Went here on the recommendation of friend and was very pleasantly surprised. The prices seem to be hefty, but you do get a ton of food for you money. Also, the bread is not like any that I have had at a Middle Eastern restaurant. It reminds me of good garlic bread from an Italian restaurant. The restaurant space is huge and looks like it would be a fun place for a party. The server was pleasant and even offered me a free dish on my first visit. I have been back since my first trip and I tried the buffet. I would recommend going off the menu, as I think the food and bread taste better fresh out of the kitchen. Also, the dessert they offer with the buffet is a random hodge podge of bulk food from Costco/Sam's. That small issue aside, the food the serve here is beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This place was great! We came here after a soccer game. They were very accommodating even though we walked in 45 minutes to closing. All but me ate off of the buffet. They all enjoyed the food offerings. And the buffet was the best option for the two teenaged boys who each ate 4 plates full of food! I had chicken kabobs, which were delicious! I went to Pars for a casual anniversary date with my husband and loved it! The dishes were tasty. They've added on a new menu with non-Persian options so we ordered a pasta from there and everything else from their classic menu which included koubideh combo with chicken only, Kashk-o-bademjoon, I loved how tender the chicken was and how fresh the pasta tasted. We enjoyed our leftovers for at least 2 days after because there was so much food! I enjoyed the ambiance of Pars! It was a quieter weekday evening but couples and families were all there having a great time. I felt cold and mentioned it to the waitress and she kindly turned up the heat for me! So sweet! I wanted a photo of me and my husband and was struggling to take a selfie when the restaurant owner offered to take a photo of my husband and I. He even helped us find a cute spot. I am in town for work and decided to order from this place because I love Persian food. The Beef Koobideh photos looked so good on Yelp . It showed the beef being nicely grilled, juicy and served with rice and two grilled tomatoes. I ordered my food online and when I went to pick it up, the beef was super dry, not charred and having only ONE tomato. They did not include napkins or utensils either. Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in West Bloomfield! The food is mouthwatering, home-cooked tasting, perfectly seasoned Persian food dishes. Of course, nothing beats my mom's Persian food, but this is a very close second. I order from this restaurant at least once a week. The portion sizes are really good and come with a delicious soup for the entrées. I highly recommend the lentil soup. I always order the Joojeh Kabob (grilled chicken) and Khoobideh. Gholmeh sabzi is amazing there too. Don't forget to order a Mast-O-Moosie. It's a garlic yogurt dish that goes really good paired with the meals. We were at this restaurant this evening. First of all, there was a strong smell of greasy food inside the restaurant. The restrooms were very dirty, and the quality of the food was really poor. We paid $130 for our meal. I was very hungry, so I had to eat a little, but honestly, the food had no taste at all. In my opinion, the food quality was very low. Great for people who have never had Persian food and want something "simple". Grilled to perfection and made with the perfect amount of spices. The rice was cooked perfectly and the onion and tomato are great side features to nibble on with the meat. The Shirazi Salad was good, Barley soup was flavorful and the appetizer (Roasted Eggplant) was good to! Service - The waitress was great. Very attentive and polite. Atmosphere - Mediocre at best. For the flavor of the food and how busy this place gets, I'm really surprised the owners have not remodeled yet. I haven't been in in over 7 years and still nothing has changed. The decor is outdated and the ceiling tiles have water stains on them. For $50 worth of food, the atmosphere could be a bit more appealing. Because of this, I give this place 3 - stars. A completely different culinary experience from anything, I have ever had. I ordered a side salad, barley soup, lentil soup, and a traditional Iranian soup for an extra dollar, comes with noodles and yogurt. My favorite soup was the lentil, nicely cooked yellow lentils with good flavor. My second favorite was the traditional soup, I cannot really relate it to anything, I ever had, but it was good. For entree we ordered the sweet and sour pomegranate chicken. Very interesting dish my kids loved it not my favorite, but I am not used to having fruit and meat together, the dish was good and I am glad, I tried it. We also tried one of their specialty rice dishes with orange shavings, pistachio, and saffron. It was served with chicken kabobs, the dish was good the rice was almost like eating dessert, never had anything like it. My favorite was the jumbo shrimp kabob, the shrimp is cooked simply but perfectly, served with grilled vegetables and rice. The lentil soup was very good, as well and had little tang to it (detected notes of lemon), but it wasn't overpowering at all. It had the right amount of salt in it, too. The lamb chops (urban slang) was "off the chain!" They were juicy and was not skimpy in size. My waiter had told me beforehand that three would be good for me and he was right. We tried a few different offerings which were all new to us as we had never tried Persian food before. We always love coming to Pars and I'm never disappointed in their food. This area has a lot of Middle Eastern food but Pars really stands out in quality and taste. We started off with the hummus and baba ghannouj which I fell in love with. Normally I don't like baba ghannouj but this time I really enjoyed it. For my meal, I ordered the Baghali Polo with lamb shank and the meat was so tender and soft, it just fell off the bone. And the flavor of the gravy was excellent and went so well with the specialty rice. We also ordered the lamb chops which were amazingly tender and moist as well. Pars sadly doesn't look like much from the outside- they're under construction and even when not, it just looks like any other place I have driven past tons of times. The only reason I came here actually was because my friend arranged a meet up there and claimed the food was good. So I guess this place goes on word of mouth. But OH MY GOD was she right!!!! The entire experience from start to end was excellent. Even service- they were 15 min away from closing and they still happily seated us! And we got to order from the whole menu. We got their chicken kabab dish, I don't have the name, their fesengan and a kufta dish. Wow wow wow. Fesengan was excellent. Their chicken was soooo juicy and full of flavor and same for the beef one! We ordered their yogurt with I think it was saffron and carrots also excellent and went so good with their bread. Even their simple soups the lentil and barley were so comforting and good! I was so impressed and pleased. Then we had their Persian tea which was also spot on and a perfect end to the meal. The atmosphere could def be improved- it's booths and very casual... but maybe that's what keeps the prices decent I'm not sure. But this is a place where their FOOD is the star!!! After having sour cherry chicken in a Persian restaurant in Boston, it became my goal to find the same dish in Michigan. I finally found the place at Pars! The place was pretty empty for dinner time, and I felt under dressed in my jeans and flannel. A plate of sour cherry chicken was $17.99 which I thought a bit more expensive than it was worth. I loved the cherry rice but not the chicken kabob as much. I enjoyed the warm bread and the little plate of feta and veggies. Overall Boston wins out but it was decent fare! read more

We ordered there two plates of koubideh combination meal. Chicken and beef kabab with Parisian rice and grilled tomato. The entire item on the plate was flavorful. The meats were so soft and juicy. We ordered eggplant appetizer - Kashk-o-bademjoon which came with complimentary bread fresh from the oven. And the tea was the best tea I have ever had. Fantastic experience. I will recommend this place again and again. The most important thing is the service was great and fast and the price of the food is not expensive at all. A wide variety of Iranian dishes, my favorite is their Lamb Chops if you like your meat medium rare. I recommend trying their Garlic sauce, which is an imitation of the generic meditranian garlic sauce, but doesnt have garlic in it. We also had their Sultani combo which came with 2 skewers of meat (a chicken and a beef kabob), and i'd prefer their beef. They have many different types of rice, dont be afraid to try them all. The dining area is HUGE!! Perfect for large events, gatherings, and parties. They also do live music as well as their on-going Persian music playlist. They have booths, tables, and a bar area. Everything was super neat and clean and my favorite spot is by the corner where all the Iranian toys and artifacts are placed, just so much to see and so much to learn about Persia.
