I have had two experiences here. The first was with our Accord that needed work and we were unaware it might still be under warranty. This shop suggested we try and even called Honda on our behalf. Turns out it was and their thoroughness saved us $800!!! Next, our Pilot was shaking like crazy and we had previously taken it to another shop that said everything was fine and the shaking was probably due to the warm weather. Things worsened and we wanted a second opinion. Took it here and they said the rotors were almost shot but were able to fix it and now the Pilot drives normally again. No shudder. Thank goodness. I will never forget the extraordinary service and experience Lalo and his team delivered to us. Our car broke down on our way to LA this past Thu. Googled car repair shops and called another shop specializing in European cars first. That individual was not helpful and only said that I will probably need a new part, which may need to take several days because it needs to be ordered. This individual wouldn't even let me text him a picture of my issue. I then reached out to Lalo and the team. They immediately gave me their text and took time to discuss the issue with me. Based on that, I had the car towed to their shop. Lalo immediate started to call around for the part. This took him well over an hour in the middle of the afternoon even though I noticed the shop was very busy with repairs and other customers. After trying the local dealer and several other places that wouldn't have the part until Saturday (which would mean that we would need to expend significant cost to stay over the weekend), Lalo found a place that would deliver the part on Friday afternoon. Lalo managed my expectations by letting me know that it may not arrive on time but ultimately it arrived at around 3 pm on Friday and Lalo and the team got it done for us immediately so that we could get back to LA Friday night. As one of the other reviewers said, you never know if an out of towner will be taken advantage in a situation like this, but the bill was so low that I felt like i should pay more and did so. When I thanked him for this miracle, all Lalo said was that they treat people like they would like to be treated if they were broken down some place. Good honest empathetic people going above and beyond for other people in need. It's so rare in this day and age. Thanks again for this early Christmas miracle. read more

As fast and efficient as you could hope for in a mechanic. I was a walk-in, having seen the big Smog Check sign, and knowing my Buick's registration was due in less than two weeks. I asked for their availability later in the week when they said they could take me right now. From pulling my car in the parking lot to signing my credit card receipt took maybe 40 minutes at most. The first time I received my car, They left an inch in a half torque wrench in my engine. Causing more damage. They will also quote you far above any other competitor. They were going to charge me $220.00 for a $40.00 water pump. As well as $220.00 to install. It only takes a little over an hour for that install. They are riding on the previous owners merits. I tried to give them the benefit the doubt, had nothing but issues. it took them 3 weeks to finish brakes. rotors, 2 ball joints, and alignment. If they had not tried to grossly over charge me I would of left this alone. Not same owner. read more

I had a broken bolt on my manifold it was on my GM pick up I was quoted $800 elsewhere to have it removed. I brought it to these gentlemen and they explained that there was a special brace made to fix the issue it cost me $150 and I haven't had a problem since. Took my '97 Honda here for tune up. Definitely felt like they took advantage of me because I'm a girl. The mechanic told me my car needed over $2,000 of work (mind you I bought this car for about $1,800), that it was a "death trap" and he was "too scared to even drive it into the garage." I thought that was so incredibly rude so I decided to get a second opinion before giving them any more business- everywhere else I've taken my car has said it runs just fine and is completely safe. My husband and I were driving north from Southern California to home in Redding. We were planning to spend the night in Paso Robles but half way there our car's air conditioner stopped working. This was during the major heat wave yesterday. We looked on Yelp and saw the good reviews. I called Isaac and made arrangements to bring the car in as soon as we could get there- which was 3:30. By 4:30 our car was repaired. Isaac was willing to stay after closing if necessary to make repairs. As a p.s. My wife took her car here for a smog check and oil change. Wound up with oil all over our garage floor the next morning (car was not leaking before). Not thrilled about having to waste time bringing it back to have them try a second time to correctly change the oil, but whatever mistakes happen. Turns out the oil filter wasn't installed correctly. Was told a correctly installed filter should fix the leaking, but if it doesn't and it continues leaking we can bring it back and they can look at it again. Seriously? That doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. You shouldn't need three tries to get an oil change done right. Maybe our experience is a fluke, maybe it was an off day for the shop, but either way we won't be returning for future services. read more
