We heard Franco arrived at Pasquale's and my fiancé is his biggest fan so we decided to check out the place. First it was a little dirty. Next they don't have small pies and because my fiancé is boring and only likes cheese we get our own pies so I can be adventurous. So you are forced into getting mediums and paying for mediums. We got garlic knots which were pretty good but then went downhill with the pizza. One of the worst pizzas ever. And it's not how it was cooked, but the ingredients. You can tell they use cheap cheese, you know the pre shredded kind covered in cellulose as it didn't melt hardly on the pizza. It was awful!! read more

Picked up two pizzas, both were ordered with extra cheese. Both pizzas had very little cheese. Cheese is the main ingredient for me, since I don't eat meat. Undoubtedly THE worst pizza I ever tasted. Dry, hard, taseless. the crust shattered into multiple shards when I tried to bend it. Worth noting that it took both hands to break it. BUT, it was 4:00, on a Tuesday afternoon, and I only ordered a single slice. The last slice of bacon cheese left in the case! I thought long and hard about taking it, but the two or three leftover pieces of cheese pizza looked worse. They had no doubt been laying there since lunchtime. So, given the other reviews I might take a chance the next time I'm in the area. But that's just a maybe. There are too many other pizza establishments around to take another chance. Although they might be the same person. I blame the owner not the cook. Trying to eek out a few extra cents on a dead piece of pizza isn't worth getting a review like this one. read more

Tried Pasquale's for the first time as my local place recently closed (Franco's). The pizza was very much above average, and is very cheesy with a tasty sauce. The crust had a nice crunch, while still having a lightness to it. Inside seems to be recently redone, with a good amount of tables, and I noticed they even served beer which is always a plus. read more

We tried all the famous New Haven pizza places and others from Enfield to Danbury and everywhere in between.... Pasquales is by far the best pizza. I just ordered from Pasquale Pizza and wings on Boston Post Road. First time ever using delivery. GrubHub was awesome. I own a restaurant myself but with everything going on, I thought I would treat myself. Unfortunately, the first time ordering food online and first time from this restaurant, my order was incorrect. Normally wouldn't bother writing review but ordered supreme (lots of toppings) but got a plain cheese pizza. I called at 8 pm but no answer or machine to leave message. Maybe they are closed. Just annoyed since I don't eat fast food or even many carbs for that matter. Lost 52 lbs. recently and I was excited to indulge during quarantine. If the pizza was WOW I would care. Nothing great. Casual pizza parlor with full Italian menu. Service was excellent and the food was great. Ordered three entrees, one was a daily special (zuppa de pesce) and all three were cooked and seasoned to perfection. It is a storefront restaurant with seven tables and several stools at the counter. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat on a Friday night. Every place was packed and he was in the mood for pizza. We drove past Pasquale's and I said "let me yelp it!" so I did and it had 5 stars, big surprise. We went in and had a delicious Italian dinner of garlic bread (not that frozen, generic stuff) and an amazing pizza. The pizza chef was also the waiter and the regulars that were there walked in the back to talk to the cook that was making the other food I imagine. Since I moved South, this is the Restaurant by which I measure the Italian places one finds down here...Even the fancy expensive ones fail to come up to this fine establishment's family style cuisine.
