I had haircut from Pari and facial from Mehri. It was my first visit to this salon. Both of them were very genuine, humble , friendly and expertin their knowledge and work. Mehri first analyzed my skin, discussed my habits and skincare regime and shared suggestions about skin care and dietary habits. She does not enforce you anything like other salons. I felt very relaxed with the exfoliation and massage with soothing music at the background. Pari is the hair expert here. She washed and conditioned my hair first. She studied my hair's health, discussed what regime for hair, and concluded my hair is very healthy. I asked her not to shorten my hair length as I am looking forward to grow hair in length, however wanted a better shape for my hair. She gave me a wonderful shape, bounce, bangs with minimal shortening of length. I am surely looking forward to make this salon my regular salon. read more

I m from Chicago and was at the Bay Area last week on a personal errand. I decided to get a haircut but was quite nervous to try at a totally different place. Pari made me super comfortable by walking me through various hair styles that would suit me, which I was not even aware of. Where do I start? I just moved back to the Bay Area after 21 years and needed my hair done desperately. I phoned to make an appointment and spoke with the salon owner Pari who asked all the pertinent information over the phone. I still knew that finding someone who would really listen as well as produce the finished results I desired could be disastrous as it has been at other salons beforehand. Not so here. The salon was quiet and serene. Pari took a lot of time asking even more questions as well as looking up pictures to ensure the result was what I had pictured and she nailed it. I am done. I will never go anywhere else and what she did was pure magic. Even making my hair look longer (?!?) somehow as I am growing it out. You won't be disappointed. Pari is an amazing hair stylist! I came here wanting to color my hair but wasn't sure what I wanted. I've had a terrible experience with hair color a couple of years back in Seattle so I was quite hesitant to get it colored again but I knew I wanted a change. She made me so comfortable, understood that I was the conservative type who wanted a change but did not want to go over the board. She showed me the colors that would suit my hair and my complexion. We picked a Carmel color and she suggested chunky highlights and I went with it and I cannot be happier!! She also gave me a hair cut with perfect layers. She was so calm and did such an amazing job. I had a great experience with Pari! I have very thick naturally curly hair and came in with a previously botched haircut. Pari went to work trying to fix it. She gave me a cut and color. My hair looked great. It is really hard for me to find someone that can work on my type of hair which was evident from the last "stylist". Pari is extremely skilled not to mention warm and welcoming. I just loved my first experience here. She did exact same hair cut I wanted. I love my long hair that's why I'm generally afraid to get a new hair cut as they sometimes cut it too short and tell that it was necessary to match the style you asked. Pari did a great job. I've been getting my hair cut at Pari's Salon since the early 1990's, when my roommates told me about her. Back then my hair was a rich, chestnut, brown. I was single, and about 40 pounds lighter. I had dreams. Now, I'm married, sporting a dad bod and a couple of dad-chins, and the hair's gray (and as at the father of a soon-to-be teenager, I earned every one of those gray hairs). Even when I lived in San Francisco for 13 years, I'd visit once a year or so. Now that we're back in the South Bay, I'm happy to be a steady customer once again. Pari is nothing short of fantastic -- being a guy, I'm pretty ambivalent about getting regular haircuts. Pari will ask if I want a "six-week" or "eight week" haircut. I typically go for the "eight week" cut, and come back twelve weeks later, because I'm a guy and being manly and all, I can just shellac my follicles with whatever hair glue I can find at the drug store. Her salon was super convenient for me and she was able to get me on the same day that I called her. As others have said she takes time in the consultation to find out what you are looking for and your hair maintenance (i.e. I want wash and wear hair). She then tells you what she thinks would be best based on your hair texture. I ended up going a bit shorter than I thought I wanted in order to liven up my fine hair. I'm incredibly happy with the haircut- it looked great when she did it and even looked good- when I styled it myself. I highly recommend her for your next haircut. read more

Pari did an amazing job with a major haircut (about 2 feet to 2 inches). She asked a couple of questions about what I wanted, thought about what would look best with my face shape, and then did a very careful and thorough job. I am really happy with her work, especially given what a huge change this was for me. She really took her time to check with me to make sure I was happy with how it was going during the process. The first time she cut very carefully. When I went the second time, she seems to be not understanding me. My bangs were in the same length, I asked her to make a layer in bangs so the fall perfectly and blend with the rest of the longer layer; she completely butcher it. I've been unsuccessful in the past and had so much difficulty in finding a good salon for my haircuts. I have very thick and wavy/curly hair. Pari was able to understand my hair type and give me quick layers that was previously cut uneven. She framed the face quite well and hair feels so much more manageable than before. It's a small, neat, no fuss salon that you can go to get a pretty good haircut. The cut and blow dry cost me about 100 in total including tip, which is almost what I've paid in the past for better salons with fab blowouts but with weaker haircuts. So depends on your priority as to what ur looking for. Will go back if a good cut is what Iam looking for:) read more
