    LINGUINE VONGOLE

The service was okay and the restaurant was pretty busy. We enjoyed a few drinks and the burrata salad for the appetizer, the burrata salad was just okay . I think that it is a little bit different than the broad salad they previously had. The main course was very good, I had the linguine with clams and white wine. The tiramisu was really watery and was something we could've skipped. Overall this was a good experience.

Still amazing as ever. The bartender pizza literally has burrata on every single slice. Legit such good value and so filling. Also spicy which I love. The chicken Milanese Cesar was good but could have used maybe lemon? Idk I like a bit more tang but it was quite crispy and good!!!!

Stopped by here on a weekday to have dinner with a small group, the place was not too packed on a Monday, and we got seated quickly. The waiter was kind and asked if we wanted to start with drinks, and of course we did. I ended up with a Cognac Old Fashioned, which I always found good, and it was not bad here with Hine Cognac. We ordered the Fungi Pizza and Linguini alle Vongole, both came out surprisingly quickly and extremely hot, my mistake for jumping in so quickly on the pizza. Both were quite delicious and pretty filling; the pasta was flavorful, and was just the right amount for 3 people to share with the pizza. Overall, it was a great place to grab a bite to eat. I'll be stopping by again soon!

Nice restaurant in the Mission district. Fast friendly service. Nice clean dining area with music playing. The food was very good. Ordered the pizza, bruschetta & tiramisu. Had the red wine and all was delicious. Would definitely return. Also close to Bart.

This is my go to spot for nite dates. The other patrons are fun to look at and the service impeccable -warm. Food was a hit. I don't drink so I like the virgin options. Decor and ambiance set a relaxed vibe. Cool spot. I will revisit again and again.

Came here for dinner and the waiter recommended the arancini with crab to start, and we ordered the bartenders pizza and meatballs along with a glass of wine. The food came quick. One pizza to share is enough for two if you get another appetizer to share. We had two slices to take home. The tables are close to each other and it is loud when the restaurant is full. When we came on Saturday it was bustling.

This is definitely a cute spot for date night! There are some great dishes and good drinks, but unfortunately nothing spectacular. The not that easy drink is quite good! The matcha and coconut milk work well together. The antipastini focaccia and zucchini were great and very fresh. The cacio e pepe was okay and the bartender's pizza was just good as well. The tiramisu was creamy, but the ladyfingers had a watery taste. There are better Italian places in the city, but Beretta is a solid try.

Margherita pizza with vegan cheese and mushrooms

I came here because Horsefeather had a long wait, and I was pleasantly surprised! I was sat immediately, and the waitress was super friendly and provided great food suggestions. At her recommendation, I ordered the margherita pizza, swapped the cheese for vegan cheese, and added mushrooms. I originally wanted pasta, but the vegan options seemed limited. Nonetheless, the pizza was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Food: 10/10 Drinks: N/A Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 9/10 Vegan-friendly: 8/10

I wanted to update my review - the restaurant remodeled the inside and seemed to have updated the menu as well. Unfortunately I am still not a fan of the food here, and our service was once again very slow. Fortunately we weren't in any sort of hurry, but it's hard to explain how slow and mediocre the service was throughout our entire dinner. For food, I found the apps to be much better than the mains. We ordered: -meatballs - my favorite dish of the night -broccolini - pretty good, cooked nicely and good flavor -crab arancini - pretty unique and overall good -lasagna ferrarese - unlike any lasagna I've had before, but the flavor wasn't my favorite -spicy sopresata pizza - mediocre pizza, probably the best of the main dishes -risotto alla zucca - so so so bad. Almost inedible. The rosemary or something completely hijacked the flavor and we all thought it tasted like cleaning spray. This restaurant is super cute and I really want to love it, but unfortunately the food and service just don't do it for me.

FUNGHI MISTI PIZZA & ITALIAN SAUSAGE PIZZA
    Chassidy T.

We went to Beretta for a birthday celebration, we arrived half an hour earlier than our reservation but they immediately sat us which was nice because it started to pack up shortly after. Our waiter was awesome, he was quick to get us started and kept our waters replenished which I really appreciated. We ordered the following items to share as a group of four: - two pizzas (italian sausage & funghi) - the calamari (aka fritto misto) - meatballs - crab arancini - spaghetti cacio e pepe - tira misu Every item was delicious and we left so full? my favorite was the funghi pizza. It's flavorful and perfect for a garlic lover like myself. The ambiance is perfect for a date night, celebratory dinner, or a girls night out. Super cute & dimmed. I'd love to come back sometime to try their other items on the menu.

It's been too long! I had dinner on a Thursday night here at 6:30pm with five girlfriends. Reservations were made online about a month in advance. it was fairly busy so we might have had to wait if we were walk-ins. Kings garden - 4 stars. Lovely herbacious drink with egg white. Just my thing. Zucchini Scapece - 5 stars. This was amazing, such great flavor & texture. Fagioli Puree - 3.5 stars Ricotta Fresca - 4.5 stars. This had some pop of flavor, was it lemon? I loved this. Carpaccio di Polpo - 3 stars. A bit disappointing, flat and lacking texture. Meatballs - 4.5 stars. Broccolini - 4 stars.

Walnut bread with burrata, truffle honey, mission figs. $12.

5% surcharge. - 4/5: panna gelato with olive oil and sea salt. The gelato is a rich fior di latte, and it goes great with olive oil and sea salt. It's good, not great. The soft serve at Pizzeria Delfina with olive oil and sea salt is better. - 3.5/5: Walnut bread with burrata and figs appetizer. It's OK, not great, and way overhyped.

Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

CONS: ok i know this is me complaining about something that's just a "san francisco" thing, but i feel like the portion size did not match that $26 price tag. yes, the pancakes were delicious, but i was expecting them to be a bit bigger for how much i was paying. like they don't have to be diner sized but it just felt a bit underwhelming.

The residential setting is part of the appeal - you can actually spread out, and it's a lovely area to wander while you wait for a table (and you will wait, so plan for it). The outdoor seating is the way to go. Indoor feels cramped. On cooler mornings they'll even hand you a blanket. Sitting outside on that peaceful corner watching the neighborhood wake up is a charming experience. Only downside of dining al fresco: a fly landed on my sausage. But credit to the staff - the waiter noticed and brought out a fresh plate without me even having to ask. That kind of attentive service goes a long way. The food lives up to the hype. The lemon ricotta pancakes are the star for good reason. They were light, fluffy, and not too sweet. The crispy potatoes were excellent too, just be warned they come out scorching hot (I burned the roof of my mouth going in too eager). Give them a minute to cool. Upside of parking on the top of that steep hill is that you'll burn off your breakfast calories getting back to your car.
