I thought I would give this guy a chance to make things right but fuck that. I take my 2016 Ducati Hypermotard 939 to have head steering bearings done. This guy doesn't even have the proper tools to do the job. If you don't have the proper tools to do the job why would you take it on.....This guy mars up my paint and damages my steering head nut then has the audacity to tell me its cheap part we all know Italian bike parts aint cheap. This guy is a backyard mechanic at best. He definietly ain't certified to work on italian bikes or have any cerifications to show that hes a competent mechanic. Zero. Left my fork screws completely loose, never tightened the steering bearing, my radiator wasn't properly flushed,brakes weren't pumped back up, so I rolled out with no brakes. Over a year since this happened. He apologized and I still have the texts but refused to refund the half I wanted without a review favourable to him. I waited this long because I fixed the issues he left errant and had cycle city tighten up the steering bearing. Tyler told me my bike was junk and to get rid of it. After proper mechanical work the bike has 15k more miles on it. I was going to leave it to karma but the facts are facts. Bike is going strong, I would not recommend this garage. I have a used Suzuki TU250X that I recently bought for my wife, and I wanted to have him give it a thorough inspection to see what was needed. I should have had him inspect it BEFORE I bought it because I missed a couple of items that might have helped in my negotiations with the Seller. After the inspection, we settled on what I wanted repaired. Tyler was never pushy about what needed to be done. In fact, a couple of the items he said could wait. Tyler recommended I purchase the parts on my own to save money, and he even reviewed my final shopping list a few days later before I ordered them to make sure I got the right parts. Once the parts arrived at my home, I reached out to Tyler to secure a return visit to make the repairs. As the date got closer, Tyler confirmed our appointment and then on the day of the appointment he let me know when he was on his way. All the work was performed in my carport and he did a great job both in the repairs and cleaning up. The labor hours were spot on, so no surprises when I was presented with the final invoice. He walked me through the steps he took and ordered the part for me. Took my bike in the next week and he was done in an hour. I've ridden some questionable motorcycles, but not here at Party Cat Garage, Tyler has a motorcycle for you. I went with the Vulcan 800. WOW! Perfect island bike. Aside from the fact you are riding in Oahu (highly recommend), Party Cat: Kawasaki Vulcan 800, my biggest fear when renting is the simple maintenance shortcuts, not here. The first time I rented from Tyler I gave it my inspection. I was more then happy with how well Party Cat Garage take care of their motorcycles. I wanted to get a valve inspection/ adjustment on my 2014 Kawasaki ninja zx6r. Cycle city gave me a starting price of $1,200. I found party cat garage on yelp... not many reviews unfortunately but I'm happy I took the chance. I dropped off the bike on a Monday evening for a Tuesday appointment. He told me the bike had to sit for 24 hrs to fully cool down. Got a text from him Wednesday morning about 10 a.m. that the bike was ready to go and at less than half the price cycle city quoted me. Also threw in some brand new spark plugs for me that I provided. Extremely knowledgeable and can tell by talking to him for only a few minutes he's a motor enthusiast and specialist. Glad I took the chance. I'll be calling him FIRST for any further needs. Thanks again Tyler! I also read on his reviews he will travel to you.
