Finally decided to give this place a try after passing by it the last few times I've been here. Plus, I was on a Sundate with my wife, so I had my lil big back partner with me to experience it with! I'll be real with y'all, I was a little hesitant to try Pasta Corner because it was pretty pricey for what you get. Wife and I said screw it, let's give it a try. For having zero expectations it was honestly a solid bowl of pasta. I looove pasta and clams, so naturally I wanted to try the tagliatelle alle vongole. The pasta was perfectly al dente, sauce was flavorful and had body to it. However, it was a little bit on the salty side even for me whose palate leans pretty strongly towards salty. The clams were good. Nothing off about them and no gritty surprises either. If/when I find myself out in this part of LA again, I'd definitely try their other offerings. The Pappardelle Pesto Burrata ($22) has a surprisingly light pesto sauce that was really nice over the thick noodle, a splash of basil and the burrata! Oh~em~gee~the burrata! I live for cheese and as an aficionado of the white gooey ball that is burrata, I do declare this a real good one! I would get this dish over and over again. I actually have gotten it twice already, lol. Spaghetti with meatballs was good, but with others that were amazing, I'd skip it. Pasta Corner has some coupons through their app, too! My daughter loved the pappardelle noodles which are basically like double-wide fettuccine and my son liked the rigatoni. We got the three meatballs, but neither kid really ate them because of how they were spiced. My daughter got the pesto, but they were out of the burrata (which she wouldn't have liked, but I would have), so gave us a mozzarella ball instead. I'm very picky about my pesto and make my own at home regularly and this pesto wasn't disappointing, but was a bit thin and not as garlicky as I like. It also took ~5 minutes longer for the pasta to come out than it took to walk over, order Asian noodles and get the Asian noodles. The past was also quite pricy with it being $40-50 for two pasta bows and meatballs. Overall a sold 4-star. read more

I just wanted to know the pasta price plus $6 for truffle added. I finally just gave her my credit card so she can stop crying. Weird experience and disappointed that customer service was not the best by the cashier. If cashier was confused about "itemized bill" she should've asked the manager to help instead of having me wait and wait.
