We stumbled across this place and decided to try. It's small so it's easy to look past with so many other food options at the farmers market at the grove. 15 out of 10 recommend! Probably the best pasta we've had. We had the truffle pasta and added chicken and the pink sauce? Pasta I can't remember the exact name but it had pink sauce (pictured below) I added pancetta to mine. We also had the garlic bread. Everything was AMAZING including the service even though it's a small spot. Pasta made fresh! We would make the drive though 405 traffic to go back for this pasta! read more

My niece is visiting us from Switzerland . Today she had ordered food, and the order was not correct, my niece has dietary issues. The staff was not only rude.. they did not attempt to fix the order. My niece ended up sick shortly after this. The staff however did do something , they ended up talking about her behind her back in Spanish , they even said to add more of the ingredient , knowing that she asked to have it removed, but to their surprise the staff did not know that my niece is fluent in Spanish . My niece heard everything they said about her, she heard them say add more of that ingredient . It wasn't very nice of them and certainly not what I would expect of this restaurant. Unfortunately it is way overpriced. $25 for a pasta dish and $8 for bottled iced tea (no refill) is too much for a farmer's market casual non-full service eatery. I've been going to LA Farmers Market for over 20 years, since I was just a college student, and many of the food stands have been there serving the same dishes year after year. My wife read about Pasta Corner and their black truffle pasta dish and so we headed out just to check out this newish Pasta food stand. And truly, they're a food stand -- smaller than the other purveyors, its amazing how they can craft fresh pasta and cook up their dishes in that little booth. They did not get their shipment of truffles from Paris that week so we couldn't try the black truffle pasta but we did order the Black Ink Squid Tagliatelle and Beef Ragu Pappardelle. The pasta dishes were really good -- like what I expect in a fine dining restaurant. Will definitely be going back to get the Black Truffle one next time. read more

I was in a hurry and I asked what they had in a pink sauce they recommended Lumache Pink Vodka Sauce. It was incredible and had a bit of a spicy kick. I was honestly really excited to try this place after seeing that it was newly open at the corner of Farmers Market. There was a bit of a line so I decided to try this place out to see how good the food was. We got the garlic bread, Lumache Pink Vodka Sauce pasta and Tagliatelle Alle Vongole, and our total came out to be about $55. This place is NOT cheap!! It's honestly about the same price range as North Italia, but nowhere near fancy. The pink vodka sauce pasta was pretty good and the portions are nice, however, the Tagliatelle was really salty which was a bummer after seeing such great reviews about this place. The staff is friendly, and I really wanted to love this place but just didn't see the hype. There are so many other great pasta/Italian options in LA that I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're already at Farmers Market and really hungry for some pasta. Even then, I'd rather have gone to Pampas Grill instead since that place always hits the spot and is never more than $15 a plate. Hard pass for me! read more

The situation in the kitchen seemed chaotic, and everyone's order was coming out very slowly. It took them 40 minutes to prepare the dish, and they seemed overwhelmed. My cousin and I decided to go on a little excursion to the grove. We were incredibly starved as we had not broken our fast in the morning and we decided to look around for a spot to extinguish our hunger. We discovered the farmers market and with our delight we were presented with numerous amounts of food options. We looked and looked but nothing caught our eye. At the brink of defeat we found happiness just around the Corner with this place. We were greeted with the most friendly staff, helping us with our horrid pronunciation of the dishes and they even complimented our outfits which made our day. I ordered the Spaghetti Algio Olio with lemon, and when I tell her my tastebuds had never before encountered such excellence. My cousin decided to nickname me "Oppenheimer" because the way I split the mere molecules of this dish to gather every morsel in my mouth was deserving of a war crime. ofOlive Garden wishes they could replicate a mere fraction of the dining experience that the Pasta Corner provides. 10/10 would recommend read more

Loved this place. Just drove in from Scottsdale and was lucky to find the Pasta Corner. Fresh homemade pasta cooked to order by a very friendly staff. We tried the Cacio e Pepe which was amazing. Perfectly cooked al dente and just the right sauce to pasta ratio. Maybe a traditionalist might complain about the addition of ingredients not found in a Cacio e Pepe dish but I loved it, sometimes you have to break the rules just for fun. We just happened to be there when the owner was present and told him how much we loved his place. Only problem is that we live 6 hours away, if not for that we would be in at least once a week. read more
