The name Par Tea is pretty accurate. Up to par but nothing too great. I've been here twice and although it's clean, the person taking my order was nice and cheerful, the product is just okay. My biggest gripe is how little boba they give and it's on the stale side and not sweet like honey boba should be. Ive been here twice and both times the boba was very little. I usually can't find any good boba spots in Van Nuys. I usually have to go around San Gabriel, Pasadena, Alhambra area. I tried this place this past weekend with my siblings and it was really good. We had the watermelon slushie, hokkaido milk tea, and the earl grey milk tea with tiramisu foam. I would definitely go again especially since it's so close. read more

I got the black milk tea with pudding. It was pretty good, but not the best I've had. The regular cup is 24 oz, and the cup seems bigger than most boba places I've been to, but it still fit the cup holder in the car (yay). Service was quick. Plenty of seating inside. This place is actually really good and I enjoy coming here quite often. Today I made an honest mistake when ordering as I asked for mango jelly but was heard as boba and did not catch the switch when reading the order back because I ordered five drinks. Upon picking the drinks is when I noticed and asked for the change and willing to pay the difference. I was greeted with attitude from the girl making the drinks - I think her name is Grace or something - which I did not appreciate when I was trying to be apologetic about the mistake. I paid for the boba yet had to pay extra for the jelly when it was technically a switch so I paid extra. The money isn't the issue, but I basically tipped to get attitude. read more

Coconut milk is good, don't get me wrong, but I was expecting an avocado flavor and I could only taste a high amount of coconut milk. I love their boba smoothies. We live near many places that have boba and we have tried most of them because of our kids. This is by far the best boba that we have tried near by. Really nice people and the costumer service is alway welcoming. They don't open as much as the used to due to COVID-19 and by the time we get there they are sold out of boba but their smoothies are really good anyways even without boba. What a find! This place is God sent, as I've been searching for a boba place near me that serves cheese foam. I was near the area when I looked up coffee places to sit down and do some work. Partea Boba came in up my search and I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! The space is nice, open, and clean. There are plenty of tables available to sit and do some work or just chill while enjoying some delicious boba. After scanning the menu I went for the Rose Oolong with cheese foam and honey boba...OMG! It's amazing! The rose tea is delicious without being overly sweet and the cheese foam is the perfect mix of creamy and sweet. The boba is chewy and sweet, it's awesome! I even love the size of the cups as they are not ginormous bowls but you don't feel that you're getting cheated either. The staff is super cool and the space itself if very calm. I saw other people on their laptops doing work, some families chilling, and other people playing a variety of games (jenga, connect4). They have a pretty extensive menu with lots of options of teas, milk teas, smoothies, slushies, and many toppings. They have conventional flavors as well as some interesting "partea specials" which include the cheese foam drinks. I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first sip and the boba was simply deliciously soft and sweet. The roasted almond milk tea was basically dessert but for damn sure it was a good one.
