I took a break after my nails were messed up a few times and having to return to fix lifted nails I saw they were under new management so I decided to give them another try the man who is doing nails rush left cuticle and placed the acrylic on my skin instead of my nails he realized i was getting annoyed so he passed the job on to someone who already had someone in her chair she came over I explained to her what I needed and how I can not have the acrylic seeping over and it will effect me wearing shoes he was able to remove all the cuticles and seeping acrylic reshape my name the right way and put their old gel polish on... as she was taking off the cuticles she was laughing because how much was left on and they bad acrylic job read more

Horrible experience. The OPI polish has sat on the shelf since last March and is all gunky and crusted. I checked several bottles. The salon is dirty. The people are rude; I witnessed a lady come in to complain and she was totally dismissed- "not my fault, your nail too long". The pedi was not thoroughly executed, a featherlight touch from the tech. To top it off, when I was ready to pay, I was told the cc machine was broken and was asked to VENMO THE OWNER!! I walked into the shop to get my nails done. No one even said good morning. They we're all looking at me crazy. She told me to pick a color. I said I want white French tips. I went to sit down and the lady that was about to do my nails looked mad and she said something to the other technician and she looked at me. I just got up and left. And, their credit card machine is still "broken"; the ATM they have in-store charges 2.75 for withdrawal. That said, They have a huge color selection, and my manicurist was both gentle and thorough while working on my nails and cuticles. Polish application was base coat, three thin layers of color, and a top coat. Looked great, put part of one nail peeled off after 6 days. (No hand soaking, doing dishes, or cleaning caused this to happen.). They did redo the one nail free of charge a week later. read more

She kept laughing and laughing. Manager came and said "No, she told you $40, you probably didn't hear her." Even though the manager wasn't there during this conversation. ALSO -- she didn't put on a base coat. I asked her why when she started painting my nails. She answered "too thick." The day after, my gel polish started to chip. I requested manicure pedicure quote at the salon and was told $75. I was charged $100 and told the machine wasn't working and had to pay cash. Technician applied clear coat after each color coat. I told her it was not correct but language barrier was a problem. The owner was rude. Nails started to peal off 2 days later. First off hands. And then off toes. I called the salon and the owner said no refund but she would reapply. I drove almost 30 min and walked in and owner was already angry with me. She cursed at me and barked orders at the technician. The technician applied manicure but would not reapply toenail without charge. I asked why and they were just cursing all over. Awful service. Incompetence and lack of respect and conflict resolution. After posting the owner replies they fixed issue. Not true - she had tech doing manicure but told me I had to pay for feet. Not an agreement we had over the phone. So this is gel application that literally peeled off 2 hours after the reapplication. I have event tomorrow and my regular salon reached to me and stated that some salons mix the product with acetone which makes it just rubbery... what a scam. Was referred to this place by my sister who told me to see Paige. Paige did my nails and it was fantastic. The dip lasted three weeks so I was happy to go see her again. I called and was told to come in a few hours that same day to see her. When I got there Paige soaked off my nails but I was then pawned off to another woman who was awful while Paige saw other clients. She didnt take her time, knicked me with her e-file because she was moving so fast, and basically dismissed my allergies to certain chemicals. In three days, one of my nails completely broke off. This salon was able to take my sister and I as walk-ins after another salon nearby, Iris Nails, was not accepting walk-Ins in a Saturday because they were completely booked. We were greeted and was taken care of immediately. I'm shocked on the negative reviews! My nail technicians, Tina and Paige, were great. Tina was very gentle with the pedicure. They offer red/white wines, water and mimosas. Paige gave me the exact shape I wanted,ballerina, on my real nails and fixed two broken nails. They also have a large selection of sns. I told my tech I wanted narrow nails, she said it's coffin shape and it's an extra $5 (suddenly all their shapes are an extra $5, ridiculous!) I have been going to Passion off and on for years, but I was left speechless by the homophobia that we encountered here today. I booked appointments for myself and two gay friends, as I have before. When they arrived, the shop they said there would be a delay for one of them to wait for a tech to open up. We found it odd since we had booked a day in advance. It was only after the last mani finally started (almost an hour later) did we learn the reason for the delay was that we failed to indicate at time of booking that two of the customers were males. So the shop unknowingly scheduled one of them with a male tech who - upon seeing them enter - refused to work on them because they were male. We were told that we should have indicated our genders when we made the appointments so they could have scheduled the "right" technicians. SERIOUSLY?!? We were supposed to inform the shop NOT to schedule us with their homophobic tech?? Believe me, that's no problem - we won't be scheduling any more appointments here. PERIOD. If you choose to provide selective service to my gay friends, we will choose never to come back again. read more

I got gel on 12/30 as I was traveling to NY for NYE. I only get one hand done and wherever I go I pay $15-$20 but at this place I paid $40 FOR ONLY ONE HAND!! I was so furious but I still tipped. I come back almost a week later (Friday, January 6) and they fixed them for free. On Saturday (next day) my nails are ruined as well.
