This is a hidden gem in the Beverly area! I had driven by many times and finally gave it a shot. Safe to say I'll be back. Loved the ciabatta bread as it was served with some olive oil drizzle on top. Pasta was al dente and I enjoyed the meat sauce of the bolognese a lot. The burrata on top of the pasta is an absolute must. The burrata was fresh and easy to break apart. We also spread it over the bread and it was chefs kiss. Service was great and honestly the prices are very affordable, especially compared to a lot of the restaurants in the area. I can imagine this place being great for lunch too. It's a cute little shop right by the Grove so after a ton of walking this is such a nice spot to just sit inside and people watch. We came here on a rainy day in LA, and sitting inside while looking out the window and enjoying our lunch was truly such a treat. This review is for my first experience at Burrata House. BH came highly recommended by friends and colleagues so I chose to go there one day for lunch. Ordered from their site for pickup then took the food back to the office. I don't know about you but my pesto shells does not look like the pictures from other yelpers or on the site. =P The pasta was cooked harder than al dente and the pesto sauce, though flavorful, was barely there. Because it was a to-go order, the burrata that I paid extra for was in an individual package, separate from my food. The burrata wasn't as creamy as I thought it would be. It did not ooze out when I cut into it and it was similar to being one big mozzarella ball. I am not crossing out BH just yet. I am going to assume that it was just an off day and will try again, this time eating at the location. My coworker/friend loved her dish (Amatriciana) and I love the price point. The place is small but there are a few tables. It is bright with lots of sunlight and airy. Great customer service from the interaction I got with pick-up. My sister and I were in the area and I was craving some pesto. We Yelped around and we found Burrata House had tasty lookin' pesto pasta plate, so we decided to drop in. The restaurant has a really nice modern look to it. Lots of clean white tiles and hardwood table tops with potted succulent plants to provide that nice pop of green. It was a very aesthetically pleasing design to complement the fabtalian food. The restaurant is counter service and Ricardo, the person on shift at the time of our visit, was very friendly and attentive to us. He was able to provide many recommendations and he answered all of our questions of what certain menu items included. We ended up ordering the pesto (of course) with burrata, the salmon burrata salad bowl, and the truffle Parma and burrata sandwich... It was a whole lotta burrata. And everything was so good and deliciously cheesy. The sandwich and the pesto pasta were the definite stars of the meal, and each ball of burrata that topped everything perfectly complemented each dish. No one does burrata like Burrata House! Every single dish has a huge ball of burrata in it! The outside of the burrata is a mozzarella and has the perfect springiness. The inside is a nice creamy blend of stringy stracciatella and cream. You can get burrata in a panini, bowl, pasta, or plate. While I love their pastas, I recently discovered their plates! A great option if you're looking for more of a charcuterie style meal with just meat, cheese, and some dressed arugula. I also love their Gourmet Bowl options like their Umbro Bowl. It's a little pricier than their regular bowls, but the truffle spread is worth it! It also comes with prosciutto crudo di Parma, caramelized onions, heirloom cherry tomatoes, arugula, farro, and topped with white balsamic dressing, EVOO, and salt and pepper. So many tasty ingredients packed into one bowl! Parking can be a little tricky at this location, but there is metered street parking. I LOVE burrata!!! A burrata house????? YASSS please!!! I ordered a bowl with tomato, farro, grilled onion (or were they caramelized?), arugula and other stuff. It was pretty darn tasty. Apparently they make their truffle sauce that goes on top. I'm not sure if it's REAL truffle but ... that's what's they call it. I took my gown to go. The burrata was separated in its own little pre packed container to help keep the salad fresh until I was ready to enjoy. I thought the veggies and ingredients were all fresh. The burrata was creamy and delicious. Since I ate my bowl at home, I had some balsamic glaze that I put on top. The truffle sauce was decent but I'm partial to a sweeter, balsamic flavor with my burrata. It went well with all the other veggies too. It was gooooooood. I enjoyed it. Would I return??? Ummmmmmmmm....I guess I can't say I'd run back but it was nice to try. OH! It also had prosciutto which was tender and very delicious. I give Burrata House a rating due to the inability to order on line, which takes you to incentivio, but when you tap on it, it's a blank page. So I called the number and followed the prompt to connect me to the west hollywood location, and the call goes directly voice mail which then tells you that the voice mail is not accepting messages because the mailbox is not yet activated. So I drove to the location and explained the issue with the online page and the phone. The person working said that they've never heard the phone ring, and seem unconcerned when I brought it to their attention. Slight pause when I had to ask if I can order. Despite this inconvenience, the pastas are delicious, and the burrata rich & creamy. I stopped by Friday around 11 and greeted and helped by the sweetest worker (I thought she said her name was Sal but my receipt said Samantha (Sam) so the girl whose name starts with an S lol!) She offered great recommendations and started working on my order right away. I ordered the bolognese pasta as well as the caprese and umbro paninis, and a limonatta to drink. The pasta was my least favorite but not that it was bad at all! The pasta itself was the only downside as it was a bit undercooked, not quite al-dente and a bit tougher than it could've been. But the bolognese itself was delicious with a slight kick but it tasted so home-y and authentic. The burrata on top was creamy, fresh, and delicious too! The paninis though - always my favorite - were phenomenal! I love that they toast the bread first because if you've tried to "melt" burrata say for a grilled cheese or pizza, you know it won't turn out good, so you really want that counter of warm to cold ingredients. The bread is crusty and toasty, and both paninis have a generous amount of rich, creamy, soft and delicious burrata! The caprese is fresh, vibrant, and light, the pesto isn't salty and adds an extra layer of freshness with nuttiness.
