I work at the Starbucks in the same shopping center, so my coworkers and I spend a fair amount of time coming here. The staff is friendly and they're always so nice. The pizza here is by far the best in the area! The slices are massive and filling. I recommend getting the white veggie. Let me start by saying what fond memories I have of this place. I went to Baltimore to see my old Uni Goucher, and stopping by Pasta Mista is a ritual for my friends and I. The place has gotten far bigger than I remember it, but the taste is always out of this world. I heard they opened up another one in Canton in the city - lucky lucky Baltimore. I usually roll with the gnocchi, but at the time I was feeling the chicken parm pizza and a slice of the ol' standby ... plain cheese. It is an epic journey each time, and simply delicious. I live in NYC, there's good pizza here clearly, but for me and maybe it is a dash of nostalgia, but Mista pizza will always be the best. Can't wait for the next time I come to visit! read more

I love the pizza here. They offer a good variety of specialty slices as well as your typical cheese / pepperoni. My favorite are the chicken pesto and chicken buffalo. The sauce is so good and the crust is nice and thin, how I prefer it. The wait isn't usually too long, it just depends on how busy they are but it's always worth it. And they're always friendly! One of the few places in the Baltimore area where you can order take out by the slice, Pasta Mista also offers specialty pies. However, they definitely charge way to much per slice for any type. Tomato sauce on the pizza is pretty good too. Key ingredient for pizza that a lot of places neglect. Great place, good pizza, and they're pretty efficient. Good food. Seen a lot of ppl in the business before. We ordered cheesesteaks and a large cheese pizza. We're used to philly cheesesteaks and the size is a big steak. Here, the entire size of a cheesesteak is a half of what we're used to. Because of that we will always frown when it comes to steaks down here. With that being the cheesesteak is good. Its half the price we're used to also, so essentially its worth the price (about $6). The pizza is also good. They have great cheese and sauce. The crust could be a little thinner with a crunch, but still good. All in all i think i found my new cheesesteak and pizza spot. Oh the large pizza is about $12. Thats a little pricey for a cheese pizza but this is like a mom n pop shop so it should be expected somewhat. Delicious pizza with a nice variety of topping combos. We enjoy the chicken parm & chicken caesar pizzas most! Also love the tomato breadsticks! The boccelli salad is a tasty meal by itself - lots of veggies, grilled chicken & fresh greens with the house vinaigrette, which is quite tasty. The subs & pasta are good too, just a bit too saucy in my opinion. Plus the subs are fairly small for the price (they don't offer size options). Service is always very quick & super friendly! I grew up in the area, so I've tried a lot of different pizza joints in Towson, and Pasta Mista remains our go-to. They are pretty consistent in their quality; only a few times they've been off their game (eg, toppings aren't distributed well). We get a carry out pizza weekly and it's always delicious, even as leftovers! They have some great specialty pizzas, like Chicken Ranch. read more

This is the first time I have had Pasta Mists. I was really disappointed with the garlic bread it TASTED dry and stale. and I had 93rd÷red the more expensive garlic bread. I ordered the penne and broccoli with wine and butter sauce. it also was not good. It had a sour taste. The butter did not lend a rich flavor. There were no herbs or cheese on the pasta. The marinara TASTED like it was a can of tomato sauce that had been opened and poured over the pasta. I would like to say I would order from Pasta Mista again, but I rate restaurants on the freshness of their bread. I also use whether or not they use real butter or margarine. read more

We stopped here around 5:30 on a Friday evening. My wife had eaten here while attending Towson University. I liked the idea of the variety of pizzas you could order by the slice. When we were there, it was very busy. The folks in the kitchen were hopping and it took awhile to get an empty table in the small dining area. We chose 5 slices to share. When our order was ready, we checked and they had given us two incorrect slices. We showed them the slices and receipt and they immediately heated the correct slices. They gave them to us and let us keep the incorrect ones too. So the service was pretty good for how busy they were, and they quickly fixed the mistake. The pizza slices were all just ok. The chicken bacon ranch was our favorite. The rest seemed to need a little more salt or seasoning to improve them further. They have bottles of Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and oregano to add to your pizza too. For the price and variety though, the pizza was good. This place is certainly worth trying. They have a big variety of pizzas, other foods to choose from, good service, and the prices are fair. read more

Pasta Mista is great. They offer not only my favorite pizza in the state, but some very solid Italian-style entrees at a very reasonable price point. The Penne Broccoli is good, as is the Parmesan Chicken Sandwich. You really can't miss with their pizza varieties; the Gorgonzola Cheese is my personal favorite, but even the simpler cheese and/or pepperoni are good. This is NYC style pizza. My husband and I were regular customers of Pasta Mista for many years until he passed away. He always got the Meatball Sub and I would get the Chicken Salad until they discontinued it. I was hungry today and thought that I would order something from Pasta Mista and have my son pick it up. I ordered 8 Chicken Wings which was suppose to have Honey BarBQ Sauce on them. I also ordered some Mazerella Sticks. Usually, the Chicken Wings would come with Celery and Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce. Not today, they came with a packet of Ranch Dressing and NO celery. Needless to say I was terribly disappointed and probably won't order from here again in the near future. The Owners may have changed, I am not really sure but maybe that was the only reason why all of the food was different. I usually don't give bad reviews but I just can't let this experience go by without commenting. I don't want anyone to be as disappointed as I was. Hopefully, it will get better in the future, i can only hope. I don't think I will be back too soon in the near future. read more

Pizza is about a 3.7 (shoutout to the extra fresh mozzarella and pepperoni they use, a little torn on the crust), but the pasta, namely the Potato Gnocchi is pretty solid. Great NY style pizza! tons of different varieties; at least a dozen kinds when I was there a few weeks ago. I can eat 2 of the slices if I am starving, but 1 holds me over very well. I can only speak to their pizzas because frankly, each time I come here they all just look so darn tasty that I hurry up, order a slice and get it in my tummy ASAP that I never even think about their other menu items. (My friends have told me their gnocchi is pretty decent.) They just do a great job with their toppings to surface area ratio, plus the crunchy yet chewy crust - it's the perfect slice of pizza in Baltimore, hands down. Damn good pizza. I was addicted to the tortellini pizza for quite some time. Probably my entire senior year actually. The place doesn't seem legit from the outside, but once you step inside and see all those yummy slice pies you know you're in a good place. The decor is pretty minimal but the pizza more than makes up for it. I had the pasta once and it wasn't so good, but defffff go for the pizza.
