I stopped in at Ralph's Pizza recently and had one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! The white gourmet pizza was absolutely incredible -- perfectly crisp crust, just the right amount of cheese, and fresh toppings that really stood out. You can tell they use quality ingredients and care about their food. I also tried the chicken cheese steak my nephew ordered. It was packed with tender chicken, melted cheese, and seasoned perfectly. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even during the dinner rush. Received the wrong food and didn't even get an apology when we had to drive back to the restaurant. I wasn't offered a new sandwich, and I had to ask for a refund. The male owner was extremely rude and arrogant. There was apparently an "asshole list" created by an employee, of townsfolk whom she doesn't like, that come into the restaurant. Which would make anyone who knows about the list worried about possibly getting tampered with food or something. After seeing what was wrapped up and given to me today as my "order", which wasn't even the correct sandwich, it made me nervous/concerned that it may have happened to my food. When I tried to show the owners the horrible sandwich I received, and then also privately talk to and warn the new owners of the apparent list, the man told me to take my business elsewhere. Not an apology, not a thank you for warning them of the apparent list, nothing. We have been getting food from here for 30+ years, our family spends hundreds of dollars a month here. We are so sad that this happened today because we truly used to love this restaurant. We will never be returning to this establishment again. read more

Such a great small town pizza shop on Haddon Heights Main Street! There are so many cute walkable stores in this area. Pizza was good with super generous staff! The El Diablo pizza is my favorite on a Sicilian pie. My family has been ordering from Ralph's (eat in and take out) for as long as I have been alive and they have gotten at least 3 orders in the last few months incorrect, and I ordered last night and the fry container looked like it was picked through/halfway full of what it should be. I've heard good things about this place, so why my son was at karate across the street, I walked over and ordered dinner. It was 5:20 and I told them I wanted to pick up at 6:00. I walked in at 6, and they started handing me my fries & garlic knots, but my pizza wasn't ready yet. They didn't say how long, and we ended up standing there for 20 mins. So now my fries have been sitting in a bag on top of the oven for at least 20 mins. I should have asked for new ones, but I didn't have any more time to wait. Got home and the fries were terrible, cold and dried out. My pizza turned out to be half pepperoni when I only ordered 1/4 pepperoni. The pizza was good, but my experience was terrible. So darn good. The crust was thin, yet slightly doughy. It was crunchy, holding the sauce and cheese well. The sauce was tangy and sweet, without being overpowering. The cheese stayed on too. I appreciate that and hate when cheese slides off. The sauce/cheese ratio was solid. We also had crinkle fries. I haven't had those since I was a kid in the cafeteria. They were cooked perfectly and brought me back to my younger days. The restaurant itself was very clean! The aroma of delicious pizza hit you the minute you walked in and immediately you salivate. What is happening at Ralph's? Their pizza is fantastic, that is why I have been a customer for over 15 years, but within the last year (most pre-COVID), their service has been awful. Friday we called an ordered a pizza and was told 75-90 minutes. I arrived 80 minutes after placing the order and received my pizza that was on the cold side of lukewarm. Not the first time this has happened. They were not busy enough to warrant that length of wait time. I've also had my order given to another customer and have witnessed that happen to another patron. I was traveling back from Philly and needed to grab something to eat since I was going right to work. I reached out to my in-laws to see what they recommended in their area. Unfortunately, the places they suggested were closed on Mondays. So I decided to try this place out. I ordered a large Margherita pie. When I opened the box I immediately noticed that they put parsley on the pizza and not basil. I looked at their menu and it says "fresh herbs and spices" in the description of the pie. Since every Margherita pizza I've ever had included basil on that type of pie I was shocked to see parsley. I took one bite and spit it out. The flavor profile from the parsley made the pizza taste really weird. I contacted them and asked if they can make another pie for me since they put parsley on the pie. The woman on the phone said that is how they make their Margherita pie and can't make one with basil. On top of all that, their menu lists the price as $18.25 for a large but I was charged close to $23. ***Do NOT order a Margherita pie from them if you're expecting it to have basil** read more

Parking - Street parking out front, on Atlantic Ave or behind the restaurant (lot) Atmosphere - This pizzeria has been open since 1985. It is still old school 80's and hasn't changed much...you know, contoured red booth seating that his hard on the buttocks. Food - I have only had pizza here (numerous times). Although it is not my absolute favorite, it is solid! Thin/medium crust, good cheese-to-sauce ratio. The pizza slice can pass the one-handed pizza fold test, the cheese doesn't droop off the slice. The sauce isn't too sweet or too tart. The crust has a nice mix of doughiness w/ a little crunch to it. I like to order the crust well-done. My wife likes their famous Garlic & Tomato pizza while I prefer the plain. Pricing - Very reasonable. Seriously, can't beat it. Staff - Always friendly Suggestions/Complaints/Observations. They don't deliver pizza, that sucks. They do a booming takeout business, during prime-time weekday rush (5P-7P'ish) you can expect a long wait (even if you call ahead). I get this feeling they need a larger space, the staff always seems to be bumping into each other. The owner (Ralph) is always hands-on (that is a good thing) but sometimes he seems to be a little too hawk-eyed on the staff. I have seen him & his daughter butt heads (stressful). The waiting room area is small, located directly in front of the oven, it gets hot and you will feel that heat waiting for your pizza during the summer months. I have seen like 8 to 10 people waiting. I think Ralph's serves one of the best pizza's in the area (yes, I like it just as much as Angelo's in Haddonfield). read more

OH MY GODS. No one can make garlic knots like this place. Can I just say, even after tasting multiple garlic knots in new york, none can compare to Ralph's garlic knots. They're chewy with a light crunch on the outside and my favorite part is that, the tray of garlic knots is covered with olive oil, minced garlic, some minced chilies and whatever that minced green stuff is. (parsley? I cant tell). Most of the garlic knots I've seen are smothered with garlic powder. C'mon guys. No one should take garlic knots lightly. While this is the closest pizza joint to my house,I see it as roughly the equivalent of thousands of local nondescript pizza restaurants that abound in America. I tried it because its close to home. SO GOOD! The service was friendly and fast, which I loved at the get-go. The pizza came out piping hot and gooey with the right amount of crunch in its super thin crust. The proportions of sauce to cheese to crust were perfect, and I could have eaten a whole pie! My sister and I also shared 3 garlic knots, beware, SUPER GARLICKY! My mother had an Italian hoagie and thought it was absolutely delicious. This is a very modest restaurant with very nice Women at the front counter taking orders. The chef was busy making pizzas. And an older gentleman came out and talked about how long they've been in business and how good he knows his cheesesteaks taste. I will get one next time. The meat on my mother's hoagie was fresh and there was plenty of it. The bread was chewy and light and crispy on the outside. Just the way my mother liked it. There were Fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions and hot peppers along with seasonings and oil and vinegar. My mother is a very picky eater when it to comes hoagies. She rates the sandwich very very high. We were lucky to get parking as it was just prior to the lunchtime hour. There's two hour parking right out front for free. We ate on paper plates but that didn't matter. Now I had a slice of pizza and really it wasn't that remarkable to me. And fact I felt like the cross was way overcooked. And I had sausage which tasted OK. Nothing about the slice knocked me off my feet like the hoagie did for my mom. but I will say they were definitely patrons there that were enjoying their food! It looks like a great neighborhood restaurant. And if I'm in the neighborhood again I plan to stop back there. read more
