Clams casino was excellent as was supreme pizza and bruschetta pizza. We ordered a white clam pie instead of clams casino. Not sure how they jammed that up but it was excellent. Ready in about 49 minutes and friendly folks here. We did takeout. Would probably order online next time so the order is correct but overall it was a very good experience. read more

Updated review: I've come to realize the specialty pizzas are the way to go at pizza box. The penne vodka pizza is so yummy. It's my go to pizza when I'm craving a pie. My daughter has declared that the cheese pizza the only one in the area she will eat. That's saying a lot since she is so picky about the cheese to sauce ratio on pizza. Service: even on a weekend, the pizza is quick to pick up which is another huge bonus. read more

Awful communication. I called to order food, she asked me to hold on for a minute and I said, "OK". Six minutes later I'm still on hold so I hang up and call back. Let me start by saying that I am a huge critic when it comes to pizza and for me is usually hard to find a pizza place that knows how to make a good pizza. The plain cheese pizza really shows how good the sauce and cheese and cook is. The grinders notably the meatball parm is awesome the sauce is great and the meatballs are perfect in texture and flavor the sauce to cheese is perfectly balanced. We decided to give this place a shot and what a nice surprise!! For $13.95 chicken Florentine dinner, you get tender chicken breasts on top of your choice of penne or linguini with a side salad and a fresh baked roll (dinner plenty enough for two people!) It was fantastic! Husband loved his eggplant parm dinner (10.95!) and couldn't finish it. Daughter devoured half of her chicken with broccoli as well and is saving rest for lunch tomorrow. Will definately think of this place for take out again and not even think of the others that are far more expensive nearby. We had a $3.00 off coupon when spending $30. I suppose the pizzas were good enough flavorwise, but I've never seen Sicilian pizza so super thin. Isn't that the opposite of the Sicilian pizza's defining characteristic? That basically makes it overpriced thin crust pizza. We opened the box and couldn't stop laughing. read more

The person at the front was mean and not helpful during my order and pickup process. I complained that they were over-charging relative to their advertisement, and they would not honor their advertised special. Finally, they "changed" the price on the two cheese pizzas after I complained, but then they over charged on a separate pizza with mushrooms (again, relative to their advertised pricing). The mushroom pizza tasted sour. Nobody liked it, and I worried that they may have done something to the pizza because I complained. Overall, the pricing is high and the pizza is not good at this place. Very disappointed. read more

I was trying this place for the first time. It's close and convenient on my way home from work. Ordered the Malibu chicken salad. When I got home I realized there was no chicken. Food Allergy people and parents beware. I have a FA child and always ask ingredients when getting food. I first called and then went in asking if the dough contained any of my sons allergies. Both times I was reassured no. Within minutes of consuming my son reacted which sent me into panic. My mother called the pizza box to ask ingredients again and specifically asked them to check their oil used and sure enough it contained one of my sons allergens. Very angry mother here read more

I have the slice app, so I decided to give these guys a try. The food was excellent but an hour wait for delivery when we are both located in Shelton a little ridiculous. Loved the food so ordered for a second time 2 grinders and an order of wings. Driver delivered after waiting an hour and order was missing a grinder. Decided to give it another try and once again order was missing another grinder. The quality of the food is excellent but the service is ridiculous. And to top it all off they didn't apologize let alone offer a credit for their poor service. Will never order from here again! Or recommend to anyone! read more
