Still going to Pari and still very satisfied. I'm really glad to see the uptick in reviews of her salon because I adore her, in addition to holding great admiration of her work ethic. She hustles for her clients. I completely trust Pari with my hair and it wasn't until our third or fourth appointment that she was more forward with making recommendations - I always tell her, "Pari, whatever you say. Do whatever needs to be done" and the result is a consistent stream of compliments. There are some comments about price, which seems strange to me. I am not rolling in hot tech dollars and find a cut and color to be extremely reasonable - I pay less for Pari's services in the middle of Silicon Valley than I did in the DC Metro Area. Granted, I only go every 3-4 months, but I don't know where else you can find a completely trustworthy stylist in the same price range. Pari continues to be legit. Go see her. read more

She is super rude. Doesn't pick up calls, doesn't reply to voicemail. I had an appointment with her which I missed because I was stuck in a meeting at work. I know this is my bad that I couldn't inform her beforehand and I am not making excuses for this. She called me and I started to apologise on the phone and I wanted to know if I could reschedule my appointment.... In the middle of me talking, she hung up on me. Pari was very kind and patient with me and helped me decide how much to trim off the damage done to my hair by a previous salon. She was great, and the transformation was immediately noticeable. I walked out proud of my choice and highly recommend her salon. She was cautious on my behalf as she didn't want me to be unhappy with the cut, but I ultimately decided to go for it and chopped off 6 inches. Pari is fantastic and has been cutting my hair for awhile now and I cannot say enough great things about her. She is great at managing naturally curly hair and has guided me over the years to have an easy care and great looking cut and color, adjusting it as I have aged. Very happy with the outcome of my visit to Pari's. This is a review for women's hair cut. She fixed the layers (it was in a terrible state owing to a previous stylist), and talked her way through the entire appointment. She gave several useful suggestions on solving some hair related issues. She was very patient, and did a very thorough job. I was very happy with the results. Pari's services don't come cheap but they are certainly worth it! She is thoughtful about the hair style she is giving you - face shape, body weight, whether you spend time on grooming or need a style that just need a simply brush before you get out of the house. This was my first ever haircut in the US as I'm usually very wary about getting them anywhere except India, especially when going for a dramatic change (this time, I wanted to cut off almost 10 inches). However, after looking at all the excellent reviews on Yelp and Google, I decided to go to Pari. I booked an appointment for a Saturday afternoon. Pari was kind enough to call me about half an hour before to inform me that she was running a few minutes late, which was a really nice gesture. When I arrived, she spent a few minutes understanding what exactly I wanted my hair to look like and made some insightful suggestions! She did a beautiful job with the haircut, asked me and gave me recommendations on how I could donate my hair for cancer as well, which I definitely will! Pari is such a nice, sweet, attentive woman and knows what she is doing. The place is very clean and since she is the only one working, it's more relaxing for the customers. Pari asked me what I wanted and I let her know that I wanted to do a trim to keep my length (long hair a bit past my armpits to be specific). She showed me how much length she would cut off before doing so which I really appreciated. She gave suggestions on what I could do with my hair and answered all my questions. Pari even asked if I used anything in my hair (creams, gels, etc) and based on my answer, she dried and styled my hair accordingly. My hair looked great afterward but I need to wash my hair to see how it looks at home. The only reason why I am giving her 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pricing is quite expensive. I was charged $65 for a wash, haircut (1" off to maintain my length), and blow dry so with tip, my haircut was almost $80! Luckily, I had enough cash but unfortunately, I won't be able to see Pari too often due to the pricing. read more

Pari did a great job at fixing my hair. After about a year of growing my hair out, trying different cuts with different stylists, my hair was a bit of a mess. Pari took my non-expert suggestions and gave me a very good cut that remedied all the uneven bits. Excellent value -- $50 for a wash, cut and dry. Salon hours are Tues-Fri afternoons & evenings, plus Saturday am & pm. Note that this is a straightforward hair salon -- it isn't one of those salon/spa type places with lots of hair products for sale, where they give you a glass of white wine while you wait, they do mani/pedis etc.; those places are 2x-3x times more expensive because you're paying for a fancy environment and to get waited on hand and foot. This salon is focused on giving you a high quality, well priced haircut, so if that is your priority, this is am excellent place. read more

I had been with the same stylist for years and even followed her to Gilroy for almost 3 years. With the weather conditions the way they were this year I knew I had to find someone else. I chose Pari because of her reviews of being sweet and listening to exactly what her customers wanted. I wasn't disappointed. She color matched my hair perfectly, suggested a new cut which I love, and styled it all for way under $200. I am very happy! I already booked my next appointment. Her location isn'\t ideal thus I gave her a 4 star rating rather than a 5. The salon is in a commercial/Industrial area and you have to walk up clean but sketchy looking stair area to get to her. Once in the shop, you will see she has decorated it with plants, flowers and some modern style furniture. I was very comfortable with the atmosphere as it felt relaxing and peaceful.
