Do not sleep on this happy hour deal! I'm an absolute sucker for good value, especially in a city where food is generally good but extremely overpriced. Their HH runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 5-6pm with $15 pizzas / pastas and $8 glasses of wine (9oz). I always get the Funghi Pie and the Radiatore Alla Vodka Diavolo (I've tried their other happy hour dishes as well, but these were the standouts). We had a reservation for a group of four and were seated right away. There isn't a lot of seating and the space is a bit small, so it got loud. We decided to order the OG Baby Lettuce Salad, White Pie, NYC Style Pepperoni Pie, and Margherita Pie. My favorite was the White Pie, I thought the mozzarella had a lot of flavor. I usually don't like ricotta cheese, but there was the perfect amount so it wasn't too overwhelming. It was also not oily like other white pies I've had in the past. I didn't have a chance to try the NYC Style Pepperoni Pie but my fiance said he really enjoyed it. I thought the margherita was good, just not my favorite. What I really enjoyed about the pizzas was the crust was nice and soft. It was charred a bit because of the brick oven which I liked. I would highly recommend coming! Was in Noe around dinner time and needed to find somewhere with gluten free options. Loved that the menu flagged gluten free and vegetation options. Ordered the salsiccia pie (not gluten free) and the braised beef shoulder (gluten free). The braised beef shoulder came with polenta that was creamy and delicious, and a tasty sauce that there wasn't quite enough of -- the meat was a bit dry and not as tender as I'd like, but overall pretty tasty. My wife enjoyed the pizza -- the flavors were delicious and the wood fire crust was nice and toasty on the outside. Unfortunately, this particular pizza because of all of the grease had a soggy center. We will come back likely for a different pizza. The interior was cute and we had a seat at the bar, which gave visibility to the preparation and cooking of the pizzas, which was fun to watch. read more

We used to love the Neighborhood Night at the Sunset location, and although it's no longer happening, we made the trek to the Noe Valley spot and it was well worth it. A quick tip: make a reservation and note that happy hour runs only on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5-6 PM. We tried the Funghi Pie and the Salsiccia Pie, both priced at $15. They were delicious, but the Funghi Pie was *chefs kiss*. Everything is made better by their chili oil. We also ordered the Rigatoncini al Bolognese Classico ($15), which was solid, though my personal favorite remains the Radiatore alla Vodka Diavolo, also part of the happy hour menu. Service was attentive, the food was consistently excellent, and we capped off the evening with a lovely stroll through the neighborhood. Noe Valley in San Francisco has a few places to grab pizza . The newest spot serving pizza and pasta in the Noe Valley neighborhood is Fiorella Noe. This was former location of Patxi Pizza. Fiorella sells thin slice pizza wood fire pizza. There are an other Fiorella pizza locations in San Francisco in the Sunset , Polk street, and Clement street. This location was spacious with plenty of tables. I first got the NYC Style Pepperoni Pie with Ezzo Pepperoni, sauce, Mozzarella & Grana Padano. It was bit spicy with the pepperoni and sauce but very fresh and delicious. I also got the Funghi Pie which wasn't too cheesy and it had Cremini & Oyster Mushrooms, Rosemary, Garlic, Crescenza & Fontina. It was savory and delicious and the thin crust wasn't too doughy or flakey. They have plenty of drinks to pair the pasta and pizza.They have a good happy hour with half priced beer and half priced bottles of wines. Inside is pretty modern and there was nice ambient lighting. Happy hour here is amazing! Great selection of drinks, apps, entrees! It's around $8 off the regular menu for entree items. We got: -Radiatore Alla Vodka Diavolo - not actually spicy at all but very flavorful and I was a big fan of the pasta shape. Good sauce vehicle! -Rigatoncini Al Bolognese - packed with flavor. There wasn't a lot of sauce or meat on the dish but it was evidently when you ate the pasta that it was cooked right in there into the pasta and reduced sauce -Sweet Corn Pie - perfect summer bite! The pickled red onions were an excellent addition, though I wish there was more corn on it overall. I attended my dear friend's graduation dinner here at Fiorella and we had a fabulous Italian experience. Our party of 20 took up two large tables so we had a prix fixe set to make it easier on the staff. Being plant based, I was worried whether they'd have something for me but to my surprise, they made a specialized vegan set for me. While simple, the food turned out satisfying and filling. I had my own vegan salad, tomato pasta, pizza with no cheese, and even a chocolate gelato dessert. The pizza was really bare bones and I wish they could have incorporated some of the other ingredients they have on hand like mushrooms, arugula, etc. but I'll let that slide. What I'd suggest for the future is to have them bring out the vegan/plant based dishes after serving the rest of the table. I always find it odd to have your plate or bowl first and nobody else is eating, and I know that's meant entirely for me. Just a small suggestion to make the setting more comfortable. read more

The staff was nice and our waitress was great. I ordered the house lemonade while waiting for my friend. It was very good but quite sweet. My friend had the citrus & stracciatella salad. The waitress said it was considered the "smaller" of the salads. It was so colorful and looked SO good. I'll have to get that next time. I had a salad, I think it was the baby lettuce, but I'm not hundred percent positive. It was a huge portion though. The waitress said it was the "medium" out of all the salads. I was full when I finished it; but, I managed to stuff 2 slices of the Burrata pie pizza in my belly! It was fresh out of the stone oven and was really good. I love burrata. I wish it had 2-3 big scoops on it. The basil was very strong but good. I've never seen a basil leaf that big. We came here to celebrate my brother's birthday and it was a good experience! The restaurant is a cute modern vibe, I was hoping for it to be a bit cozier to be honest - the booths are hard seats so not the most comfortable and corner table feels really close to the wall. But the food was really yummy, we especially loved the arancini and the radiatore pasta. The Burrata pizza was delicious too, the carbonara pie was good as well. The salad was nicely flavored. I was a bit confused regarding what they do for birthdays and there seemed to be some miscommunication between the staff about that, but we ended up getting complementary dessert which was nice. It was just okay though and it seemed to be missing some toppings. Came here for a date from the East Bay, crazy I know. Well worth it for the food alone. I got the rigatoncini al bolognese Classico which was delicious! Ended up having some left which made for a perfect late night snack. My date got the salsiccia pie which she seemed to enjoy. Fiorella is a welcome addition to Noe Valley as a solid pasta and pizza option for your spontaneous weekday dinner. We had visited the Clement street location in the past and had fond memories. The Noe location did not disappoint! We shared a citrus & stracciatella salad, radiatore alla vodka diavolo, and squid ink pacherri with gulf shrimp which amounted to plenty of food. The salad was refreshing and the sweet citrus against the salty olive was a nice contrast. We preferred the alla vodka over the pacherri. The creamy vodka sauce with the perfectly al dente pasta was delicious and chewy. The pacherri had a delicious sauce and the flavor was savory and memorable, but our pasta was a on the side of slightly undercooked. Fiorella was truly a wonderful dining experience. Me and my two friends walked by the restaurant on a Monday holiday night with no reservation and were able to be seated within 10 minutes (we felt lucky, would recommend having a reservation) Our service from start to finish was truly incredible. The occasion was to celebrate one of our friends getting a huge job promotion and the restaurant did not disappoint. We ordered an excellent bottle of wine for the table and all the food items we got were phenomenal. Their thin crust pizzas were authentic and fresh and their dessert menu has a lot of variety. Incredible neighborhood italian and there are a few in SF (Noe Valley, Russian Hill, Inner Sunset, and Richmond). So far, I've been to the Noe Valley twice because there is decent parking around and Noe is such a cute and fun neighborhood! Our fav is Nonna's meatballs - incredible large, moist and meaty meatballs, sitting in a pool of marinara sauce. Don't be shy - make sure to get some marinara sauce with every bite of your meatball! Also, we are big fans of the classic pepperoni pizza - Fiorella is very generous with pepperoni! Our entire pizza was full of little flavorful pepperoni pieces, baked to perfection. I also love the perfect thickness of Fiorella's pizza - crust is a bit chewy, in the best way, and overall just thick enough but not too thin As for pasta, I've only had the radiator (and had it both visits) and it is a simple and consistent dish. Headed over to meet up with a friend at around 6 pm on a Tuesday and she made a reservation for two since she hadn't been to this location before. We asked the server to give us some recommendations and she was helpful in telling us what was most popular. Salsiccia Pie - We opted for this pizza because the house made sausage with the different cheeses and the salsa verde on top sounded great all together. It was decently spicy but I loved the cheese on top and the sausage were flavorful. The only downside was that the crust was thin and soggy so it was hard to hold the generous amount of toppings. Squid Ink Paccheri with Gulf Shrimp and Calabrian XO - I enjoyed their squid ink pasta and it was my first time having it with paccheri pasta which were large, had a nice bite and held the sauce very well. It had a mild kick and the dish was hot with tasty shrimp and a light coat of breadcrumbs. Everything was well priced and the flavors were definitely represented well. I've been to Fiorella's original spot on Polk St. before, but tonight was my first time at their newer Noe Valley location. Joined by three of my favorite coworkers (fellow fabulous single ladies, very SATC) we ordered like we'd never seen a menu or been to an Italian restaurant before. We did not hold back, and neither should you. The Funghi Pie was so fragrant you could literally smell the herbs with each bite you brought to your mouth. Earthy, cheesy magic. Nonna's meatballs - we'd like to be adopted immediately. The Radiatore alla vodka came with the best noodles ever. The "cascatelli" noodle shape was named one of Time Magazine's best inventions of 2021, and it really was award winning. Ergonomically engineered to hold onto every drop of sauce for maximum taste. Each bite was a tiny miracle. Cacio e pepe - it was great, but did not hold a candle to the Radiatore alla vodka. The vibe: warm, cozy and bustling, which made our conversations feel extra animated. The restaurant was very busy, so we were glad to have made a reservation for our Wednesday night outing. Not all Fiorella's are created equal, but let's be honest, they are pretty close. We live closer to the 9th street location but find ourselves going to Noe much more often. They always execute on our favorites. But sadly no more botarga al limone. That needs to be a standard menu item regardless of the season. But the radiatore diavola is still there and always a winner. Any rotating app with stracciatella is also a safe bet. read more

Fiorella has a number of locations around the city and I was happy to hear that it was coming to Noe Valley. The menu is focused on pizzas and pasta with the a selection of appetisers as well. I had a chance to try the mushroom pizza and the cavatelli as the mains and the chicken wings as the first course. The food here comes out quick. Within a few minutes of ordering our pizza came out. Which was solid and had a nice chew to the crust. I enjoyed the hint of thyme and it had a little kick to it without some chili inter dispersed I enjoyed the pasta as well and was my favourite of the night. Enjoyed the texture of the cavatelli and the Calabrian chili and sausage. The chicken wings were pretty good but came out a bit cold which leads me to believe they were sitting out for a while. For feast we had the sorbetto which was a nice way to end the meal after having heavier mains. read more

Was so excited to hear that Fiorella opened in our neighborhood! My husband and I had a lovely dinner a great experience. For drinks- My husband ordered a nice red wine and I had the strawberry spritz. He loved his wine and my spritz was refreshing! For appetizers - we had the fried chicken wings. I had higher hopes! Was a bit disappointed all around. I live close by and have seen the reviews or people going in so I decided to give it a try. They have a very interesting menu. I decided to give the octopus a try. The octopus itself was very tender but the flavor was lacking. It could have used some salt and spice would have given it that kick it was missing. I didn't like the beans and garnish that they had. I ate maybe a few bites and didn't care to finish it. The waiter came to ask us if we had ordered pizza and pasta which I thought was weird because he should have known...they didn't refill the water and were awkward with always wanting to take the plates away. When the entrees came out I had to do a double take on the pasta. It didn't look like there was any crab meat in there. The flavor was bland and could have used more sauce. The pasta was very dry and under cooked. Wouldn't say "Al dente". The biggest red flag was both of us had bitten into really hard (what I assumed would be shell) pieces!!! I almost broke my tooth! We had to eat the rest slowly and be careful so it wouldn't happen again. The saving grace was the pizza and oil. It wasn't the best but it was better than our other plates. We ordered anchovies to be added and they probably added 4 anchovies. The toppings were uneven which was as a bummer as some pieces I felt like I was eating bread with sauce. This one had a more inventive menu We had quite a few appetizers - little gem salad - very fresh and mix of flavors. I asked for light on the dressing and it was done just right - stone fruit salad - my friend said this was her favorite app - eggplant anchovy crustino. My favorite appetizer. Surprisingly good together and creative - funnel ribs - this may be a funny thing to say but these ribs reminds me of the ones my mom used to make and we are Chinese. Both tender and full of flavor. Made me nostalgic. Very surprising find in a good way for an Italian restaurant. Main courses - Margarita pizza. Love love it. I see other say pizza is burnt here. I don't like describing the food scene in Noe as a "Renaissance" because there's been great options here as long as I can remember, but it is nice to see the new places like Fiorella come in. This restaurant enters a scene that is already a little crowded with pasta and Italian options (Lupa, Novy, Haystack, La Ciccia, etc) but the interior vibe is modern and handsome, working as both a family friendly spot and for casual friend meet ups. We went on a Monday night and it was a pleasant surprise to see a busy scene. Many of the reviews point to the great service, but the staff seemed slightly overwhelmed when we went and while I certainly wouldn't say that anyone was impolite, I also wouldn't say it was attentive. They were kind enough to fit us in as a walk-in with over an hour until the next reservation arrived, but the food didn't arrive until approximately 10 or 15 minutes before we were expected to leave. To their credit, nobody seemed to be rushing us out at that point. The pizzas were solid, Neopolitan style. My recommendation would be to go for for the pizzas with the least toppings, and it is (generally) difficult to get a nice cook on pizzas like the Salsiccia, where the extra ingredients can make it a little bit more watery. The kids enjoyed their pasta, and the salads were the highlight of the appetizer menu in my opinion. The price point is a little high, but not higher than you would expect for a nice night out on 24th street. I suspect as time goes on, some of the smaller kinks will be worked out and this will become a steady part of the rotation for Noe Valley families. read more
