The pizza here is great! I love the oils they provide as well. I really needed a slice of pie after my date with a dud. I met a guy on Tinder and he suggested we go see a show at the Groundlings Theater. I love comedy! Well unfortunately the guy was a nerd and the show was boring- nothing like Kill Tony. That whole place blows. They kicked me out for having fun and yelling stuff out and joining in on the comedy. I don't understand what that place even was. I'm not reviewing that place though. After me and the nerd I accidentally went on a date with got kicked out, we were trying to figure out what to do next. He was actually taking their side for kicking us out, so I was like "whatever". I asked him if he wanted to get some white claws at the 7 eleven to drink while we walked up Melrose to find a bar, but he had to go home to his mommy I guess. I bought a white claw at the 7 eleven any way and chugged it in the parking lot. I saw Heirloom Pizza up the way so I went over there to get a slice to lay a foundation in my gut before I hit the bars. The pizza was so good for real. I had a BBQ chicken slice and a spicy vodka slice and they were both amazeballs. I put some of the spicy oil on the slices too and it was fire no pun intended. I will definitely come back to this place, hopefully next time with a hunk who likes to have fun and not a nerd who gets his diaper dirty when his date vapes inside of a cornball comedy show and gets kicked out. read more

The Signature Pizza arrived swiftly after ordering online. The staff accurately fulfilled our orders. The pizza had instructions on the box on how to warm it up. I really enjoyed the Supreme, we didn't request for anything extra on top and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. While it wasn't world-class and unique, it fell into the level of comfort and familiarity. If you're a huge fan of C*stco pizza and felt a bit heartbroken with the unrequited love for their supreme pizza, this is MUST try. 5/5 would get again! On the second round, we ordered Melrose. This one didn't impress us as much as the impact was weaker. Personally I added additional seasoning to bring more oomph to the pizza flavor, but this is one of those that you can't go wrong with a crowd and great for customizing. Overall: I ended up finding this place since I was hungry and was passing by walking. This is one of the best pizzas I've had and would definitely come back again. I wanna try the other types of pizza they have! The Service: Staff taking our order was very friendly and answered any questions we had. This is a counter restaurant so you would walk in and order at the counter and they would serve your food. The Food: We ordered the supreme pizza which can feed 4 people (2 slices per person) which I feel like it was pretty accurate unless someone is super hungry. The supreme pizza was amazing - it was filled with so many toppings but not too many where it made the pizza soggy. The pizza is made fresh - we saw the person in the back making our pizza when we ordered it - and it didn't take long either. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy and it held the sauce well. It was very well balanced. Price: $30 ish per pizza; about $5 a slice. I think it's super reasonable for the quality of pizza that you get. I would definitely pay this price for this pizza. The Atmosphere: Counter restaurant with some seating - not recommended if you have a large group since space is limited. Parking: Street parking only. This is an update. Honestly, I can't even remember ordering from here three years ago, but I guess I was impressed but not necessarily wowed. Well, recently I've been on the hunt for a true marinara pizza (all sauce, zero cheese), and I need look no further. They make a gorgeous thin- crust marinara, dotted with shaved garlic. It's a perfectly executed pie that tastes like the tomatoes were plucked from the vine this morning. It didn't hold its heat on the very short drive home, but that's probably bc it's such a thin and simple pizza without any insulating properties to hold in heat. Regardless, with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of parmesan and red pepper flakes, it's a simple and guilt-free masterpiece. read more

Loved this pizza spot, may be my favorite pizza EVER- it is just off melrose ave so we decided to stop in while walking around and shopping. We just got one burrata slice initially and were so impressed that we decided to try two more slices immediately after! The pizza crust bottom is so perfectly crispy and it holds its shape very well. While it is simple at first glance, the sauce and cheese are the perfect balance of sweet, acidic, and salty which makes for a perfect bite every-time. The burrata also adds a delicious layer of creaminess too. The spicy margherita was just as good! They heat up the slices when you order and it only takes ~5 minutes to get your food. They do have an off-menu option for detroit style pizza that seemed intriguing, but we didn't end up getting that. We also tried their house made ranch which is like a citrus zesty ranch that paired well with the pizza, but it doesn't need it at all - especially since the ranch is a bit more expensive at $2 a cup. read more

Was searching for my go-to pizza place in my neck of LA and I think I finally found it. Granted I've only ordered delivery so I've never had the true restaurant experience. However, this place serves up pies just the way I like them: thin, a little bubbly, but perfectly crispy. Despite being a thinner slice, the crust never gets soggy and it keeps its shape well. I personally love the Melrose, a margherita pie topped with garlic and hot honey (I get an extra side of hot honey). Soooooo good, I can finish off an entire pie by myself, crust and all. If they're all as good as the Melrose, then I definitely need to start experimenting with some of their other signature pizzas! read more

The crunch was made to perfection. We ordered the amazing Burrata and Pepperoni pizza's. The burrata cheese was my favorite. It has a classic cheese base topped with fresh burrata, basil, a drizzle of hot honey, and extra virgin olive oil. The little drizzle of hot honey and basil is the icing to this delectable pizza. It also tastes like they sprinkle a pinch of salt which gives it a perfect balance and rounds it all off. The pepperoni was also very good but I definitely prefer the burrata. I definitely will be back! I consider myself a great judge of pizza and this place I honestly is one of the best in Los Angeles. I often make my own dough so I can respect a good pizza. I would say the margherita is great! Most don't realize how difficult it is to make good dough and this place has got it down. Typically fresh pizza loses something when you take it togo. Luckily I don't live to far and their pizza lost nothing. I placed an order via their website and it was ready faster than expected. That's good and bad, you don't want your order be ready too early as the food can get cold. But luckily even though I picked up the the pizzas 10 minutes after the ready text, the pizzas were still hot when I got home. The person who I picked up the food from was nice so I'm sure service would be great for dine in. The restaurant looks great so I'm surprised the place isn't packed. Parking isn't the easiest but it's doable. It's worth searching for a spot and parking a few blocks away if you have to. Some might consider it a little pricey but to us it's was worth it, Maybe a few bucks less and it wouldn't be an issue. My ratings: 5 Stars - Amazing food and experience. Must try 4 Stars - Good and will go back but it wasn't the best or perfect. 3 Stars - Meh, Nothing special. 2 Stars - Horrible experience, no one should go here. 1 Stars - How is the place even open. read more
