Just be prepared there are a ton of different options so choosing what you want is definitely a challenge! I ended up going with a Berry, Churro and S'more. Excellent foray into the croissant donut sphere! Beware of the parking! Make note of your license plate so the cashier can validate the parking. Horror stories abound for the parking situation. The ambiance is perfect for a peaceful study break or Sunday coffee. The lighting is soft and the there's ample space for conversation or a good book. We got the raspberry pistachio and the pumpkin cheesecake. Both were fairly sweet, so pairing with coffee is a must. The layers were well executed with no overdone ends or raw bits. Each bite was satisfying with bits of the glaze and toppings in every mouthful. I preferred the pumpkin cheesecake. The flavor is autumnal with the acid bite from the cheesecake. The raspberry pistachio also performed well with a more subtle nutty fruit flavor that was reminiscent of Mediterranean desserts. A wonderful place to start the morning! read more

As a self proclaimed donut connoisseur I can't believe i've been driving past this place for years. Recently moved into the neighborhood and thought i'd order a pickup, got the french toast and strawberry donut along with a pup donut for my dog. On a side note, might want to avoid these or give very small amounts for a few days because my dog's stomach did NOT agree with the donut.... RIP my yoga mat.. anyways the donuts were amazing , so fluffy and fresh! I just wish I had a little more icing tbh. Can't wait to try more !! read more

We were craving donuts for our last day in Denver and this place popped up a lot of tiktok so we gave it a try. The overall place was very simple and cute and service was quick. We had a hot spiced cider (8/10) it was good but a little too much of the spices. Bacon breakfast tacos (9/10) simply because it's an egg patty and I'm not the biggest fan of those. The avocado toast (8/10). It was really tasty but over seasoned with salt. It got a little hard to handle after a while. But of course it's a donut place so we're really here to rate the donuts. We got Blueberry Hills (100/10) one of the best donuts ever and the Colorado Toast Crunch (9/10) just because it was very sweet at the end. Parlor Doughnuts are my favorite doughnuts in Denver. However, I will not go if the rude skater boy with the electric blue hat(Saturday, 10/5/24 @ 10 am) continues to work the POS. I was relieved the last few times I visited because I wasn't met with poor attitude and the lack of kindness from him. He was rude and gave sass anytime I asked a question. He had an AirPod in his ear, was unhelpful to his co workers. He was leaning on the counter, back turned to customers coughing while not covering his mouth. He treats people poorly and chooses who he is kind to or who he decides to dismiss. I feel for any of his coworkers who work with him because they tip share. He is messing with their money, because they were all kind. I refuse to tip him because my money will only go to people who are deserving. The rest of the employees on the shift should get recognition for being great! read more

This shop is a great little neighborhood spot. They have lots of yummy looking pastries and if you aren't a donut fan they have other options like a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was good and there is plenty of space inside to enjoy or work. The parking is a little weird. I could not tell if I was supposed to pay or something? First I want to say that if you park here MAKE SURE TO GET IT VALIDATED. We did not and there were signs so it is our fault but just make sure to do that. Okay, the aesthetic in this place is magnificent. A great amount of space to stand in line (if necessary), but when we went there wasn't much of a line so that was really nice! I love the plants inside and there were tons of tables and natural light for photos of course. I do wish that they had some kind of wet napkins on the tables for hands. Onto the best part! These donuts were without a doubt the best I have ever had in my life. We drove an hour to get them and we're so happy we did. My favorites were type French Toast and Strawberry Shortcake. The French Toast was in my opinion the best of all of them. The donuts themselves have such wonderful flaky layers and a sprinkling of sugar on the outside. Definitely messy on the hands! Wow! I had no idea this place was so delicious! We had a random craving for donuts and thought we would stop by on a Saturday morning. We arrived around 11a and we just walked in with no wait. We opted for a box of 4 donuts and these were our flavors: - French Toast - Espresso - Strawberry Shortcake - Raspberry Pistachio The best seller is the French Toast and for good reason: it's perfection! Our second favorite was the espresso: not too sweet and right up our alley. A must for coffee lovers! Unfortunately, the fruity ones weren't hitting us the same as the first two. They were lackluster in comparison, but we still happily ate them :) All the donut bases are croissant-like, so lots of flakes and layers. Pro tip: There are at least 2-3 free designated parking spots in the lot in front of the shop. read more

Along the lines of the cronut, but so much better. There's a lot going on with these delightful desserts. I definitely classify this as more of a dessert than a breakfast treat due to their size and heaviness. Doesn't matter though. Treat yourself! Parlor Doughnuts were a delicious way to start our Sunday. My husband and I had both been craving some doughnuts and I had been eyeing Parlor for awhile now! I've been here twice now and have been impressed both times. I brought over a box of Parlor doughnuts to a Christmas party, and all of my friends loved them. Sad that the prices went up but inflation... My favorites were the maple bacon, blueberry, and French toast. AMAZING freshly baked donuts. When looking around for something to have for breakfast, I saw that Parlor was something new that opened up since i had been in this area. DONUTS: I ended up getting the seasonal donut that had fresh fruits on it. The donut dough was so light, considering how larger it was. I probably could have had another one! But I decided to stick to one. PARKING: Since I drove here and it's somewhat downtown. The parking situation is either street metered parking. There is also a private lot that Parlor will validate for 2 hrs with your purchase. I do see from the reviews below that folks have had trouble with the parking validation, so i recommend doing the street metered parking. All except one are just donuts with toppings/ not filled. Believe they have 1 raspberry filled donut. I had to control myself and only get 3. Blueberry, French toast and cookies and cream. Blueberry was sweet with icing that had speckles of blueberry in it. French toast was delicious had a brown sugar vanilla flavored topping and glaze - this one seems to be a popular one. Cookies and cream was your standard - not overly sweet with a cookies and cream crumble. My favorite was the French toast - it's a must for breakfast! I want to come back to try the bourbon caramel, strawberry and honey glaze! Staff is super friendly and this place gets busy. Popped in on a Saturday at 8:30 am and I had to wait 5 or so minutes. They have coffee, a kitchen with more food options, and a small seating area. Parking lot is pay to park and paid street parking. I like that they offer a discount on the donuts the more you buy! I also ordered 2 for my dogs and they devoured them right away. There was only one person when i went so there was a line. Snowmageddon 2021 was the ONLY thing Denver was talking about, so you know the only thing on my mind: GET DONUTS. Originally wanted to go to another place up the street from me in Aurora until Yelp said hey, wait a minute..there's a new place with 5 whole stars you should probably check out. Enter Parlor Doughnuts and their famous layered doughnuts. They have a whole kitchen serving up a few breakfast items: tacos, sammies, and acai bowls. It's also a coffee shop in there where I got some REALLY good cold brew. But most importantly, they have doughnuts. And these are unlike any I've ever had. Think a croissant doughnut, but heavy on the croissant. They layer their dough with butter, so these come out flaky and delicious. And these flavors! I unfortunately only got a 6-pack: Turtle Cheesecake, Reeses, Chocolate Chocolate,lol Strawberry Shortcake, Cookies 'n Cream, and Dreamsicle. Everything looked and sounded delicious, though and let me tell you, these doughnuts were gone even before we got any snow on the ground. Tried out a couple of keto doughnuts from them too and they were actually pretty good! Much better than some others I've tried. Also had to get the pup some dog doughnuts (made with 100% natural ingredients) and he loved these. Such a great addition to the ever-growing list of donut shops in the city. These are the BEST doughnuts I have ever had, and I lived in Seattle which is like the capital of doughnut-ville. THESE ARE BETTER. So I'll start by saying the consistency of the cake part of the doughnut is perfection. It's almost more like a flakey croissant / cronut, which feels lighter and fluffier, giving me the ability to eat more and not feel too full or ill. Now, the flavors. The gal recommended the blueberry, and I didn't listen to her. Luckily my husband did because o m g. GET THE BLUEBERRY! It's my favorite and we've tried a few. A close contender is the churro. The chocolate is so good in a bite with the cinnamon. We've tried a few others, but they weren't memorable enough for me to have anything to say about them, but I don't think you can really go wrong. Also, if they are out of the flavor you want, ask if they can make one for you! It only takes them a few minutes to frost one of their made doughnuts, which brings me to my next point, they don't seem to ever run out!! I've been driving past this place on my way to work since they've opened and finally stopped in yesterday. My only regret now is WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG. And I have to say, these layered doughnuts are in a class of their own. I ordered four donuts- the Dreamsicle, Sandy Beach, French Toast, and Campfire. I went in the afternoon and they were sold out of many flavors and the dude before me snatched the last Lemonade which I really wanted (it's cool I'll just come back real soon). So far, they are all delicious and I really believe you can't go wrong with any of them! The texture of the doughnut is perfect. When you bite into one of these, you get a slight crisp from the outside layer. Then you get a buttery, dense, soft inside that is flavored so perfectly. Not your typical donut, but super delicious and interesting textures will have me coming back and spreading the word! Imagine a fluffy croissant, in the shape of a donut, topped with icing. That is the best way I can describe Parler Doughnuts. The body of the donut is very fluffy and full of air like a croissant, with the right amount of flakey crispness on the outer crust. The bottom of all their donuts have a little bit of course sugar that also adds a surprising and fun crunch to the experience. I tried the BLUEBERRY HILL and CAMPFIRE donuts. Both were absolutely delicious. The topping : donut ratio is perfect as I didn't find either to be too sweet or too bready. I would say however, that these donuts are on the larger, slightly denser side, and so I wasn't able to finish an entire donut by myself. Also of note, Parler offers parking validation in the lot right next to the store, so make sure to give them your license plate number when paying. Also of note, Parler offers doggie donuts. Sometimes serendipity brings us the best things in life. We came into this shop because we parked in their lot and thought we'd go take a look. That was all we thought it would be - a simple peek inside. Upon entering, we realized this was a life-long love affair, more than just a fling. I started off with two croissant donut hole things, and a strawberry shortcake donut. I thought, this will do, for I am one human. As soon as I took a bite of the donut hole things, I realized that it would not do. I ordered 8 more. They are truly the most delicious balls of flaky goodness, and I can't recommend them enough. The strawberry shortcake was also absolutely perfect. Think donut meets croissant meets strawberry shortcake meets heaven. Anyways, this was yesterday. We returned today, because, well, a force stronger than you and I pushed us to. See, I'm a believer that love really should be easy. That's what Parlor Doughnuts embodies - true love, bliss, simple desires and happiness. Today I got the blueberry hill, and with it, an entire box of goodness. My friend got a keto donut, which though may not sound appetizing, she attests was quite amazing. And my friend doesn't say this about many things. Had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, the croissants (which are the base of every donut that we saw) did not seem fresh. The flavors and toppings looked amazing but they were all on the same mediocre croissant which led to a disappointing yet expensive experience. Try Donutsville (in Westminster) for amazing FRESH donuts, and a variety of cake and yeast. I think they DV might be the best in Denver, so maybe we are spoiled. My only complaint is the parking and it's not even Parlor Doughnut's fault because they don't own the parking lot. Make sure you validate your parking when you first walk in. So definitely had to save one for later because they are ginormous, but that didn't keep me from aspiring to greatness. I also had the avocado toast but it was not noteworthy. Trying to not get overly excited when writing this review is going to be hard. I am a self proclaimed dessert connoisseur and donuts have been at the top of my preference for as long as I can remember. I tend to be pretty picky because being from Miami we had so many amazing options living there and when I began moving around I realized that not everyone can make an amazing instagramable AND otherworldly delicious doughnut and let me tell you that Parlor doughnuts is certainly checking all of the boxes. I tried 4 different flavors and they were all 10/10. The combination of the flaky, buttery croissant-like dough and whatever else they top it with is literally fool proof for these guys. Every single flavor was an absolute hit. I can say with confidence that these doughnuts are a solid 2nd in my favorite donuts I've ever had list. The shop is absolutely adorable too. There are plenty of places to sit and sip a coffee and I think they provide parking although I found street parking without issue. Seriously though don't waste time if you haven't been to this spot.
