I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Roger's and his assistant Wendy. Dr Roger's was very sympathetic to my pain tolerance and made sure I was fully numbed before he started working on my cavity. I also saw the Hygienist Lisa. She was very sympathetic as well and took her time to work on my cleaning and explained things thoroughly. The entire staff is pleasant. A couple years ago, I began losing teeth due to an illness and needed a partial denture. I went to modern dentistry. The partial was fabricated at a significant cost and was represented as a type that could be modified to add additional teeth if needed in the future. Unfortunately, from the outset, the fit and quality were poor and caused ongoing discomfort. I returned multiple times seeking adjustments, they made me to deal with four or five dentists but despite these efforts, the issue was not resolved. Eventually, the owner advised that she could not offer any further assistance. Hoping the situation might improve over time, I continued using the partial; however, due to its improper fit, it ultimately caused damage to two of my adjacent teeth. When I later returned to the office, there was new ownership. The current dentist informed me that the existing partial could not be modified as originally represented, and that the damaged teeth would need to be extracted and replaced with a completely new partial. Given this experience, I have serious concerns about proceeding with additional treatment at this office. read more

Dr Rogers obviously cares about excellent treatment for my dental/oral issues, but also takes the time to educate on the impact good oral health has on the rest of the body. Right when you walk in before you see a dentist, or are even called back to a room there's a real on the desk and they tell you to write a good review on them and they will give you a price. So everybody does that's why they have so many fives... Then she burned me for $2,000 when I asked for something in the back of my mouth to where I can eat solid food again. I need the mistake by telling her I was moving in 2 weeks out of state. She said I have just the thing... Maybe pay about two grand, I get home and find out that you have to take them out to eat a straight up scam artist. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Christopher Rogers let me know I'd need a root canal done, was very nervous about it but he was very reassuring. Did the root canal with Travis Ludy, 6 months later looks amazing, healing great. Update! Parkway is under new ownership! Dr. Rodgers is a caring, compassionate doctor who listens and really wants what is best for you and your smile. They actually LIKE teachers and they're willing to work with teachers, so mega bonus! New staff, new doc, updated office goodies. Same parking woes, but you can enter by Winco and come up instead of fighting the Trader Joe's traffic. Hands down one of the best choices for the Cigna HMO plan! We loved this dentist prior to it being bought out. As soon as the new dentist took over suddenly I needed a $10,000 dental implant (ONLY $2500 with insurance) and my husband needed $20,000 major dental surgery that he would need to take 2 weeks off work for that was URGENT. Neither of us were having any issues with our teeth or pain of any kind and our new dentist has confirmed I do not need any implants. WARNING for over charges!!! I asked for the $59 deal because I did not want to use my insurance. I was very clear to the office manager TO NOT CHARGE my insurance since they really tried to sell me the deep cleaning that I did not want or need. Short story, they collected the $59.00 for service not full provided and they DID charge my insurance for service NOT PROVIDED. I went to the office a couple times with evidence of all the charges made, he laughed at me and "promise" the reimbursement, I never received it. OK, I will start this off with the fact that I'm a big stinky baby about my mouth. I hate going to dentist, I hate hearing the little stupid drills things and I was a whiny cry baby the whole time there. I say that because I feel sorry for Dr. Toop :-) Stupid Starburst got my old filling, and here I go. That being said, she took it in stride and was able to implant my same day crown. I was pretty impressed with their prices too because I had called other places and with my insurance they were asking for a lot more. I think this place has a tendency not inflate their price and know that out of pocket doesn't mean they need to make 3 times the amount that insurance is going to pay them. Thank goodness for Yelp, because this is where I found them and their great reviews. Today, it feels a little tender but as expected. The doctor did tell me that it was go take a couple weeks to not be so sensitive. It's not painful it just feels tender. Dr. Toop was professional, kind and efficient. As most people know, it wasn't painful other than the 1st stick of the needle to numb my gums. Other than that, she did an excellent job, put up with my whining and voila...done. I came here for an implant, I was given the first half of the procedure , everything seemed fine until I came back for the 2nd part of the implant, the screw broke (their fault; person who put it back in after doing measurements tightened too hard I literally heard a pop ) and they couldn't finish the procedure they tried their best to finish it but apparently they didn't have the equipment to get the job done (maybe don't promote you do implants when you don't have the appropriate equipment do them) I was given my money back & was told they would do the procedure once more "free of charge" , they sent me to two different dentist office and neither places could do it , I call back to let them know and they tell me they would call back to schedule an appointment to get the procedure done again, this has been an almost 2 years process....I have yet to receive anything from them. I am pretty bummed out about the whole thing, I have developed a fear of going to the dentist, just the thought of starting the entire implant process again makes me sick, luckily I have found another dentist office who was kind enough to guide through the entire process and has eased my fear. I say all this , please ask all the questions you can before getting anything done with them. read more

So I was in the area and noticed a new dental office that just opened up across the park lot from my Trader Joe. Something told me to walked in without an appointment, and I'm so glad I did. The office staff and team were so accommodating. What was even cooler was that Dr Toop came out to talk to me and see if she could answer any questions I had even though I could hear they had several patients in the back that they were helping. I even got a tour of the office and noticed they had modern technology, digital X-rays, and this new thing call Cerec. They could offer me a same day cap, partial cap, or bridge without having to come back for several visits. That's amazing I thought to myself! I remembered having a cap done almost 10 years ago, and had to be careful not to break the temporary and come back almost 3 weeks later for my permanent cap. What a drag! I had such a great experience here today I even asked if I could take a pic of Dr Toop and her team, and they were very gracious even though I could see that they were busy. If you're like me and don't like going to the dentist out of fear or lack of time, I'd totally recommend this new office because they'll help you feel more comfortable and treat you like family! read more

Came as a new patient. Did a panoramic xray, which was not really necessary as a new patient. After seeing by hygenist, I was advised that she does not want to clean my teeth for regular cleaning. It has to be Deep cleaning so I said, I want regular cleaning for now. Hygenist said she can't do it since she already looked at my teeth and needed to do deep cleaning, refused for a regular coz its not right for her to do it. So then, dentist came in and explained thungs need to be done. So I listened. Manager came in and said, "Sorry to keep you waiting (about 20 minutes), I had to call your insurance." I got the estimate paperwork and compared the procedure/codes and to my surprise, majority of the estimates they provided were all jacked up and some procedures were covered by my insurance. I even called my insurance to double check, at whuch time insurance stated they will call dental office. According to the insurance, she was told by the dental office, they made mistakes and will correct the estimated charges and will email the updated one to them. What if I just believed them with the estinated charges. Then I am screwed. They even added some misc insurance codes. Just be careful. Double check with your dental insurance before committing to this office. read more

From the moment I called to make an appointment (on a SUNDAY, no less), everyone was very friendly. I saw the Dr the next day, he'd put some filler on my cracked tooth to get me to the next day when my root canal would be done, and then was able to also complete the two fillings I needed from looking at the X-ray. The assistants were RIDICULOUSLY friendly, and very pleasant to talk to. Kathleen was especially wonderful. While getting my numbing shots, she saw how nervous I was and put her hands on my shoulders.... it's little things like that that make me a loyal patient. Dr Wiltsie was very patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Even Winston at the front desk got to know who I was and checked me in without even asking my name. Lol!! I was happy when I finally found a dentist that accepts both of my insurances! (Delta Dental and Culinary). Not only did they accept both of my insurance, Dr. Chung and his staff are kind and professional! The office is also clean and well kept. I had to get a crown and a deep clean. I was super nervous because I never had either, but Dr. Chung made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. And it was not bad as I thought! If you have a fear of going to the dentist, you need to overcome it! Because if your mouth is not healthy, the rest of your body isn't either (seriously).
