Avocado toast
Deb F.

My husband stopped off here because he was at a meeting and someone had brought donuts. He said they were awesome so he wanted to try the breakfast sandwiches and a donut treat. He returned with an avocado toast for $7.95 and he ate his donut before he got home so no Picture. He said it was good but expensive as everything seems to be these days. Probably if he got the avocado toast without the half of egg sliced on top it would of been a couple bucks Cheaper...lol. My husband said the place was very clean and customer service was good. There are a few donut places in the area and they are all good with their own little twists.

We found this charming spot on yelp and the reviews pulled me in. I'm happy to report, it's all true! We were cheerfully greeted to a lovely array of donuts in the most unusual flavors. I chose the turtle donut and a hot mocha with almond milk. We were headed somewhere else, so we didn't sit to enjoy the decadence, but the seating area was cute and definitely a vibe! We're going again before we leave the beach! 10/10 highly recommend!!

AMAZING! These donuts were so delish and freshly made. The place is cute with seating inside and outside. They have lots of options for donuts, breakfast items, and coffee. My personal favorite was the French toast donut. I wish I could have them all! The service was fast as well.

French toast, maple bacon, lemon bar, strawberry shortcake.

First impressions was this place needs a decor update, very bland. The donuts were great, but not as good as I was hoping for. They are basically cronuts that are transformed into delicious varieties. I tried 4 different kinds and the French toast donut was the star. The cashier girl was friendly and helpful. She had some decent suggestions. Parlor is worth trying for sure.

Service was impeccable as even though we visited close to closing. There was no cronuts in the showcase but she quickly reassured us they had most everything in the back. The items were of the usual high quality and sweet, delicious flavors. Ambiance was open with lots of products for sale as you shop

Top to bottom: jelly filled, lemon bar, blueberry lemon cheesecake, blueberry hill, french toast

If you want a good donut go here! They have the ability to produce a donut that is unlike any donut I've ever tasted. Crispy and crunchy yet fluffy and light. Flavors are just as good, whatever they advertise is exactly what you get. Service is immaculate. The building (exterior and interior) is vintage breakfast spot. Would not be surprised if this is the best donut spot in all of the destin area soon. Heard it here first! French toast and blueberry lemon cheesecake incredible.

Good Lort! We spent a little mini vacay down in Destin and on the way back through Ft W we wanted to stop in and check them out. It was the original intent to grab one with a drink and get back on the road, but I ended up buying a boxed dozen to sample each of the options they were serving that day. I can't get over how amazing these things are.... like the best croissant you've ever had in donut clothing. The combination of the donut flavors on a fluffy and delectable croissant carrier mode would do me in if we had one closer to home. Stop and get some and thank me later.

Highly recommend! Very friendly and lots of choices!! I personally had the turtle cheesecake doughnut, and it was absolutely phenomenal!

Nice cup design with their logo.

Merriam-Webster describes a doughnut (donut) as "a small cake made of fried dough, usually in the shape of a ring, or round and filled with jam, fruit, cream, etc." Oxford Dictionary: "Cake made from fried, sweetened dough leavened with yeast or baking powder; may be filled with jam or cream." So what are these sweet delectable delights sold at Parlor Doughnuts? Their descriptive home "about" page sums it up thusly: "Parlor offers their signature "Layered Doughnut", which sets them apart from the traditional cake or yeast style." (You might read here "cronuts." "Cronuts" share the shape and some of the flavors of a donut but have the flaky, buttery texture of a croissant. If you wanted to describe the difference between a cronut vs donut in short, some might say a donut is doughy (hence the English-English spelling (doughnut) whilst a cronut is flaky." I found Parlor Doughnuts to be a delightful crossover, albeit all-the-same-model and shape (so to speak). Made fresh throughout the day and basically just topped with a nice selection of varying sweet treat icings/toppings/sugary goodness. So is it a donut? I doughnut want to answer for you....You should stop in, buy a few, taste, and decide for yourself....then let us all know whether it is a dough-yes or dough-not. PS By the way, their hot coffee was excellent!

Are the still temporarily close?

Yes, until January, 2021 as per the owner. We kept hoping they'd open back up for Christmas :-(.

While visiting for vacation we wanted a change up from our week of seafood and found this place…read moresince not far drive from our resort. We were seated immediately even on a busy evening however that's where it ended. The host forgot our highchair and then we must have been invisible as no one came to our table for quite some time to the point we were going to leave. Im guessing she was a manager stopped by asked if we had been greeted yet, she took our drink order and offered some bread (it was good). It was still quite awhile until the server came to the table. We ordered some appetizers and then eventually our meals. The pizza did not live up to the reviews and my vodka sauce was lacking flavor.
