Order family tray yesterday and appetizer tray. Food was great, plentiful and friendly service

We ordered a combo for 4 for dinner. We had 8 people eating and it was more than enough food. We had leftovers for the next meal too! We received a big tray with chicken cream chop strips, gus, kabob, half of a rotisserie chicken, and some cubes of chicken tikka. The meats were all arranged on top of a bed of yellow rice on one side of the tray and bulgur on the other. The meats tasted great. I especially liked that the gus didn't have much fat at all. It also came with three cups of stew, one curry and two white bean, and one serving of soup. We got a medium hummus that was flavorful and was gone within seconds. However, we ordered a shish tawook sandwich for one of the kids. The chicken in the sandwich was burned and they couldn't eat it. I don't hold it against them though because children tend to be picky sometimes...lol. Other than that, everything was great and we will likely order from the again for our family dinner! read more

Order make your own bowls frequently. They have never gotten my order correct. It has always been a minor mistake missing dressing, or pickles Etc. In my recent order they got the protein Wrong and it was something I would not eat. I called and what did they have to over me? How about if I drove back over after they ruined my dinner they would make it for me again. No discount, no refund, no money for my time, gas aggravation. But alas the big old carry out tip jar. We ordered Doordash from here today - bit confusing because on Doordash it says it's the Welch Rd location, but it's indeed this one, on Orchard Lake Rd. My boyfriend ordered the beef kafta meal, which comes with two sides - he got the potato curry soup, and salad - and I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. We had a $10 off $40 promo for doordash so I also threw in some garlic and a chicken tikka sandwich - it was interesting to me that they had that at a Mediterranean place. I actually liked the tikka sandwich more than the shawarma, surprisingly. The bread and garlic were also delicious. I would definitely order from here again. Be aware that they do have bread as a separate side, on Doordash, but they threw in a little baggie for us because we ordered garlic. I order from them chicken strips for kids 40 pieces without fries when I got them it wa a bag from Costco baked and charged 150.00 not worth it not homey then order salad(arabic salad)paid 50 dollars they forgot the dressing. Not worth the visit. read more

I ordered the princess Maza tray for $28, when she included the baba ghanouj, tabouli, hummus, fattoush and falafel. We ordered a quart of the crushed lentil soup and a chicken Shawarma with hummus. The order would take about 25 to 30 minutes. I guess I have time to go get some gas and come back then. The food was ready in about 25 minutes. Tables made it appear we are to keep our distance. Staff told me to come to the counter to pay. I did. I could see my maza platter sitting on the table, it looked big. I had a 25 minute drive home. The chicken looked sparse compared to the smallish pile of chicken. The chicken wasn't bad. The hummus was good with the chicken and the platter too. The falafels were super crunchy on the outside. Not too dry inside. The baba ghanouj was smokey and good. The tabouli was nice and lemony. The fattoush salad was also good. The dressing is quite tart and flavorful. The crushed lentil was pretty smooth and tasted good. Added some fresh lemon juice to it to give it a bit of citrus love. The only down side of the maza platter is that the tabouli and the fattoush should have been packed separately from the hummus and the baba ghanouj. There was a pool of fattoush dressing on top of the baba ghanouj by the time I arrived home. The store bought pita was tightly packed in Saran Wrap to keep from getting hard. read more

Wow.. DELICIOUS! There are a lot of Mediterranean restaurants in the area and competition is fierce. When I walked in these guys said "were the best" and let me tell you... They tell no lies. I got the Falafel, marinated chicken chunks, the lemon chicken soup, pickled cabbage and the hummus. The flavors and sauces are AMAZING. Last week I paid like $30 for meal at another local Mediterranean place and I felt like it was a bit of a wash.. nothing special or certainly worth that much for what I got.. I never went back. I appreciate a good, honest delicious meal with no gimmicks or unnecessary show that's affordable and memorable. Princess Mediterranean delivered a better meal with better prices. I'm in town for business and don't have time or money to waste and I want a place with healthy, no nonsense options. This place meets all of those needs effortlessly. They're so kind and friendly to boot. :) Will definitely return! Wonderful people, great vibe.. which is refreshing because (in my opinion) Michigan has been inconsistent in the service industry category, so it's so nice to spend my money somewhere that I feel I'm paying for a quality product and being taken care of. After a long day of traveling from Houston TX to Farmington Hills, i checked into my hotel and asked the front desk rep on good places to eat in the area. I was encouraged to stop by Princess Mediterranean Grill. What an incredible choice!!. Upon walking in, I was greeted by two very welcoming associates and even offered the beef shawarma to taste. After 16 years, I'm no longer a resident of Novi. While moving in to Farmington Hills, I was so hungry and decided to drive around and came across this gem. I ordered a Greek salad it was DELICIOUS. Had a catering order for a kids birthday party and Kenny and Princess grill did an amazing job! The food was a big hit and everyone wanted to know where we got it. Kenny was patient with me when I needed to edit the order, but we locked it down a couple days prior to the event. The kebabs, both beef and chicken were so flavorful and juicy along with the chicken shawarma. Highly recommend. The hummus and baba ghanoush 2" trays were soo good and perfect size for the party. Wow. This food is incredibly authentic and high quality. I am blown away! Tried Princess food at a catered event. To start, the salads are great. Fresh and crispy, and the tabouleh is the best in Dearborn. The meat was tender and just spicy enough. Also tried the minced chicken kabob,which was my favorite. Tried large chunks of yellow chicken,which were juicy and flavorful. The yellow rice with sliced almonds and raisins was phenomenal!! Absolutely delicious and a great price. My family orders from princess often and its consistently good. We usually order the party platters, which consist of a few different types of meat, rice, curry and white bean stew, torshi, and bread. We always have extra food the next day. I would definitely recommend the kabobs (both chicken and beef) and the cream chops. The potato chops are always delicious as is their fattoush. Errr. The one in walled lake is better. So disturbed by my experience at the west Bloomfield locale. Food tasted terrible and they forgot to make my order so the cashier hurried up and made it himself without washing his hands after touching money. Very common practice in Mediterranean restaurants few follow health department guidelines. Let's talk about that ranch dressing, it is not a squeeze of Lemon in the dressing it is lemon concentrate or lemon essential oil the same thing is douced on the chicken and it's very unnatural tasting. i've always wanted to try this place because I've heard from my families and friends that is very good. My family and I decided to get a combo for four because I looked at the photos beforehand and saw that it might be a lot of food so even though my family has six people I decided to get the combo for four. Upon picking it up the staff was very friendly and timely with my food. It was very hot and it was ready to go right away. When I got home, I opened it and it smelled so good. I decided to try a little of the meat then I was immediately blown away. I then tried a little bit of everything in the combo including the rice the beef that chicken and all of it was delicious. It was plenty of food for my whole entire family for a couple of days actually. They gave us extra pita which was so nice of them. I'm so glad we tried this place and I will be back again. I am applaud by these people. I was a walk-in. First time, I was tired & picking up dinner and going home. I looked over the menu and did not see anything that fit a family style meal. I then asked did they have oregano deboned chicken. The guy taking me order said no we have deboned chicken but it's with Lemon garlic deboned chicken dinner. Ok. I replied. What are the sides and he said soup or salad. I said do you have potatoes. No just French fries. So I completed my order by adding lentil soup and salad. When he totaled up my order it came to approx $24.00. I said how much food am I getting an entire deboned chicken is just $24.00? Then I said I'm trying to fed my family. He said well this won't be enough for to adults so I said ok, I'll add 1/2 deboned lemon garlic chicken. This time my order came to $37 some odd cents. He said it will be ready in 20 minutes. I bought a 16oz. brisk tea while I waited. A customer returned because her order did not have bread and she wanted to pick up rice because she obviously could not find the rice. So the owner comes out and warmly addressed her issues but the same guy that took my order came out and began to argue with the Lady about putting bread in her bag. I checked my order and saw that I had salad in a hamburger sized container. The 1/2 deboned chicken was not enough to fit on a sandwich slice of bread. It was very small. It was a total disaster going into that restaurant. When I got home needless to say what I had in my order I could not fed my family. If you are not in business of serving people why are you open? We shouldn't have to be short changed because your business is not producing as much revenue as you want. Very, shrewd and dishonest without batting an eye. read more

Update: Came in 930 on saturday 3/25 for takeout and they said they're basically closed and won't do any orders--wow, great customer service. If you want to be closed by 930 then change your hours from the listen 10pm. ----- My boyfriend was in love with the chicken here! It was well seasoned and very juicy! No real complaints from me besides that the service was kinda slow. We ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and the shawarma plate. Being from Chicago, I am spoiled in that there are literally hundreds of great Mediterranean restaurants. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised with Princess! Nice staff, very clean restaurant with elegant decor, excellent food and HUGE portions. My girlfriend and I got the combo tray for 2, and there was easily enough food for 3 if not 4 people. We were able to substitute our salads for a plate of hummus (totally worth it). It is a little pricey but you are getting good quality Mediterranean food with large portions. Best bang for your buck would be a combo tray especially if you have 2-3 very hungry people. They could also use a better sign as it was a bit difficult to locate but all in due time. Ok, so I've revisited the place to try to figure out what the draw is.... it is very authentic - go there and watch the carryout business on Saturday or Sunday if you don't believe me. As far as the sandwiches, they are good. Not the best in the land, but good. I like that they are grilled, but the grilling makes the lettuce and tomato a little soggy. The bread is just pita. Not the hot fired bread. What they are better at is the platters. The have platters for 2, 5, 10 and so on. For my son's birthday I got the platter for 10 and the maza platter (I think it was called that...the one with the hummous and tabouli, etc.). It easily fed 40 people with leftovers.
