Went here for Valentine's Day and it was great!! Such a special place with amazing dishes. The pastas were amazing. I loved the fact that they had the option to do 60% pasta for 60% the price! It gave us the ability to try 2 different ones! It's right across from the Fox, so its perfect for before a show! They were super great about asking if we were going to the show to see how much time we had! Parking is kind of hard to find and expensive in this area. We were close enough to uber, but I would definitely suggest figuring out your parking beforehand.

recently hosted a baby shower for my coworker at Lyla Lila, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was incredible -- the lamb skewers were hands down the highlight of the meal. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive. The staff was attentive, kind, and made sure our group felt celebrated and well taken care of throughout the entire event. They were organized, accommodating, and truly helped make the baby shower feel special. If you're looking for a place with amazing food and exceptional service -- whether for dinner or a special event -- I highly recommend Lyla Lila. We couldn't have chosen a better spot to celebrate. m

I came on a Friday night for a friend's bday dinner. They don't accommodate large groups in the front room so we were in the back area which was less aesthetically pleasing but more intimate. The menu has a wide array of pasta dishes. They were sold out of a couple of dishes by the time of our late (10PM) reservation. I was between the ravioli and the duck lasagna. I went for the lasagna and it was a disappointment for me. It tasted a bit burnt and I could appreciate the duck flavor. The carrot garnish was also a bit flavorless. The other girls I dined with really enjoyed their dishes and the service was good so that's why I stop gave 4 stars. The cocktails were also good and reasonably priced. We ubered so I can't speak on parking but it's midtown/downtown so do with that what you will.

This is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta! I've come here about 5 times in the past 4 months, tried most of the menu and I have been disappointed by a single dish. Cocktails - I love the duckfat washed bourbon old fashioned. MVP's for food were the peach burrata (which is a summer special), the scallops, and the cod wrapped in zucchini. I also love the kale salad if you're looking for some greens. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu

I can't believe I've lived in Atlanta for almost 10 years and have just now tried Lyla Lila. It has soared to the top of my favorites list! My sister and I did the pasta tasting menu which I definitely recommend. The service was wonderful and the vibes were great. I'm still dreaming about the tiramisu. I will definitely be back!

Ok ADORE. Elegant interior, incredible service, wide selection of dishes, beautiful drinks. Big fan! We began with the smoked scallops - perf light starter. They give you a good amount too. My main was the snapper in squash. It's a massive portion of fish, over a cream-based sauce and wrapped in a light layer of shaved squash. Would recommend both.

Such a great dinner!!! The food is fresh and the chef is so creative with all the flavor profiles even down to the salads! We love that we could do a small portion of the pasta so that we could try a couple of them!

Great spot for a fun date night or to hang out with friends! Parking can be a nightmare if you don't have a go to deck/street to use since they don't really have designated parking (the two lots suggested on the site are pretty expensive). Ubering is also a pretty decent idea especially if there's an event at fox. The inside of the restaurant is super nice and deceptively large, with a few dining rooms. Our service was great too and everything came out very quickly. We started with the ciabatta bread with their homemade spiced butter. It was absolutely amazing and will definitely be getting it every time I go! We then had our own pasta tour with 4 plates of pasta since they can do 60% of most pasta dishes at 60% of the price. I think 3 would have been the perfect amount, but it was nice having more variety to try. 1. Wagyu beef truffle ravioli - the BEST! I loved their truffle sauce and the beef was super tender 2. Duck lasagna - super tasty and came with a side of carrots. 3. Squid ink pasta - usually not a fan but the one at Lyla Lila is so good! Loved the addition of nduja and garlic butter breadcrumbs. 4. Cavatelli - pretty disappointing and why Lyla doesn't get 5 stars for me. This was my fiances top choice when looking at the menu and he was sooo glad we ended up sharing pasta instead of getting our own haha I'll definitely be back to get the ravioli again and to try some of their other dishes!

Lyla Lila is a destination for tasty, creative Italian food. The restaurant's Midtown location has been open for five years. Chef-partner Craig Richards has a deep resume in food business, but this is his first as owner. Unlike many Italian restaurants, the décor of the two dining rooms is artsy and beautiful. We started with the Buffalo Mozzarella, that is served with squash, beets and black truffle vinaigrette. Yum! The Crispy Artichokes are shaped into roses, crunchy on the outside with a buttery center. It was sensational. Never had artichokes served that way. The menu, as expected is heavy on pasta, but they give you the option of a full serving or half portion (which is actually about 60% of the full). For entrees, I selected the multilayered Crispy Duck Lasagna, which is the #1 pasta order by Yelp reviewers. It was exquisite. But the highlights of our meal were Cappelletti Ravioli and the Cavatelli. Rich, authentic tastes. Save room for the desserts. We ordered the Meyer Lemon Cheesecake, Chocolate Mouse Cake and some Chocolate-Salted Caramel gelati. The desert course almost topped the entrees. The restaurant has an extensive wine selection, but also a full bar. Most of their liquors are small batch regional producers, so keep that in mind. Cecil, our server, has worked there for a year and was super helpful and attentive. Make sure to ask for him.

Their drinks are pretty good, we got three of them to start with. Love that you can do half size portions of the pasta so i got the duck lasagna and another dish. Pasta was pretty good, and for dessert I got the affogato which was sooo strong in a good way. Parking was hassle to find but that's just everywhere in this area.

Went here for my Birthday. Long story short - amazing food, terrible service. We started with cocktails and the snapper crudo - very delicious. Pastas were incredible and I loved that you could do the 60% portion size. However, service was so bad. The server was stopping by the tables next to us nonstop and never came to us. we also constantly ran out of water. No recollection of my birthday besides when she first sat us down. It wasn't special and I thought it might be because this restaurant is so nice. I will say food is amazing, I just feel the server profiled us as younger people who might not be spending as much money as the people around us, so she gave them much more attention. Disappointing, as we were planning on doing more but it wasn't worth it after the service.

Not sure if I've been living under a rock but Lyla Lila is so under hyped. Not to sound extreme but this may have been the best pasta I've had ...in my life? Our experience from beginning to end was 10/10! We weren't particularly excited about any of the apps but pro tip: you can order any of the pasta dishes as an appetizer portion. We settled on the duck lasagna, wagyu ravioli, and the cavatelli. Words can't describe how delicious this meal was!! I was most excited about the duck lasagna but wow the wagyu ravioli and cavatelli are a must order!! The flavor of these are so unique and delicious. It's crazy bc the lasagna was so good you may think it can't get better this...but at Lyla Lila it does! The ambience is like sophisticated mid-century modern. Perfect for date night! The staff was also incredible! Lauren and Ashley were great but it was Justin who made our experience so memorable. He made us feel like family and stopped in to check on my friend and I and ended up finding out it was my birthday. He brought out a birthday tiramasu and I just felt so special. Wonderful from beginning to end - can't wait to come back!

They were very light and delicious. I also chose the chopped salad, but I wanted it to come out with my entrée. The chopped salad was good. Had pepper notes to it. The only thing I would do next time is ask for it not to be green peas in it. Just because I'm not a fan. For my entrée I got the cannelloni. The lamb shoulder inside was so tender. It was very cheesy and delicious. It also had green peas in it, which I didn't pay attention to on the menu. I would also ask for there not to be green peas in the kennel only again that's just my taste. But that did not stop me from eating it all. I also had the blood orange margarita which was really good. This was my first time at this restaurant, but it definitely will not be the last. I loved the vibe of the restaurant.

I'll start with the good which was the appearance of the restaurant and the service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar. Although we had to wait an hour for our 7:15p reservation, the hosts were incredibly kind and gave us complementary drinks for the inconvenience. After standing in a busy walkway for an extended amount of time, we were finally seated. Our table was in a good location in the restaurant but we did have to deal with a bit of wobbling that was fixed by the server and a few gnats and flies. Our server was very nice and very informative as we ordered but seemed to get distracted at times due to how busy the restaurant was. The food and drinks were fine but not necessarily worth the hassle and wait. It wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped but the ingredients seemed to be fresh. It was a nice touch to have fresh Parmesan cheese grated table side with our meals. All in all, I don't think I would go out of my way to visit this restaurant again but it's worth giving a try if you are craving Italian and happen to be in the area.

We had a big party and they were super accomodating which was already a plus for the restaurant. When we got there, they provide complimentary bread and tomato sauce which was delish. We also got some drunks and I opted for the tequila/aperol cocktail which was stunning. The waiter did say it was their most popular and for good reason! We also got some appetizers to start include the fried seafood which was yummy and the cheesy bread which was STUNNING! Imo, skip the pizza and get the cheesy bread. Cannot explain how good it is. Almost ruined my dinner. For my entree, I opted for the eggplant parm after many recs and I do fear its worth. You can add a side of pasta for $7 which is lowkey is a scam... but those were some delicious buttered noodles. This meal was stunning. No notes.

We have spent a significant amount of money here and considered it one of our special places to catch up and spend quality time together. During our Sunday recent visit, we started at the bar with appetizers and drinks. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay for dinner and asked for a table. Although we were initially given one, the hostess. She was apparently new. She had a conversation with a server and then returned to tell us that we had to remain at the bar because we started there, and cannot transfer to a table. It was clear that the decision appeared to be based on protecting a server's section and earning potential rather than providing guest service. When I asked for a manager, the situation was not handled appropriately, and it was obvious that servers are in control of this restaurant, not management. Unbeknownst to me after all these years. A restaurant should prioritize its guests--not allow server preferences to dictate the guest experience. After years of loyalty and substantial spending, this experience was unacceptable. We will not be returning, and it is unfortunate that such a long-standing family tradition ended this way.
