I tried their other location in Vienna and I loved it. Not sure if it was just the specific rolls I got this time, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Last time, I got the sushi boat and it was fresh and didn't have any overpowering sweet sauces on the rolls. I do not recommend the flamingo roll, which is what I ordered today. The inside had a mushy texture from the minced fish combined with tempura flakes. I also felt like there was too much going on with the mango bits and the jalepeno and the sweet sauce drizzled on top. The salmon avocado rolls were good. Overall, the rolls were okay, just not my cup of tea. I appreciate their creativity when it comes to the special rolls, though! Their presentation is always gorgeous, as well. On the road home for Christmas and was craving some Asian inspired food cause usually that's the only thing open on Christmas eve. Did a little research on yelp and found this gem right in the area I wanted to stop in. When I walked in they were pretty full with guests at their tables and a line of Togo orders. The server was super friendly and helpful with explaining the specials as well as explaining some of the menu items. I don't know about you but I have never had sushi rolls without rice but it is something that I will want from here on out! The rolls were sooo good, not to mention no rice leads to more filling of the good things. Since I wasn't that full I ended up get 2 pieces of salmon sushi, the Naruto roll (should have gotten this as an appetizer) and the Pink Sunshine Roll. The Naruto roll is meat rolled in cucumber as your "wrapper". Super light, reminding of sushi rolls if they could be a salad. The Pink Sunshine Roll was recommended by my server and she didn't disappoint. So freaking good! Never in a million years would I think that I would not need rice in my sushi roll. I like Passion Fin a lot. It's cute on the inside. And nice to be able to see the Chef's preparing orders. For me, usually being solo guest, I found the two chair tables a bit tight. Just my opinion. I like some elbow room. The service was exceptional during my visits. Everyone is patient and kind. Everyone happy to detail and recommend items on the menus. The food is really good. Can't remember the name of our sushi, a while back but yummy, it was. I absolutely loved the miso soup and the ginger salad. The crab Rangoon was also very good. (At other restaurants, I found it to be dull and flavorless). Here, it was so light and tasty. I was disappointed with the scallops hibachi. I like a bit of a sear on them and these did not have that. I felt they were a bit eh. No texture and only flavor was the sauce. Veggies and rice were good. They also give you really big portions. So big in fact, it was a bit eye goggling. I like to finish my dish. Finishing the dish is respectful and perfectly filling. Here, there is the same amount left over, as the amount I ate. Then I have to get a box. Today my box was leaking some of the sauce. Even through the plastic bag the box was placed in. I wish they had large or small options. That would prob have me order the veggie hibachi again but I don't think I will. Instead, I would like to come enjoy a small lunch of soup and salad with perhaps more crab Rangoon or a sushi roll of some sort. 4 stars for select menu items, service, and ambiance. read more

It's a small place with a nice menu, sushi is always solid and the chefs are very accommodating, with an allergy to sesame seeds - I have to be extremely clear and very careful. The chefs here take proper precaution and clean everything when preparing my order. I have watched them on several occasions, and the best part is they do so with a smile. First time coming here. Great fish quality, I especially liked the salmon. My friend and I ended up ordering the Sashimi dinner and 2 rolls, the sunset roll and godzilla. Sashimi was good, not a big fish variation though. We preferred the sunset roll over the godzilla. For the half hearted sushi fan, they have a full menu of Asian dishes from General Tso's chicken, to Pad Thai and everything in between. The menu offers plenty for even the pickiest eater! The service and professionalism is 1st class. All the servers are very friendly and helpful with recommendations. I've gone to PF for lunch and dinner and found both times to be crowded, but you don't have a long wait whether ordering sushi or hot entrees. Value: The food here is low value, in that it's very expensive for average / small portions. Food quality: The food here isn't spectacular. It's fairly average. They also are very bad at cooking steak. I've attached a photo of the raw steak they gave my 3 year old son, when we asked for medium. The well done steak that my grandmother got was also raw in the center. They are clearly not taking the time to thaw their meat and are trying to cook it while it's still very frozen. They replaced my sons food, after 20 minutes of waiting for our waiter, when finally the hostess noticed we needed some help. At one point someone on staff tried to disagree that it was just medium rare, but there is a huge difference between cooked pink steak (135 F) and red raw steak that hasn't been properly cooked. Service: which brings us to service. Our server was kind and competent, but they clearly had too many tables. She ordered the chicken hibachi and I ordered 2 rolls for myself. She enjoyed her hibachi, but the portion seemed a bit small to me for the price.
