Made two stops here during my recent visit to Nashville. The staff was very friendly and did a great job picking the perfect dozens. Had a little sample for my self and lucky there isn't a location near me. The donut was light and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. Large-sized, super flaky donuts with well-executed flavors. One of the most uniquely textured donuts I've ever had as well as satisfying. OK, maybe it's me but when's the last time a merchant made you take 99 cents in change instead of letting it slide. My bill came to $6.01 and that's exactly what happened to me. Now don't try and tell me that customers just don't bother taking a few cents in change. I do all three time. This is exactly what hurts our coin shortage in this country. The only mistake I made is I should have charged it on my AmEx, that way they would have paid a 24 cent fee. That's what I'll do next time, but not here. I'll just take my 99 cents elsewhere. read more

SO!! GOOD!!! I live in New York and travel around the Northeast often so I've had my fair share of maple products but am always excited to try a new one! I stopped at Parlor as a last stop on my way to pick up my bags from my hotel and head out of town. I got a maple donut and it was insanely delicious. Mine was fresh out of the oven and warm, it had a croissant like texture drizzled with maple icing and was absolute perfection. So much so that my entire ride back to the hotel I thought about this donut. When I got back to the hotel I very much regretted not getting maple donuts to bring home and made my entire party make a U-Turn and head back to Parlor before leaving down. Absolutely recommend trying the donuts here. Plus, the staff was super nice! I also really enjoyed the inside aesthetic of the place, if I lived in Nashville I could definitely see myself spending time here. I like Five Daughters, but they now have some stiff competition in Nashville with the recent opening of two Parlor Doughnuts in Nashville. I would have to give Parlor Doughnuts the edge with doughnuts being every bit as good, a larger menu, excellent coffee, nice area for dine-in, and lower prices for the doughnuts. If you are looking for gluten-free, however, Five Daughters are much better. Parlor Doughnuts needs to work on a new recipe. read more

Super light and fluffy donuts. I usually hate feeling super heavy after eating donuts, but not here. Sandy beach definitely tasted like a cinnamon roll and the blueberry hill had enough blueberry flavor without being overpowering. Will definitely come back. ALSO super cute interior! read more

The only reason this spot gets 4 stars is because their kitchen was closed. Would have loved to get a sandwich for breakfast. But their donuts are delicious love that they have several different flavors and the cookies and cream did not disappoint. Was in town for the week at a conference hosted at a nearby hotel. Breakfast was provided at the conference, but on the morning of my departure I had to find something on my own. I pulled up a map on my iPad and this place was a couple blocks over, so I decided to check it out. I didn't catch the lady's name that helped me at the counter, but she was very nice. She informed me that the French toast donut was their best seller. They are big, so I got one of those and a maple bacon donut. Wow, easily one of the best pastries I've had.
