We met our friends there for lunch & had no wait for a table. It was comfortable seating in a large booth. The menu is huge with everyone able to get what they wanted. Our waitress was wonderful, funny, & got everything right! My husband got the soup of the day which was sausage soup. I tried it & ended up eating it SO rich & flavorful. He & the other guy ended up ordering a bowl themselves. Then my girlfriend got a slice of pepperoni pizza & French fries, her husband had a Ruben Stromboli, my husband had a Royal sub, & I had Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp small order. Excellent service and very friendly staff. We went there when it was very busy. We ordered a pizza and I thought we got served really quickly for the amount of people in the place. Every table inside was taken and a few outside were taken also. We ordered a steak pizza and it was very good. I gave it 4 stars because pizza is funny. You like the one you grew up with or a special kind. This pizza was very good but not great. I will definitely go back here. The Italian dishes all coming from the kitchen looked and smelled delightful. I want to try one of them. But I wouldn't hesitate to order a pizza again. By the way I have eaten pizza in places like Giordono's in Chicago and Anthony's in New York City, Bocce's and the Real La Nova in Buffalo. So Julie's serves a good pizza at a great price. read more

As you enter Julie's and wait to be seated, you must check out the wide assortment of desserts displayed in the glass cooler in the corner (tiramisu was calling my name). Place was not noisy despite being crowded. Waitress seemed rushed but took our orders efficiently and returned shortly with some of the best tasting food I've had in a long time. I had a huge and delicious surf and turf salad (with tiramisu to go) and my dining companion had a most excellent calzone (he practically licked his plate). we were a senior citizen group of 15 people who made arrangements with Julie's for a dinner on Saturday August 10th. Our coordinator went in advance two weeks and spoke to the man that was in charge making a menu and time. He also went back and confirmed our arrangements a week in advance. We arrived at 5:00 and they directed us to their back room which was ready for us. Then the owner can over and said- we do not make a spacific menu for anyone and he did not know what we were talking about. As the conversation progressed he said-that guy you talked to doesn't work here!! Later he told us it was his son!!! And he knew nothing about the arrangement. I cannot express how poorly we were treated by the owner who more or less called us liars!!! We have dined there many times as a group before but this was unacceptable behavior by the owner and very poor business!!!! read more

I am changing my review. My previous review wat not flattering. Now it is. I expected a long wait for food - the place was packed. However, I had food in 20 minutes. Good food. The waitress was great with good speed and knowledge. Very nice. I ordered meatball parm. Loved it. Just the way you would imagine it. My girlfriend ordered the bambino (pizza). Lived here 29 years and been there 3 times order takeout once food was disgusting (chicken wings were raw )

I got a steak sub and bit right into a shrimp tail. Why was there cross contamination? I know plenty of people with shellfish allergies that could've literally died from that. Plus it was just a gross thing to bite into. Also, I got wings, they gave me a box with a hole in it and only ranch to dip them in. We are right next to Buffalo. You know bleu cheese is the standard right? Horrible experience. The sub bun was cheap quality. The overall taste was so-so. I haven't been to Julies in probably about 5 years but I recently ordered takeout from here. They were just as good as I remember. My go-to is always the walnut pear salad-- that dressing is amazing! And the chicken fingers because yes, I still eat like I'm 10. I swear they have some of the best chicken fingers I've ever had. I get mine just plain and dip them in honey mustard. The food might seem ok but this restaurant has many health code violations. First of all there is black mold in the soda dispenser and ice machine. Second they reuse ingredients that are left on customers plates. Third they do not wear gloves and touch food without washing their hands. The waitresses get harassed by the owners son Chris. He screams at them and threatens to take them off of full tips if they make a mistake or ask a question. read more

First time here, we new to this area, and looking for a go to pizza joint. I think we found it! We sat out side on the patio, beautiful spring day, a little noises from the traffic but hey- it's Main Street. I had the steak Pittsburgh salad- the greens were fresh and the steak was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The rest of the fam shared hot wings- they were really really good. The pizza was pretty good, nothing special. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat then this place isn't too expensive. Springville is a small town with limited options, so you get what you get. Growing up in Western NY, I have been going to Julies for years. A recent visit back to the old stomping ground had me munching on a delish chicken finger sub (which we don't have in AK) made exactly the way I like it....I am a bit picky and it wasn't a problem - they hooked me up. Service was great, prices are even better. My grandparents love Julies as well, which says a lot. I went here with two coworkers for lunch. We were given a recommendation to go here from someone who was more familiar with good lunch places to go to in Springville. I tried the Almond Tuna Sandwich. It was a delicious and unique take on a typical tuna melt. I loved it! Our table also tried an order of their B.G sticks and those were good too. The service was excellent and we were taken care of in a timely fashion knowing that we were only on a lunch break. I would definitely go here again for lunch or dinner. read more

The food at Julie's, aside from their pizza, is mediocre at best. The pizza is awful and always has been unless you happen to like excessive amounts of grease and not enough cheese. The service here is average, certainly nothing to get excited about. I can give Julie's two stars instead of one only because the prices are decent, it's clean and family friendly. Oh and there's a couple TV's on the wall, so you can keep tabs on the game. Being so famous, one would think this place would want to excel, but they don't and I've given up trying to figure out why.
