Good experience. Friendly and quick service. There is something for every palette. Cute retro vibe! The doughnuts were good. I really liked the French toast the best. The others were similar.

Had never tried parlor doughnut before but heard they were giving out free donuts for the grand opening so I figured that would be the perfect time to try them. I ordered the turtle donut and an avocado breakfast taco with an açaí refresher to drink. The donut was just okay. I was expecting the texture to be similar to a traditional donut shop donut but it was more like croissant texture and the icing wasn't super sweet nor was the donut "glazed" like traditional donuts so that threw me off. I enjoyed the taco and the drink very much, the refresher was similar to the one at Starbucks and I like that this donut shop offers different food items and not just donuts. I also love that they offer something for our furry friends so I did buy a doggie donut to give my dog. He loved it. I went back a few days later to try another donut flavor since I had a coupon. I ordered the strawberry shortcake and it was DELICIOUS. I loved that it has whipped cream and real strawberries on top, just like strawberry shortcake. This just might be my new fav. I'm definitely going back soon for another one.

League city just got a little sweeter! Stopped in today to celebrate Parlor Doughnuts grand opening and we couldn't be happier. The shop is clean, welcoming, and accompanied by so many yummy options! We ordered the carnival strawberry doughnut and the chocolate chocolate. Both were delish. The texture is unique. Imagine if a croissant and a doughnut became best friends. Come and take a look for yourself!

I took my son and his friend here after a sleepover. They needed a boost after staying up way too late, haha. We ordered 4 donuts [pumpkin cheesecake, bourbon caramel, s'more, and churro], a honey cinnamon latte, and a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit but sub a croissant for the biscuit. We were in around 9a.m. and the case was looking pretty picked over but they still had a decent selection. I tried a bite of my son's churro donut and it was SOOO good. It was flaky and soft inside and slightly crispy on the edges just like a good churro should be. Overall, I find this place to be too sweet to make it a regular stop but it's perfect for a special/occasional treat. My latte tasted mostly like honey [can't taste the coffee] and my sandwich had some kind of jam on it which was good but I wanted savory and this pushed it towards sweet. The service at first seemed kind of slow while I was ordering but I think that was down to customers deliberating. They initially made my sandwich wrong, but told me to keep it and made me a new one free of charge when all I asked was them to take it back and put it on the right bun. My drink also took awhile and so [without any prompting or cajoling by me] she upgraded it to a large. Little mishaps happen everywhere, but making it right without having to be asked is exemplary and pushed this place into 5 stars for me.

Honey cinnamon cold brew - medium, I know you know based on the color that it's perfect

This place is toooo tooo good. Their coffee is amazing and you definitely need to try the raspberry mini donut! My order was the honey cinnamon cold brew, a raspberry mini donut, and an avocado taco. I would eat it everyday on the way to work lol Besides their food & coffee the staff was super super sweet ( which is hard to come by) ... phone didn't get to eat first but definitely try this place out!

SUCH A CUTE LOBBY

THE LOOK/LOCATION: Such a cute little shop! Great decor and ambiance. I will say it can be a pain in the but for parking as well as the entrance from 518 as the road merges RIGHT WHERE the entrance is so you really wanna be in the right lane or you're in a for a tough time! THE FOOD/DRINK: We got 3 breakfast tacos (an order that comes w/ two tacos and an order that comes with one.) Delicious with great quality tortillas. The eggs really felt well portioned and In a day and age with fast food breakfast just feeling cheaper and less worth it; Parlor gives me plenty hope! The donuts were spectacular! As someone who would make Voodoo Donuts a frequent spot whenever I visited other states, these MONSTROUSLY sized delectables make me nostalgic in the best way possible! I got the berry and pistachio and Cookies and Cream. You'll need someone to share a single donut with. Not a fan of the coffee but they have plenty of options so many it was just the one I went with. I believe beyond exorbitantly priced for what you get. Nothing special about the coffee but they do need to make sure they get one that works well! The one they had BROKE while I was waiting on the order. Took them 20 minutes to start the coffee orders again. PRICE/CONS: It does get very pricey very quick, so definitely make this one of those "special" places to visit so you're not emptying your bank account on these addictive beauties! I originally ordered single donut and went to pickup, left the store and came home. I ended up actually missing the donut so I called and they apologized and said they appreciate me letting them know and offered to make it right by giving me the donut already ordered AS WELL AS an additional donut FREE OF CHARGE. Very impressed with the professionalism from the young cats that were running the show behind the counter!

Amazing selection and so fresh!! You have to be crazy to pass this place up!

Been hearing great things about Parlor Donuts and finally got over to try them. They all are wonderful. Dason's service was so helpful and we enjoyed the Peanut Butter cup and the Turtle cheesecake. Clean and quiet and the smells are so amazing.

Parlor Doughnuts delivers again. This location has a drive thru which makes it easier for pickup, but I still prefer going into the store. The layout is great with plenty of tables and the windows give the store a nice vibe. The stars of the show are the doughnuts but breakfast tacos and latte are as good. Service was great and friendly. It's an easy access from freeway from either direction. If I am coming from the bay shore side, I make a U-turn under the freeway and the light is always green.

Cinnamon toast, crunch, and bourbon caramel and one box and the minis in the other
Sarah S.

Smelled fantastic and we received great customer service. We ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Bourbon Caramel donuts along with a box of minis...amazing!! The minis are a win because I'm not too big on sweets and the sweet to bread ratio was perfection. They come with a dipping sauce so if you have a serious sweet tooth you can control that sugar level.

Doughnuts with hair

I went in to get some doughnuts yesterday around 6. The drive thru was closed, and so we went in. The guy said he couldn't help us because it was only his 4th day working and the girl that could do it ran out crying. She came back in sobbing and was still trying to work. None of that really matters there was one of his blonde hairs in the doughnuts.

I was not impressed. Lots of variety, one donut average $3 . I just ordered a box of minis. The presentation of donuts was not good. the box had no type of liner, so I am not sure if the minis were picked up with their hands or not.

Great breakfast this morning at Main St Bistro after church. This was our second time here…read more Same friendly service in a very comfortable setting. They had a lot of daily specials to choose from. We both ordered from the brunch menu. I ordered The Alamo. A breakfast bowl Cheesy Hash browns, Bacon, Sausage and Ham covered with Gravy and Three Over Easy Eggs. My wife ordered the Le Bistro. Two Scrambled Eggs, Grits Bacon and an English Muffin. I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.

The garlic parmesan Brussels sprouts were a standout appetizer! They were crispy, flavorful, and the perfect balance of flavors. The French onion burger was incredible, packed with rich onion flavor, melty cheese, and cooked perfectly. And the whiskey cake was the perfect way to end the meal.. it's a dessert you definitely don't want to skip. Food - 4.5/5 Service - 4/5…read moreAmbiance - 3.5/5 I had only heard mixed reviews regarding this place going in, so I figured my experience was going to be the same, but it was an overall very positive one. The ambiance was nice as we walked in, and after being quickly seated next to a window, the atmosphere was nice. They did end up covering the window before we started eating, and the little bulb way above us and candle did not really provide light enough for us to eat (I get it is mood lighting, but I like seeing what I eat). The food was really solid, though. A few times I've been in the past it was all too salty, but this time around it was much better. I got the Farm Bird, and it was very juicy and had a very nice crunch. The Fish and Chips were nice and flaky, while the Pork Chop was extremely juicy and rich. The shrimp in the rigatoni was definitely oversalted, as well as the broccolini greens in the pork chop dish. The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.
