We usually end up here late at night on a weekend, staff is still friendly & helpful. Will continue to visit...love the food!

Periodically we find ourselves in Granbury (usually after a swim meet) and we are HOT, tired and hungry and this place NEVER disappoints! We have a local branch in our hometown so we know what to order and what to expect and they always meet our expectations. They have unlimited HOT, fresh, homemade rolls served to your table upon your arrival. The kids LOVE these! Some of our favorites to order are the manicotti, the calzones are the kids favorites, the ravioli, the pizza and my husband always gets the cannelloni Alfredo as he loves their sausage. You can order a side salad too (we usually ask them to split it for us) and it's just enough to start the meal off right as it has always been fresh and crisp! read more

Our Family been here once. But I don't feel like it that much. Kind of pricey and the food wasn't that great. I have a picture but I had been deleted already since don't think of posting it on yelp. But surely I post those pics on my fb. We love to eat different restaurant Atleast once twice or 3 times a week. Depends on how we like to go out for dinner, or brunch, but most likely I observe and compare to other restaurants. So my interpretation for this restaurant are not quietly good. I like Italian Food of most kinds and this is one of the finest Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at. I especially like their pizza. I'm much rather drive here to pick one up or eat it in the restaurant than to order a roof shingle from one of the delivery places in Granbury. Just picked up a pizza and ceasar salad. Their special pizza was ordered, which includes four meats and four vegetables. The vegetables consisted of mushrooms, green peppers, onions, olives. The crust was very tough and not quite cooked. Ceasar Salad was dripping with dressing and very limp. The entire order was a disappointment. read more

After an unpleasant experience at another (new) local restaurant (so bad we did not stay to eat), we came here, because we know we can count on Pastafina for consistency - good food, good value, good service. I had today's special - salmon with a light dusting of bread crumbs, served with broccoli and artichokes, and cooked in a creamy luscious white wine sauce. Outstanding! My husband ordered the Cannelloni Alfredo, and while the filling and alfredo sauce were quite tasty, the dish was very hot, probably because it was served in the dish it was baked in rather than on a plate. My son had the Chicken Parmigiana. I also appreciate the way Pastafina is willing to substitute mixed vegetables for pasta on dishes for those of us trying to watch our weight. No need to do that with today's special as it did not come with pasta, a plus for me! Although, every time I come here, I have to fight the urge to eat their delicious bread. No worries, between my husband and my son, we ate every bite. This is my go-to restaurant for take-out too - easy to stop by here on my way home from work after a 40 minute commute. read more

Good food. Best Italian in Granbury. Also best Seafood in town. Granbury doesn't have a Seafood restaurant, but Pastafina has several tasty seafood dishes on their menu. When I'm in the mood for Salmon, Snapper, Seafood Pasta, this is where I go. The take out walk up window is great too. We often call in a pick up order to go on nights when we don't want to cook at home. Weekend evenings can be very busy causing the service to be slow. I prefer mid week dining. read more

We ordered take out and even after the food set for a bit, it was delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly and everything we tried was very good. We are here out of town and celebrating our anniversary. We were looking for a great pasta restaurant and googled something nearby. This place was incredible and the Spicy Shrimp Diavlo was so good. Also you need to try their Creamy Spinach Broccoli soup. read more

I've been here twice: 1st time was March 2015 when I came to visit my boyfriend after he moved back home after getting off active duty. He purposed to me here (his plan A fell through). Best night ever! :)) Food was amazing then! Only issue, we ordered calamari as an appetizer and it came out after our main courses. 2nd time was January 2016 when a client have our clinic a gift card to enjoy lunch as a Christmas present! We came in after a full day of touring Revolver Brewery & Granbury Wine Walk. We got there before the dinner(6:15pm) rush so were seated quickly and after the long day that was very nice. Our waitress was very nice but pulled the one issue that bugs me but we will get to that later. I ordered the Pasta Rustica (grilled shrimp, scallops, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes in sherry wine sauce over linguine it was ample portion with great favors. My wife ordered the Pasta combo and after 3 bites professes she is done. The problem was we all over indulged on the fantastic garlic knots. But you have to ask for side of mixed dressing(parmesian, garlic in oil) it is phenomenal as dipping sauce for the knots. Now as i said early our waitress did a great job EXCEPT at the end she just brought our check and did not ask about desert. Granted I was full but it was early and we all knew we would want some tiramisu or chocolate cake later. So next time just ask..we could say YES! read more

I've eaten here several times (5) and find it pretty good. I really like the salad with nicks dressing, an evo, lemon and crushed galic concoction that's for garlic lovers. Don't think is on the menu but ask for it. Pizza is very good, lasagna is good and Alfredo is very good. Family owned. read more

The Pastafina's Veal Albanese is the standard that I hold all Italian restaurants to. This is the restaurant that we reserve for our first and last dinner out when we get down to Granbury. The service has slipped a little since our first visit a few years back and the portions may be a little smaller, but the quality of the food is as good as the first time we were there. They happily provide spaghetti instead of linguine and a cold salad bowl for a shared salad. Wish they would correct the "articchokes" misspelling on the menu :-) read more

Despite the tell tell sign of a great restaurant with a constantly crowded parking lot, we decided to not try the new and closer Antonios instead opting to drove across town to our favorite Italian place in Granbury, Pastafina. We were seated immediately at approximately 8:20pm on a Friday night. Let me start by saying that the food at Pastafina is ALWAYS delicious and tonight was no different. However, it took us more than 30 minutes from the time we got our drinks and complimentary bread to get our salads. It was pretty evident that our waiter had forgotten to put in our order. Mistakes happen. My issue is that there were 10 tables being served with 5+ wait staff walking around. At no time were we approached or checked on by anyone (never even saw a manager). Upon getting our salads it took another 15 minutes to get our food. By now my two and a half year old had resorted to eating parmesan cheese out of the shaker. Our waiter apologized that the cooks were alittle swamped (remember 10 tables total with food coming out consistently). After eating we waited another 10 minutes for a different waitress to being a check. Due to the looks on our faces, she apologized for our poor service stating that the waiter was new, only confirming that they knew there were issues and yet didn't step into help. We left disappointed, $44.13 poorer, and with a sleeping toddler after more than a hour of waiting. Now I know why the new restaurant is so popular. read more

I was (pleasantly) surprised by Pastafina - they have pretty decent Italian food that I did not expect to get in Granbury. Don't expect overly authentic seafood dishes or items that you'd see in a more authentic restaurant - this is Italian-American. But it's solid, with fresh ingredients and well-seasoned items. Pastafina is a mediocre restaurant that gets rave reviews because there really aren't any other Italian restaurants in the area to offer competition. Don't get me wrong. The food's decent, and it's good for a night of not having to mess up the kitchen, but it's never my first choice. I'll give the service a C+. The servers are friendly, but the overall delivery tends to be sluggish. This is particularly the case when ordering wine or a cocktail from your table. Granted, the back of the house might be the cause of this, but either way, it impacts the customers. As for the food, a firm C. Pastafina specializes in classic italian dishes - lasagna, cannelloni, pizza and calzones - and while the food is solid and filling, it never quite achieves greatness. The reason is simple. It needs more seasoning, and I don't mean salt. I'm talking more garlic and herbs. Those fresh ingredients that give Italian cooking it's signature, and immediately identifiable, taste seem to be absent. That said, there are some bright spots. The salads, while basic, are crisp and cold, the ingredients fresh, and the house vinagrette has the perfect zing. The bread is delicious. Baked to a golden brown, well-seasoned, and served warm, they are best when topped with a generous pat of butter. Nikki B is right. It's hard to eat only one. For you steak lovers, the Ribeye ala Griglia is noteworthy, and for the wine afficianados out there, although Pastafina's wine list is extremely limited, the house chianti often hits the spot (and the glasses are generously poured). read more

Great atmosphere! Great service The first time I went here it was in another town and I wasn't to impressed so after moving to granbury it took awhile to go back. We went back this weekend and I was very impressed. The food was great, my two kids ate which is rare at restaurants and it was great service. If you are in granbury and want good Italian that's not expensive this is a great place. read more

Worth a trip! The decor and atmosphere is very nice. Typical appetizers we tried the fried zucchini. The house dressing tastes like sweet pickles but with tomatoes. I ordered the fettuccine carbonara which was bland and lacking real flavor from both the Alfredo sauce and the prosciutto. My husband ordered the New York strip which was delicious tender and the red wine sauce was very flavorful rich and deep. The tiramisu we were told was house made and at first glance the blue berries was off setting but they are a great compliment would have never thought since I am not a big blue berry fan. I visit this pasta house practically every time I'm in Granbury. Great ambiance, great food, hot and cold beverages as you desire. My personal favorite is the pasta rustica with shrimp and scallops served over linguine, very tasty. I sometimes order one of their supreme pizzas to take home with me. There's nothing in the Greenville area that comes close to this pizza, possibly in Chicago. This is a great place to dine, shoot, my taste buds just started jangulating !! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Me and my boyfriend discovered pasta fina about a year ago and fell in love. We drove OVER AN HOUR to visit this location, and we regret it so much. Our server, young tall white male, was super rude. We didn't get helped until 20 minutes after we were sat. The server took forever to go to us, never said a word besides what do we want to drink and here's your food. We had to ask other servers to help up because our server went missing the whole time we were eating. The other servers were friendly. When we were ready to pay our server left again so we had to go look around who we could check out with, and the host was rude and pointed at our server when we asked her, she didn't even say a word to us either. So, we left a zero dollar tip. Mind you, we are both servers, one of us is a manager at a restaurant, and servers love tipping other servers. We were just in disbelief. We drove back home super bummed out, because we loved this restaurant. I'm honestly not sure if it's out skin color, but, it was just shocking to see how bad we were treated. Unfortunately, we're never going back. I would advise management to hire employees who actually like serving or actually like diversity of people, but I doubt they care, so here's a yelp review. :) read more

Pretty adequate. Nothing worth getting excited about. The portions were way too big but the tortellini alla panna had nice flavor. The bread was too hard but the price matches the quality of food nicely. I don't hate the place but I'd much rather eat at a smaller "Ma and Pa" Italian restaurant with better quality food.
