Very good dinner here during a vacation trip. Charming interior, a little old school. Jack was a terrific server, very professional and we were very impressed with how well he hustled to cover multiple tables keeping up with all of the details. We both had the trout, one baked, one fried and it was excellent. Entree came with a house salad and bread, the house Italian dressing was delicious and the bread had a terrific balsamic and herb dip. After weighing our options for places to eat in Bryson City we decided to give this place a try. HUGE MISTAKE! My wife ordered chicken alfredo which tasted like it had cinnamon in it. She took one bite and said she wasn't eating it (I also tasted it and agreed). I ordered the meat lasagna which was mediocre at best and a small portion for the price. They took my wife's meal off the bill but still tried to charge $7.00 for the very small salad that came with her meal. When I questioned the charge, the owner came out and was an absolute jerk about the situation. Never ever will I eat at this restaurant again or recommend it to anyone else. read more

The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is for the customer service. The house are different on the outside sign. The sign says lunch until 330 and then dinner at 330-10. However they were closed from 3-4 for a break. This place stays busy with people. The breadsticks were hot on the outside but cold on the inside. The oil for the bread would have been so much better if they left out the vinegar. It was so strong but the waiter got us extra butter. I got 2 appetizers but the order never got put in which was fine and the waiter apologized and was great. I got a salad with honey mustard dressing which more like goo and was not good. I switched for a Cesar salad and it just tasted dirty. I then tried the corn chowder and it was good but watery. I had the chicken cordon blu. It had very little flavor and I ended up getting sick after the chicken. The side of pasta literally tasted like ragú on noodles which was disappointing. The tortellini was okay but also watery. Lastly I got the tiramisu and the cannoli. The tiramisu was overpowered by the Hershey syrup on top. The cannoli was good inside but the shell tasted like a fried egg roll in old grease. The sauce tasted as if it came out of a can, and the bread was close to a hot dog role. This an opinion and I'm sure others may differ. However, the table besides us had to call the owner to complain that there was a human hair in their food. The owner is heard telling the customer that it must have come from the ceiling fan. Very kind customer service, beautiful place, and the food was fresh and so delicious! I got chicken fettuccine Alfredo and a salad with ranch, my husband and son shared a pep and cheese pizza and they both say it was the best pizza they've ever eaten! You can tell they really cook with love and care about using fresh ingredients. We went in with a party of 12 and were seated right away on a Sunday. Our waiter was great at listening and all of our meals were correct and came out tasting fantastic! Highly recommend! We will be back:) thank you! This is some of the worst food I've ever eaten in my life. I hate to say that, but they charge $32 for steak and prime rib and neither one had any flavor. Salads were not good and ceaser in particular was slimy. Calamari was freaking terrible, very slimy. Spaghetti was too sweet... probably canned tomato's. Crab cakes were unseasoned as well. Overall our party of 4 tried several things off the menu and barely ate a couple bites of each dish. Lack of seasoning was the main issue. Food quality overall was 4/10. read more

I have eaten at thousands of Italian restaurants and I would say this was the worst one ever. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars was the soup and salad were fine. The spaghetti had zero flavor and was overcooked. I returned it and the manager never came over to ask why. My wife had the Chicken Marsala that was overcooked and just weird. It had a sweet sauce on it that was clearly out of a can. I would not of even considered writing a bad review if the manager had simply taken the time to address us. It was pretty good, but not fantastic. The salad was yummy; however, my artichoke and mushroom pasta had way too much garlic-so much! I hardly ever send food back, but I just couldn't eat it. After only a few bites, I tasted garlic for a whole day afterwards. I tried my husband's salmon and the kid's chicken parmigiana, which were actually pretty delicious. We were dining close to closing time so they didn't offer me any replacements, but they took it off the bill, which was nice. From the start we met the young hostess when we came in, and she was to put it simply very rude! She would not answer any questions we had and acted as if she didn't have time for us and like we were bothering her. We discussed just leaving at that point just amazed with her demeaner. After a little wait we were seated and our waiter in a timely manner greeted us with a warm welcome and he was very quick to get our drinks and knowledgeable about menu. He answered all the questions about the restaurant and the menu. He took our order and from there on out he took control and we didn't have to ask for anything. He kept our cocktails full and he kept the food coming in perfect time. Everything we ordered from appetizers to desert was very delicious and truly Italian. We seen the owner making rounds around the dining room checking on everyone which is almost never seen anymore. Absolutely love this place! We were in town for the Polar Express and there weren't many restaurants open late. Thankfully Pasqualino's was and it did not disappoint!!! We had a friend recommend this place as well. As soon as you walk in the smell is phenomenal! Our server was truly the best we've ever had! They treated us like family and we felt at home. This is the best place in Bryson City to eat in my opinion. A long line but it really wasn't that long of a wait. The service was fantastic. Very nice ambiance.
