He proceeded to explain the 3 menus and told us that once we were ready, to order from the kiosk. Cool! Note: The restaurant is a take-out only establishment. There were 3 menu boards on the wall. One for custom guacamole, one for eggrolls (with half of the eggrolls being vegan and/or plant based), and the last for vegan plates (like vegan shrimp and grits). We were drawn to the eggroll menu especially considering you could get 2 eggrolls, a sauce and a side for $15. My choices were easy since I am a pescatarian - Too Deep (Crab Cake) and Break Me Over (Lobster) which are the sole pescatarian options. My boyfriend went with the Happy Ending (Hibachi Steak) and the Role Play (Smoked Turkey). For sides, I had tots and he had the smoked pasta (which is served cold). I also ordered a Passion Fruit Sweet Tea and went back after that order was placed, and ordered the Cream Pie (Oreo Chocolate Cookie Dough) eggroll. Important to note - we placed our order at 6:41 pm on the kiosk. While waiting around, I busied myself by watching the staff prep the food. They have glass walls so you can see the food being prepared. Always a plus for a clean stickler like myself. I will say that everything looked fresh. The owner was the hardest working that day (no surprise there) and she had a very young staff of 3 young men. From what I could gather, they prep and she prepares. There is only one seat inside of the restaurant, like a stool-like chair, so my boyfriend kept asking me and the other patrons if we wanted a seat. We all were just standing around patiently waiting on our food. The music inside at least kept us entertained because the wait was LONG. At 715, I remember saying to my boyfriend that we had been here near an hour (I knew because I checked the time stamp of my first pic upon entering and it was taken at 628 pm. Not going to lie, I was tired of standing, the music inside was not as entertaining as the speaker on the outside, and I was really just ready to go. I could tell he was getting pretty frustrated too and that is not the norm because he too is in food service so he understands. We were whispering to each other that the wait was clearly due to the eggrolls being airfried and not deep fried. I do wish that we had been told up front that it would take 30-45 min to prepare. Nonetheless, we finally received the first order (remember, I placed a second order afterwards for the dessert eggroll) around 715 and then FINALLY received the final order at 730. Even the owner, who handed us the final order, said, "thank you for spending half of your evening with me." Now, time for the taste test and not going to lie, we both joking said they BETTER be orgasmic after that long wait. The good news is that they were good. My lobster eggroll was cheesy and flaky. Oh, important to note, when I ordered mine off the menu, it did not mention that it was mac and cheese inside. It was described as "succulent chunks of fresh lobster with Chive Butter." It was not until I was killing time, I came across signage in the kitchen suggesting mine was a lobster mac and cheese. Ordinarily, I would not have purchased that knowing it had Mac and cheese in it, but it actually was tasty especially with the chive butter. My boyfriend said the hibachi steak eggroll was decent (a bit spicy but not overwhelming...he just does not like spice at all). He was not too keen on the type of steak used (of course, he was looking for real steak...lol!) but this was more of a ground steak. He and I both agreed that we would have preferred the eggrolls deep fried versus airfried (not just from a taste perspective but also from a wait time perspective). I did not like the tots, but I am not big on tots at all. They had a sweet/savory seasoning on them I did not care for. My boyfriend's pasta salad was really good but the noodles were a tad undercooked. Really good flavor though. Neither of us had room for our 2nd eggroll, so I will update my review later on them. I did try the Oreo Chocolate Cookie Dough eggroll though. It was not my thing. Can't describe it, but something was off about the cookie dough for my palate. Before I close this out, I did also want to mention my thoughts on the other two menus. The guacamole and vegan menus seem very much out of place for this eggroll establishment. This leads me to wonder how many sales she makes off of them. Seems as if the sweet spot is the eggroll menu, but I could be wrong. We did not see anyone come in and order off of the other menus while we waited either and did not see the owner or her staff preparing any food off of those other menus. They had a LOT of call ins for eggrolls though. PS - kind of funny, but we thought they were called Organic and not Orgasmic Eggrolls. The signage, from a distance, was hard to read.
