the register and hardly any tables are being helped I think the problem needs to be fixed. At the end of the visit we had to walk up front to pay our bill because our "waitress" never brought our bill to us.

Very good food. Waiter was awesome but it did take quite a long time to receive our food. Other than that I would have given 5 stars.

It was a bit busy so we expected a slight delay on drinks/food, but our server kept checking on us every few minutes and kept our drinks full. The atmosphere/design is very unique and offers great talking points for the table. You can look around and always find something new you haven't seen before. For food, I got the French dip, my husband got the fried catfish, and mom got the smash burger. Food was EXCELLENT. The au jus from the French dip was not overly salty as I've had in the past, and it was the perfect amount for the sandwich. Not like other places that will either give you a big tub of au jus or ever a small saucer cup. After lunch, we walked around as they have a shopping area inside with soaps, handmade pottery/kitchenware, and local vendor products such as hatch chile cream cheese and pickled vegetables. Price was very favorable too and didn't seem to be overly priced where the business/vendor up charges significantly to make a huge profit. Definitely worth stopping by even if you only have time for Togo coffee, a snack, of just to shop around!

The outside is an unassuming brick building, kinda in the middle of nowhere. The inside is quaint, like a small Cracker Barrel with nostalgic knick-knacks around the walls. Server was absolutely amazing and the people are very friendly. But, the star of the show is the food that the back of the house prepares. Pizza was great, wood fired and perfectly crispy. Airline chicken caprese was a special and had roasted chicken, parmesan pepper grits, mozzarella with sun-dried tomatoes and sweet potato and kale stir fry. Crispy skin on the chicken, moist on the inside. Grits were peppery and creamy. Cheese was fresh and cold with the tangy tomatoes and then add the sweetness of the sweet potato....hits all the parts of a palate. The kitchen is locked in, firing on all cylinders and doing it right! Creative, fresh and perfectly executed. Please do yourself a favor and try this place. We will continue to return!

This week was different- I ordered the special for the night, a tasty fish dish. I am on a keto diet. The fish came topped with slaw. I was supposed to order " a carb" so I asked for more green beans. They said I already had a vegetable ( slaw). And that I couldn't have green beans. I love their green beans. But that was that - the waiter remained firm. So my plate came looking a little bare ( white fish fillet with slaw on top). I had not had that happen before. It annoyed me!

We all had different dishes and were pleased . The ambiance is bright and classic upscale. Our service was good and they made an adjustment of spice level on my lobster dish. I would suggest that they pay closer attention to clearing the table once the meals are finished. This is expected in an upscale restaurant . We had the pork chop, shrimp and grits, a burger, chicken sandwich and vegan salad. We enjoyed the appetizers of corn fritters and oysters . Our server was attentive. Located inside the Bolling Wilson hotel on the ground floor, in the front left corner of the building as you walk in from the street front. An updated traditional small interior, with lots of seating outside both on the porch and side patio. We were greeted walking in and opted to sit on the front porch since it was a nice afternoon the day of our visit. Service is professional, kind and attentive. Our server was prompt with our drink orders, appetizer and entrees, and checked on us enough without being overly intrusive. We enjoyed a leisurely meal in a beautiful setting. Starting with the Griddled Focaccia eith balsamic reduction drizzle. A great starter, simple, well prepared and delicious. I opted for the Mustard grilled Pork Chop with a Devils backbone Lager. The chop was nicely prepared but a little overcooked (dry) not bad but still overcooked. Good flavor and a nice presentation, however it was dry which made it tough to cut. The flavor and the sauce made it palatable though, just wish it had been tender and not dry. 4 Stars - All in all, still a decent meal with great service in a nice comfortable locale. 01236
