Fantastic find, really enjoyed the pupusas as well as the mixto plate with chicken, beef and pork. Later that night my buddy and I dropped over $300 at Joe's Stone Crab only to realize Catracho was a far more satisfying meal! If I am ever back in Miami I'll drop in again for sure!

    Beef soup

Beef soup. So me being from Orlando eating this soup in Miami I must say it's super tasty. If you're a soup person you must check it out.

Absolutely love this place! We were vacationing from out of town, and everything was absolutely amazing. The woman behind the counter was so nice and knew exactly what we'd like. This was our first time trying this cuisine, and I promise you it won't be the last. Now every time that we come into town, we'll make sure to stop by on the regular. 10/10!

    Delicious raspberry juice! Deff recommend

I definitely recommend this place! The food was absolutely delicious, and the aesthetic of the restaurant is super cute. I love how they have the Honduran flag around and the little small details. The food was delicious. I ordered desayuno catracho and a pupusa. When I saw the salad on the pupusas, my expectation were kind of low, just looking at the color. But to my relief, the salad was so delicious and the pickled onions we're just perfect and so spicy, I loved it! My boyfriend ordered carne asada he loved it as well, it was very flavorful. I also ordered a raspberry juice, I definitely recommend that juice. The waitress had told me the translation in Spanish for raspberry, but I don't remember what it is. It is the hot pink juice. I recommended it is so so good! Overall I definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is so delicious and authentic. I love the ambience and the aesthetic of the restaurant. The only suggestion that I would make is to update the sign outside. When we got to the plaza, we were kind of confused where it was because there was no sign until I noticed that the sign had broken in half and I had seen Honduran Cocina.

Excellent Honduran food! I had the Carne Asada, ordered rare the way I like it, and it was some of the best I've had. The beans, rice, avocado, and tortillas all were perfect. I haven't had ripe plantains before with a Honduran dish, but now that I know I'll specify green. The pupusas are fantastic! They come with cabbage and spicy onions and jalapeños. For an extra kick, ask for the purple chimol. I also had the horchata.. a very nice flavor! (I've been here three times now, and the food is consistently excellent, the service is friendly. The beans are amazing. Also, my wife has ordered ahead several times from her work for lunch, and they are prompt- with excellent lunch specials- packed to go. The ONLY flaw I find is that they have two televisions running news, novellas, etc. full time over the small dining area; they are, however, happy to turn them down or even hand you the remote. I just always question the presence of TVs in a restaurant unless they're a sports bar.) Another update: they have some "secret" parking. The lot out front can be impossible to find a space in, so we were told to call ahead for parking out back.

Arriba Catrachos*!! Inside this little storefront is an amazing Honduran eatery. Warm, sociable, and family oriented, this little restaurant serves up some big flavors and ranks pretty high on my BBB (Bueno, Bonito, y Barato) List!! They have a large volume of to-go orders so don't be surprised when you see lots of bags going out the door as you walk in. The menu lists your typical dishes like baleadas, pupusas, Honduran style tacos and enchiladas, carne asada, and anafres. Their sampler platter is the best buy if you want to try a little bit of everything. It's perfect for two. Everything is made to order and worth the wait! They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the hungry crowd. The owners takes pride in their product and service and have three locations around town. They make sure to provide their best each and every time. I highly recommend it for that no-frills, laid back, hanging with your honey, lunch or dinner. Enjoyalo!! *In case you're wondering why Hondurans are called Catrachos, here's a link to the WikiPedia article... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hondurans

So delicious food!!! The place is small and may not look attractive from outside, but don't hesitate to enter. The food is authentic and very tasty.... hand made tortillas . Try to get there before 9:00 because they close at that time, even though on Yelp it says at 11:00.

Miami, Miami, Miami. Every time I come to your town the food scene never lets me down. Found out…read moreabout this place years ago but never was able to make it to the restaurant. When you walk in the restaurant is very clean but it's very busy so pack your time and patients the line moves very fast so that's a plus. When you go there just know that English is spoken very little so learn how to order your food In Spanish it's shows that you at least tried and they very gracious that you tried. Now to the food very delicious and well season I was a little disappointed at how much meat they gave but that was my eye being bigger than my stomach. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Miami.

He recommended a couple of places but we decided this was the closest to us and so we came here. At first glance it doesn't look very appealing from the outside but once you go inside you know your are in the right place. It was packed with people picking up to go orders and on the other side of the place was a huge line of people waiting to order. The line moves pretty fast .We didn't know what to order so we asked the gentleman in front of us what he normally gets. He told us a few of his favorites and so we sort of knew what to get. So you get to the front of the line and it's sort of like Panda Express you tell them what you want from the food in the containers. I chose gallo pinto which is rice and beans mixed together and also got fried pork which sort of tasted like Al pastor and I also got something that is similar to ropa vieja. My husband got the black beans and carne asada with a tortilla. Oh and they have queso frito which we both had .I also got fried plantains and we ordered a manuelita which is like a pancake with something sweet it tastes like pancake with lots of syrup, but not overly sweet. One of the workers came to or table and brought us something that was round almost like a small donut hole. Except it was dough and not to sweet . She said she didn't want us to leave without trying it. I am so happy that we got out of our comfort zone and decided to come and try this food. It was so good. Oh I almost forgot that they also serve you a salad not really a salad it's cabbage and carrots in a vinegar sauce. ( sort of the cabbage that goes on top of Pupusas) and they also have us a sauce which was not that spicy at all but it ha little pieces of diced carrots ana onion . I won't lie that I came home and started to look for Nicaraguan food places in my city. Because it was so good.

Unfortunately, the music was so loud (4 pm-ish on a Sunday) it was extremely difficult to compete against. People were shouting over the music. It wasn't as "warm and inviting" as I expected. It was so loud, I had to leave. I was looking for a place where we could dine and where (normal volume) conversation could take place. Sadly that was my first impression. I ordered a quisqueya roll and tried to cancel before leaving but was told it was too late to cancel. So I bought it "to go" while we found a different place to eat. I'm normally not a complainer. In fact, I usually give excellent reviews! I tried to avoid the negative review and originally messaged them privately via IG. No manager approached us; no one seemed to care.

The vibe is perfect for a night out with friends or just to enjoy good food and good energy. I also want to give a big shout-out to the staff. I accidentally left my wallet there the night before, right after Thanksgiving, and they kept it safe for me until the next day. Truly honest and attentive people. That alone shows the kind of service they provide.
