Ribs were cooked perfectly and the choice of sauces made for the perfect meal. Mac n cheese and dipper fries made for a great pairing. Ice cold beer and friendly staff made for the full meal deal. Thank you Oh, the sugar cream pie for take home dessert was a huge hit!

Was seated quickly. Drink order taken right away. They had Cokes which is awesome too. Most of us will order water when we go out if Cokes are unavailable. The atmosphere was charming. Booths were very roomy but the springs in the seats need an overhaul. Our waitress was lovely and very helpful. A plate of bread and cheese was placed on the table to enjoy while we waited for our food. Both the cheese and bread were delicious. One ordered the Cowboy pulled pork served with macaroni and cheese. The sandwich was excellent as was the macaroni and cheese. Eight sauces were brought to the table so that we could choose. All were good. One ordered grilled pork loin, which was a little tough without a lot of flavor. The potatoes that came with it, was very tasty, but we were told it came with beer cheese but none was brought to the table. One order was the breaded tenderloin strips which were very good. A bowl of squash soup was also served it was far too sweet. Will eat here again if I am in the area.

Awesome BBQ ...best fries every eaten

This casual restaurant is famous for its various pulled meats & 6 types of BBQ sauce...but they have, hands down, the BEST french fries on earth (called Dippers) Dippers are a mix between french fries and chips with a perfect amount of salt and cheese sauce (if you are into that) The pulled pork and pulled chicken were the best meats. Brisket was darn good also...we did not try the turkey. Favorite sauces were the sweet BBQ, Mustard BBQ and Chipolte. We tried all of them on our napkin first but you really should wait to sample with the meats as the taste is so different. We were too stuffed for desert but they offeted sugar pie, chocolate key lime pie or bread pudding. One thing about service. We showed up 15 mins before closing. We knew their hours and put in our order, ate and were out of there a few minutes after closing. Our waittress let us know when the kitchen was closing but never made us feel bad...or that we should hurry.

Excellent service!!! Waitress was on top of everything and polite!!! Good food, plenty of seating inside/outside The nachos were good but they need to melt the cheese more and put the bbq sauce on the table when the meal starts so u can put on the nachos. The bbq sauces themselves were ok. the spicy was not spicy at all. The chipotle had the more kick but again not spicy. My husband like the mustard one the best. The portions were just right and all tasted delicious! Will definitely go back!! Convenient location just 2 miles off 65 Lemonade was delicious!!! They need to see it by the gallon to go.

Barbecue in Lebanon !!!! On a recent trip to the Lebanon area, I found myself craving Barbecue. I was staying at the Hampton Inn and was looking for a place to eat close to the hotel. I took out my trusty iPhone and started looking for local hotspots. Low and behold I found Parky's Smokehouse and decided on going there. Parky's Smokehouse is a family-owned and locally-operated destination for authentic barbecue, signature steaks, Baby Back Ribs, Pulled Pork and Chicken, Sliced Brisket, Smoked & Grilled Prime Rib, Burgers, hand-breaded Tenderloins, and Stuffed Quesadillas. With an expansive menu of house-made sauces, rubs, dressings, sides, and desserts. I got there around 4:30 just before the dinner rush. I talked to my server for a few minutes about what I should get and what Parky's is known for and we decided on the Barbecue Blast which came with a half rack of baby ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, sliced beef brisket, and turkey breast. I also chose some house-made 'slaw and their baked beans. At first, I thought to myself "how am I going to eat all this?" when my plate dropped on the table. Please note that Parky's doesn't play around when it comes to food. The portions are huge but if you love barbecue then you should be used to massive plates of meat. I enjoyed every single meat that I tried, all were nicely rubbed, smoked and/or spiced, and I was able to try all six of Parky's Home-Made sauces. I even picked up some t-shirts and sauce on my way out. I have to say, I somehow managed to wolf down all of that Barbecue. Everything on my plate from the fall-off-the-bone tender ribs to the smoked turkey was a hit. The meal, the choices and the sauces were all amazing. I had a great dining experience and the meal with a couple of beers was reasonably priced. Overall a great meal. If you're ever in Lebanon, give Parky's a shot, you won't be disappointed!!

Two meat plate (pulled pork and brisket) with a side of mac&cheese and Dippers & Beer Cheese
    Sheller K.

After a very busy week, I woke up this morning and realized I hadn't eaten at all yesterday. You know you're busy when you forget to eat! On my way home with my stomach screaming for food, I spotted Parky's and entered about 1:30. I didn't realize they are only open until 2:00, so I quickly ordered the two meat plate. Brisket and pulled pork. They were both delicious! Cooked perfectly. The meat was a little bland, but that's what the BBQ sauce is for, right? I tried the spicy and spicy chipotle, but my favorite is the mustard. The nice server was surprised I liked it-she said it's her favorite but it's not too popular. I love the tangy taste! The sides I got were Mac and cheese and the potato dippers with beer cheese. Both outstanding choices. I didn't know what to expect from the potatoes, but they were SO GOOD! I highly recommend! The food and service were both great, and I will have two more meals out of the leftovers.

Parky's Classic Pulled Pork Sandwich with Dipper Fries and a pickle
    Amy W.

My husband and I have been to Parky's Smokehouse a few times and their food is consistently very good. I ordered the Classic Pulled Pork Sandwich with Dipper Fries and my husband had the Cowboy With Dipper Fries. Our sandwiches and fries were excellent and we would definitely recommend these items. We also had six different sauces to choose from and we both picked the Sweet barbecue sauce for our sandwiches. Our service was fast and Leah did a nice job.

Ribs, brisket, chicken, Mac and cheese and bbq beans

I have no idea why this place claims to be a "Smoke House". It was one of my worst bbq meals ever. I got the 3 meat combo $35. Ribs, brisket and chicken. Everything was over cooked and dried out. And you would think paying $35 for a plate it would include bread? NOPE! That's an additional $2. Nothing had the flavor of smoke. The only way to get flavor on anything was to add a sauce. The Mac and cheese noodles were over cooked and tough and the flavor was just melted cheap cheese and milk. No spices or nothing for flavor. The bbq beans were decent and the best thing of the over priced meal. But the sides are very small. First time here and never coming back.

Wedge salad ... no bacon or tomatoes?
    PJ S.

I really wanted to like Parky's but I couldn't quite get there. First of all, lets be clear, this is a family friendly steakhouse. You should not try and compare it to St Elmos in downtown Indy. Thats not what it is or tries to be. And that's fine. But even comparing it to an Outback Steakhouse it just comes up a little short. I ordered a wedge salad for starters which was simply iceberg lettuce with Blue cheese dressing a crumbles. Where's the bacon and tomatoes? That's pretty standard for a wedge salad. For the entree I got a basic flat iron steak and half rack of ribs., The steak was cooked the way I asked albeit without much seasoning....and the baked potato was A-OK. The ribs came with some sort of rub that was mild to the point of being almost tasteless. I didn't hate anything - but didn't really like much either. The baked potato was probably the star of the meal and thats not a compliment. Service was friendly and prompt. But the food is simply mediocre. Sorry, Parky's! I wish your food was as good as your staff !

The food was ready surprisingly fast, probably within 7 to 10 minutes. The staff was friendly throughout the visit and did a great job checking in on us, clearing trays, and making sure everything was going well. As for the atmosphere, I can appreciate the theme they were going for, even if it's not quite my style. The dining room is pretty dark, and the dark murals make it feel even darker. Slightly dated decor in the venue section of the building but it's coming back! The Flag Room has bar seating or 4-top tables with windows overlooking the back of turn 2 of the track. There was another dining area inside for under 21 patrons when we visited. Not sure if that area is always an option. As we entered the Flag Room our server asked if we'd prefer to sit on the deck. Yes, of course, on this beautiful fall day. And thank you for asking!! A few of the appetizers are BBQ pulled nachos, smoked chicken wings, loaded fries, Smokehouse chili and three salads (Caesar, chef, tex-mex). Main courses are mostly sandwiches such as pulled pork hoagies, beef brisket, turkey bacon club, burger, tenderloin, chicken, smoked brisket tacos, house smoked baby back ribs and a veggie wrap. My husband ordered the Brisket sandwich which was not only a delicious sandwich but a good value for the price. It was served with yummy, thick, homemade chips finished off with their own in-house seasoning. Quite tasty and I ususally don't care for thick chips. I ordered a cup of the Smokehouse Chili with cheese and onion. I enjoyed the meaty, tomato based chili. For my entree I had the flavorful pulled pork hoagie served with excellent lightly battered fries. Again, it was a generous portion of pulled pork with a smokey sauce that had just a touch of sweetness. Most sauces are to sweet for me but I really enjoyed this one. The fries were amazing with a light batter, golden brown and seasoned well. Our server, Alicia I think, was attentive, very personable and friendly. Our drinks remained full, our tasty food arrived quickly and the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. Nolan is a big ball of energy and a joy to be around. He set the vibes to light, fun and whimsical and I really appreciated that. Everyone moved around the room freely, visiting all of the tasting stations that were set up with whimsical, hand-drawn decorations on the paper tablecloths (much like that seen on the Pinterest commercial). There were 6 different ones, all with multiple options at each station. I tried sardines, razor clams, pickled ramps, an entire array of Fishwife tinned items, mustards, seafood dip that is made in-house, oysters, the list goes on. They also introduced me to an Indiana-based soda company call Bollygood, with Indian-inspired flavors. I love, love, love the Lime Basil Cumin flavor. I wasn't too sure about that combo, but it was delicious and super-refreshing. It smelled like a taco...but didn't taste like one! The Lemon Mango Turmeric was really good too.
