The crust was thin, tasty, but lacked the chew I look for; it was a bit lighter than most in texture. The cheese, a little on the heavy side, had no stretch or snap. Ordinary mozzarella. The sauce was very good and tangy. The meatballs were plentiful and complimented the pie. The bake on the pie was excellent and it is hand made. Overall, it's a good pizza that with the right cheese could be great. So, all the hoopla? Must've been the wings!

I've never been a huge buffalo chicken slice fan because I hate loads of grease dripping off my slice and the flavor has never been there for me, but whatever these guys are doing with this works, so this is something I would order again. I also ordered a large Turkey sub with American, LTO and Mayo... definitely sub par for sure (pun intended). All lettuce and not a lot of meat...was very surprised as it was roughly $15 and probably 2 slices of Turkey all the way through, so probably a total of 6-7 smaller sized slices for a large sub. Would rate the sub a 2.5/5. I will definitely be back for the pizza! Hoping they see this and throw a little more meat on their subs next time especially for the price. All in all Chittenango Pizza loads their slices up with toppings which I appreciate. Who wants a skimpy slice of pie? Service was great, ambiance was comfortable, I appreciate that it's the old Pizza Hut, kind of nostalgic and decorated with wizard of oz knick knacks etc which is typical for the town :-)

What stood out just as much as the food was how kind everyone was. As someone visiting from out of town, I really appreciated how warm and friendly the people were. I have been coming to this establishment for far too many years to admit to and it never disappoints. Not much has changed here over the years other than the prices. They have been around for over a 110 years. The restaurant is nothing fancy and most of their business is take out but to me nothing beats one of their fresh out of the oven pies with their gooey cheese on the bottom and crispy crust.
