    Truffle Cream Pasta

$15 for dry flavorless noodles! I've had better pasta come out of a can. Horrible! The only thing worse than the deplorable service that Antonello served up. No one was at the counter when I came in and he peak around the corner from the back still chewing his lunch...said nothing and disappeared. I ordered from the digital touch screen. He never said a word. Needless to say I won't be coming back !!

I've lived in the neighborhood for several years but I didn't realize the Burrata House was so close because it's tucked away on a side street off 3rd. I'm glad I discovered it because they have great pastas and sandwiches. It's a perfect place to grab and go for a picnic or fast lunch/dinner. I ordered the Pomodoro pasta with (of course) burrata and it was just what you'd expect and good. If anything I wish there was more burrata because it tasted so fresh. The pasta tasted like it came from a box, nothing standout but solid. Will come back and try the sandwiches in the future. Parking can be difficult here depending on the time of day so it's probably best to order ahead for pickup.

This place is mostly a Uber eats DoorDash type of deal even though they do have a couple seats outside if it feels rushed, and the food is not all that great. I had a Panini with two types of proteins and eggplant. I was expecting some delicious out of the ordinary burrata , because it is called the Burrata house . It's was not at all satisfying. My partner has the pasta with red sauce. It was plain Jane nothing extra extraordinary or unique from this place. I was pretty disappointed. You can only pay with card not cash not many options on drinks either. I would not recommend this place.

Good for lunch. This place is full of sunlight and there is also an angel spot for photos! Food is average. I ordered: 1. BH-olognese - Eat like an Italian! 2. Truffle parma & burrata panini - sandwich

Great sandwiches and burrata cheese! The bread is amazing and the ingredients are fresh. Pricing is affordable as well. Would definitely recommend for lunch

As a Burrata lover, I was so excited to visit Burrata House. The store itself was simply divine, filled with Burrata themed decor and natural lighting. It's a rather small store and was completely empty on a Monday afternoon. No complaints about the service since you order at the cash register when you are ready. I got the Burrata caprese panini, a vegetarian option. My order was ready super quickly, and I was eager to try it. The sandwich was so good! The Burrata was fresh and creamy. The ciabatta bun had an airy and light texture. The tomatoes provided a fresh taste, a contrast to the rich pesto. While the sandwich had simple ingredients, every part of the sandwich worked in harmony, resulting in a delicious bite! I'm eager to come back here and try some of pasta and grain salad bowl options. If you're a Burrata fan, check this place out!

If you're looking for a quick and easy lunch, then head to Burrata House. It's a cute little shop right by the Grove so after a ton of walking this is such a nice spot to just sit inside and people watch. We came here on a rainy day in LA, and sitting inside while looking out the window and enjoying our lunch was truly such a treat. Javier was running the shop, and he was so kind he recommended that we split a panini and then share a pasta and side salad. We got the bolognese, the truffle panini and caprese salad it was all more than enough to share between two people. The truffle panini was my absolute favorite, and I can't wait to go back for it!

    Joanne wasn't wrong.

Justice for Joanne! "I thought prosciutto was just fancy beef..." Erin & Co. could add this shop to the 2nd season of "Nobody Wants This," just sayin'. IYKYK Speaking of: I didn't *love* the beef version. It wasn't too salty, but a funky salty, if you will. The local produce and fresh bread are divine, however, so moving forward I'm down to try all the other versions of this shop's panini. Great service, too!

This review is for my first experience at Burrata House. BH came highly recommended by friends and colleagues so I chose to go there one day for lunch. Ordered from their site for pickup then took the food back to the office. I don't know about you but my pesto shells does not look like the pictures from other yelpers or on the site. =P The pasta was cooked harder than al dente and the pesto sauce, though flavorful, was barely there. Because it was a to-go order, the burrata that I paid extra for was in an individual package, separate from my food. The burrata wasn't as creamy as I thought it would be. It did not ooze out when I cut into it and it was similar to being one big mozzarella ball. I am not crossing out BH just yet. I am going to assume that it was just an off day and will try again, this time eating at the location. My coworker/friend loved her dish (Amatriciana) and I love the price point. The place is small but there are a few tables. It is bright with lots of sunlight and airy. Great customer service from the interaction I got with pick-up. I will update this review when I return.

Truly delicious burrata, and a generous amount of it too! They call their sandwiches Paninis because "panino" in Italian is sandwich, so if you are looking for an Americanized panini this is not it. I do wish the bread had been toasted or heated in some way, it would've taken the sandwich to the next level. They have a wonderful build your own option with delicious topping. Did take a while to get our food, but we did order four sandwiches.

My sister and I were in the area and I was craving some pesto. We Yelped around and we found Burrata House had tasty lookin' pesto pasta plate, so we decided to drop in. The restaurant has a really nice modern look to it. Lots of clean white tiles and hardwood table tops with potted succulent plants to provide that nice pop of green. It was a very aesthetically pleasing design to complement the fabtalian food. The restaurant is counter service and Ricardo, the person on shift at the time of our visit, was very friendly and attentive to us. He was able to provide many recommendations and he answered all of our questions of what certain menu items included. We ended up ordering the pesto (of course) with burrata, the salmon burrata salad bowl, and the truffle Parma and burrata sandwich... It was a whole lotta burrata. And everything was so good and deliciously cheesy. The sandwich and the pesto pasta were the definite stars of the meal, and each ball of burrata that topped everything perfectly complemented each dish. So I would definitely recommend trying out Burrata House if you're feeling cheesy, and don't forget to check in on Yelp to get a sweet offer while it lasts!

Burrata House is a small and casual sandwich place. It's mostly takeout but there's a few chairs to sit. I tried the caprese sandwich, which was just ok. Nothing special. The bread didn't taste fresh and it was pretty pricey too. Overall not sure it was worth it, there are other sandwich places in this area.

The pasta is all handmade, and you can genuinely taste the difference in both quality and flavor. The noodles have that fresh, slightly chewy texture that packaged pasta just does not have, and everything tastes carefully made rather than mass produced. The bolognese is spectacular: deep, rich, meaty, and comforting without feeling overwhelmingly heavy. It is the kind of dish that makes you slow down because every bite is worth paying attention to. The salads are also surprisingly substantial. The chopped salad, in particular, is a generous portion and packed with flavor, so it feels like a real part of the meal instead of an afterthought. Save room for the tiramisu, which is very good: creamy, balanced, and a great finish after the richer pasta. The only downside is the ambiance. The interior is tiny, so when it gets busy it can feel hectic and cramped. Still, the service is amazing, friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient despite the limited space inside.

We came here around 1PM on a Sunday and the place was completely empty. The staff up front checked us in, sat us down, and guided us through the menu so we knew what was going on. The menu here has some chicken wings, sides, and other random things, but the unlimited pasta for $13.99 is what we were interested in checking out. Basically, they have a list of different pastas to choose from and if you want things like chicken or meatballs added, it can be for some extra money. Now, I wasn't about to spoil the $13.99 deal so I figured I was about to crush five or six plates of pasta, but come to find out, I was lying. I started off with a plate of the RIgatoni & Marinara and plate came out on literal fire. The pasta was super fresh and actually tasted really, really, really good. After crushing the first place, my confidence was up so I figured I would give the Smokey Chipotle Penne and it was even better then the first dish. The sauce had a little bit of a kick to it, but the flavour was so good I almost ordered it again.....almost. Come to find out, two plates of pasta was the most I was able to finish and I tapped out. Overall, Pasta Amore was a super fun time and definitely a place I could see returning to in the future. The vibes here were solid, the staff was very friendly, and the pasta wasn't just all you can eat, it was actually pretty good.

We originally…read morewanted to try another restaurant, but it was completely booked, so we looked for somewhere new to explore. Met Him At A Bar seemed like a good option, and one of my girlfriends made a reservation for four. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM. I street-parked and walked to the restaurant, where one of my friends was waiting outside. I asked why she wasn't sitting at our table, and she told me that our table was right by the entrance. She didn't like that spot and thought the tables farther inside looked much more comfortable and cozy. Since people were sitting at one of those tables, she wanted to wait until they left. Personally, I thought the table by the entrance was perfectly fine, but I was also STARVING! Another friend arrived and also disliked the table, so we decided to wait. After a while, I was getting way too hungry, so we sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and drinks while waiting. I first ordered the Garlic Shrimp and asked if it was spicy. I was told it was, so I asked if they could make it without the spice because I can't eat spicy food. He said he would check with the kitchen, but since I was starving and it sounded like it might take too long, I changed my order to Garlic Bread. One of my girlfriends ordered a glass of wine, and since she had made the reservation and gone through the trouble of arranging everything, I treated her to the wine and garlic bread. Then, of course, our friend who is ALWAYS late arrived about 30 minutes late! By then, the rest of us had already decided what to order from the Dine LA menu. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible, so we ordered different items and shared everything. When our late friend arrived, we ordered his dishes separately. For the first course, we had Caesar Salad, Bruschetta, and Meatballs. For the second course, we ordered Rigatoni Vodka, Cacio e Pepe, and Margherita Pizza. For dessert, everyone ordered Tiramisu. Overall, I thought the food was good. My favorites were the Bruschetta, Meatballs, Rigatoni Vodka, and Tiramisu. The Cacio e Pepe was not my favorite because I thought they used way too much black pepper, and my other friends agreed. Our group had mixed reactions overall. Except for one person, the other two felt the food didn't quite live up to their expectations and were somewhat disappointed. But everyone's taste is different, so I completely understand. Considering how expensive everything has become these days, I thought the Dine LA price was pretty reasonable. It was $45 per person, and with tax and tip, it came to $60 each. For that price, I thought the amount of food and the overall experience were pretty good. I also really appreciated how friendly and attentive all the staff members were. I usually don't drink alcohol, and especially when I'm driving, I NEVER drink--not even a sip. That has been my personal rule for decades. So I just ordered water, and I loved how the staff kept coming by and refilling my glass whenever it got low. I drink a LOT of water, so I really appreciated their attentiveness. Now, about parking: valet parking is $17. I decided to street-park instead. One of my friends also street-parked, but unfortunately she got a parking ticket and was VERY upset. I had originally found a spot where a sign said a parking permit was required, so I decided not to take the risk and moved my car. Before leaving, I asked a man walking his dog if it was okay to park there. He said he had seen many cars parked there and they had been fine, but I still didn't trust it because the sign clearly said permits were required. I told him, "I don't think that's allowed." He was very nice and suggested going about three blocks farther, where there was plenty of street parking without a permit. I followed his advice and parked there. Unfortunately, my friend who stayed in the permit-only spot ended up getting a ticket. Another friend parked in the parking structure across the street and said it cost $18. Since I had parked farther away and didn't want to walk alone at night, I asked him to drop me off at my car after dinner, and he kindly did. So my parking recommendation is to use the $17 valet or street-park about three blocks away where no permit is required. I definitely would NOT recommend parking in the permit-only spaces unless you want to risk getting a ticket. One of the funniest things about this neighborhood is the restaurant names. The restaurant we went to is called "Met Him At A Bar," and literally right across the street is "Met Her At A Bar." There's also another restaurant called "The Night We Met." I have to say, the names are pretty creative and definitely make this neighborhood more fun! Overall, we had a fun evening together, and for $60 per person including tax and tip, I thought it was a pretty decent Dine LA experience.

Luckily our group had about 6-8 people so we were able to try quite a bit of the food. Glapponese - Ground pork, garlic, bacon, soy sauce for pasta. Very strong umami in this. It's for when you'd like a simple pasta with meat and nothing too overpowering. Tarako - Cod roe and nori. This is another simple pasta when you'd like something with a strong salty flavor but want to mostly enjoy the texture of the pasta, which was soft and chewy btw. If you want a familiar Japanese flavor, this is the one to order Carbonara - A very familiar pasta in case you want to stay on the safe side. They still make it very delicious and creamy if you're in a simple mood for an Italian style pasta Keema Curry - This is where you start going for a more complex taste for your pasta. If you can't decide if you want an Italian or Japanese pasta, combine the tastes with pasta in curry Service I feel can be a bit more attentive. When they sat 6 of us down first, there were only 5 settings, so it seemed pretty natural to bring us a sixth set of utensils. But when we realized they missed it, we ended asked them. Not a big deal. But when our remaining two friends came, they sat them with us and brought out only 1 set of utensils, so we had to ask for it again. Just a small detail that had me a bit confused during the experience, but the food itself was great and we'd love to come back when they reopen

Street parking only, which can be kinda tough in this neighborhood. What we tried: - Baby gem lettuce caesar - with parmigiana, garlic bread crumbs, chives. It was perfectly seasoned and dressed and with a perfectly cheesy topping! A simple dish but executed so well - Prosciutto pizza - with mozzarella, prosciutto, stracciatella, arugula, truffle oil. Perfection! I love proscuitto pizza and the truffle oil was the cherry on top. The dough was so chewy too! - Frutti di mare pasta - homemade squid ink tagliatelle, tiger prawns, calamari, mussels, Mariana. A great and flavorful marinara seafood pasta! A large portion size suitable for sharing as well

The crust was crisp, and the thinly sliced potatoes were seasoned right and savory and comforting. THe risotto al funghi was creamy and rich and a bit on the saltier side, but I loved the earthy mushroom flavor, which complemented the pizza dish well. Welcome atmosphere and dishes with great flavors!
