Glad they still have takeout as an option! They do offer dine in at a lower capacity and the seats and spread out which is nice. Got the butternut squash ravioli and it was savory and sweet. It was comfortingly warm and very in season. I ordered a meatball with and I wasn't sure what I was expecting but it was not just a singular, large meatball sitting on my plate of ravioli. It was savory and a nice addition to my meal but I think I would prefer smaller ones to eat with each bite. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my meal! read more

Another excellent meal recently reminded me again of just how much I enjoy this restaurant. We have frequently visited the Corvallis location when visiting our son at OSU and it's always good. This time I took my daughters to the Bridgeport location. It was early on Saturday so we got a table straight away. The food - delicious. We were all jealous of my daughter's lasagna. I have a garlic allergy and the server assured me most entrees, except the marinara sauce, we made to order and could be made garlic free. Italian food that tastes wonderful and doesn't make me sick?! It's like hitting the jackpot. I forget the name of my dish but it had sausage, broccolini, spinach and tomatoes. They omitted the garlic and added red pepper per my request and it was soooo good. All this to say, how great to know it's made to order, fresh and delicious. I also appreciate the open kitchen where you can see the food being prepared - nothing to hide. Wish entrees came with a side salad but the three of us shared a large salad and it was plenty and very good. Also my sangria was tasty too. Too full for dessert (generous portions!) but we highly enjoyed our dinner. read more

My husband and I love Pastini. This location was excellent in the quality of food, and the no contact pick up is a great service to offer during this pandemic. However, I am giving it four stars because we didn't get napkins or utensils in our bag, which given the circumstances of this pandemic, (we are staying at the grand hotel in bridgeport) luckily our hotel had utensils to offer us. Also the portions seemed smaller than normal. It is a franchise, and with that comes consistency. But we all know that's not true, quality and portions change from location to location even though as a customer you expect it to be the same, it really isn't. But nonetheless, the food was tasty and it was packaged nicely despite the missing utensils and napkins and portions. read more

We ordered 3 family dinners and a couple of chicken salads for my husbands birthday tonight, and the food was amazing- best pasta we have had- the salads and bread were also super fresh and amazing as were the dressings. The value was also amazing for all of the food. It was under $200- and I sent leftovers home with everyone- 9 people. Great value and great food- we will be doing this again! I have eaten at many Pastini restaurants. This one is by far the worst. The food was at best 3 Stars. The dessert was very good, 4 stars but the service was terrible. We were seated quickly by the hostess, asked about drinks as expected, but no mention of water and food arrived timely but that is when it all fell apart. The waitress never came back after dropping off the food. Service stopped: no come back to make sure everything was ok, or more drinks or clearing off the plates. We waited until my granddaughter was done with her drink and it was getting late. I saw a waitress who was cleaning the table next to us and asked her where our waitress had gone. Our waitress was busy cleaning tables so she was asked to return to our table. When she arrived her comment was: Do you want something? It was my granddaughters birthday dinner so I asked for desert and containers for our food. Another several minutes passed when she returned with the containers and removed our plates...still another 5 minutes or more for our desert. At that time she asked about coffee. I will not return to this restaurant and will pass on to friends about the service. I have had better service at a fast food place, tavern or Chinese restaurant. read more

I was super excited to try the Bridgeport location to celebrate my birthday. It was a lively Friday night with a short 10 minute wait to get seated. Things started to fall apart after we got seated. Very slow and almost no service where our waitress only stopped by twice, maybe three times total. Perhaps, she was upset that I was using the birthday certificate? Or thought she would get much less tips compared to a large party next to me?? Not sure but she wasn't too thrilled about serving us at all and birthday certificate was not even applied even though I gave it to her at the time of my order. The food is always fresh and I love how nothing is ever frozen unlike other popular "Italian chains" I love how they have vegan options and are always friendly about accommodating vegans. I'll start off by saying Pastini has nothing but great food. I'm writing this review to being awareness to the management team not to deter people from going here. I've been there dozens of times and it food is great. Unfortunately, this review is focused on my interactions with a particular waiter. I decided to take one of my big clients here for lunch and couldn't have been more disappointed by how unprofessional we were treated. The young lady at the front was fantastic. My client wasn't wearing a mask (I was). He asked why he had to wear one and since he had been vaccinated he forgot his in the car. She said that was the rule and offer if we wanted to buy a mask for $1. I said I would pay for it but my client thought that was ridiculous so he decided to return to his car. After he left she began to seat us and one of the waiters came over ask if is she was okay with us right in front of me. He did not acknowledge I was there or apologize for the inconvenience. Instead he came across as if we were treating/insulting the young lady. We would never do such a thing and I took extreme offense to that. When my client return to the table I ask he if wanted to eat here he said so. I let the young lady know we decided to go else where and thanked her for her help. Even though I was not speaking to the waiter as we where walking out the door he said, "good I'm glad". I choose to ignore it and leave. Fantastic in every way! Our server, Dakota helped me pick out dishes that could be made vegan and offered my mother assistance with her wine selection. Our dining experience was great and we wanted for nothing as the service provided us with all that we needed and more. Their food and wine is off the charts delicious, always fresh and well cooked, the wine offerings hit the spot and pair quite well with their dishes. We went there for dinner on a Sunday evening. We had a short wait for a table, not bad. Skye waited on us and was very friendly and accommodating. They honored an old coupon we had from before the pandemic and fixed an issue with our gift card, no problem. We ordered from Pastini tonight and were hugely disappointed. We placed our VERY simple order for macaroni & cheese, 2 salads, spinach artichoke dip and tiramisu around 7. Not only did it take 2 hours for the delivery to arrive, but this incompetent restaurant only managed to deliver cold spinach artichoke dip, soggy bread, and tiramisu which looked like someone sat on it. They completely forgot to include the macaroni and cheese with bacon, and both salads. By the time the barely edible partial order of food arrived, the restaurant was closed, along with everything else in the area and we were out of options. The linguini misto mare, and the spaghetti meatball bolognese on gluten free ziti and spaghetti were delicious. Very impressed compared to my previous order when I had food delivered from here. The sauce on the linguini was very light and the lemon brought me back to when I used to eat here as a kid. We also shared the three salad sampler and liked the caprese, tomato basil soup, and the Caesar salad: warning this Caesar salad has olives on it. Thank you for having me come back! read more

One word: service! Ok, now more words: I went to go see Coraline in 3D at Bridgeport Village and had about 45 minutes 'till showtime. My dining companion and I were starving due to a series of unfortunate events, and I was worried that I would not have a good birthday dinner. So, after stumbling around Bridgeport, which I worried would house more "more money, less quality" places like McCormick's and such, I just rolled the dice and chose the restaurant closest to the theater. As soon as I walked in, I was already put off. The entire place was packed! Turning to leave, resigned to a 2 hour movie with no relief for mah tummy in sight, I opened the door and put one foot on the sidewalk. "Sir?" came a voice from behind us. "If you're still hungry, I have a table right here for you!" I turned back around and saw a waitress with a pleasant smile gesture towards a table that I am almost certain was not there moments before. Intrigued by Pastini's magical tables, we allowed her to seat us. Glancing at my cell, I noticed we had 42 minutes until showtime. "Are you here to see a show?" she asked, as if reading my mind. "Yes," I said, "starts at 10:10." "Oh, well let's get you guys fed!" she smiled again, and took our drink ordered, returning almost instantly to take our food order. Within five minutes, our food was at the table, piping hot and absolutely delicious! I had the three cheese tortelini in gorgonzola sauce, which was in massive quantity (too much for even me to eat!) and very flavorful. The sauce had a delicate texture and sat well with the pasta, and was even better when soaked up by the complimentary house bread! Pastini of Bridgeport Village saved my birthday dinner...not only was the service spot-on and uber-friendly (she was there within moments to take away our plates and even faster with the check!) but the food was surprisingly good for an area known more for its ability to over-charge the more gullible shoppers who happen by. They get high marks from me and my dining companion (whose salad, I am told, was absolutely perfect!) Thank you, Pastini! Your performance has stolen my snark and replaced it with love! Okay. So, I agree with one of the other reviews on here - that the food seems consistent, and it's good. It's just not amazing. There are a few things that they could do that would make the experience a lot better and more fitting. They don't offer complimentary bread. I know it can be costly, but I feel like it's welcoming, and I can't think of an Italian place that doesn't do this. Oh, and it's not fresh, grated at your table Parmesan cheese. It's already added to your dish, and if you want more, they bring a side of it out. I ordered the linguini with chicken, and it was good, but like I said... it wasn't amazing. If I did come back to this place, I would order it again. As far as service, it was great. The server was friendly and courteous, and she was efficient, which is much appreciated. read more

Ahh, Pastini. I love Pastini. We have been to some other's around town but seem to frequent the one in Bridgeport Village. The food is amazing, the portions are filling, and the price is right. We've yet to have a bad experience at this lovely place. Stop by Pastini on a weeknight before a movie (hey FYI - popcorn's free Tuesday night's with your Regal Card). This was a good place for being in a mall (even a fancy upscale mall). It was recommended to my group by a woman at Boarders who overheard our debate of where to eat. She broke in and said, "You have to go, it's local and is better than the other options here." Now, I've admitted this before on Yelp, but I like CPK. I know what I'm getting and what I get I like, a lot. Still, I can get CPK just about anywhere, so I was up for new things. That is, until we were informed that there would be a twenty minute wait for lunch. This was during the week! I was so up to go across the street, but the others I was with are more apt to wait than I, so we did. The decor is nothing special. Mind you, it's trying to be special, but it kind of missed the mark. The dark wood that pops up everyone, the vintage-esque posters of Italian cities on the wall, all of it was close, but definitely no cigar. Fifteen minutes later (five shy of our quoted time) we were seated. There were a couple things that jumped out at me from the menu. I finally decided on the polenta marinara. It turned out to be pretty tasty, but nothing mindblowing. Our waitress was nice and didn't hurry us. Our iced teas didn't go too long without getting topped off. The pricing was in the high-reasonable range. It's one of those places that, if you're at Bridgeport Village already, it's a fine place to go. Wow, for my first visit to a Pastini Pastaria ever, they have won me over. We had great service and both my daughter and I thought the food was excellent....So excellent, in fact, that for her 10th birthday in ~2 weeks she has switched her dining selection from California Pizza Kitchen to Pastini. That's an endorsement! We shared the Parmigiana Bread which is ridiculously affordable and delicious at $3.75. Super soft baguette bread, slightly toasty but not hard, covered with generous amounts of melted butter and fresh parmesan cheese and a marinara dipping sauce. I had a hard time picking what to eat because so many items sounded so good with sides like sauteed spinach with olive oil, garlic, and lemon or roasted butternut squash with sage brown butter. The soup and salads sounded tempting, too. But I settled on Orecchiete with Italian sausage, arugula and broccolini sautéed with garlic and olive oil, sprinkled with parmesan cheese. It was spectacular and under $9 for a very generous serving. I look forward to going back soon, trying some of the other tempting food, and ending with a decadent dessert to celebrate 10 fabulous years with my baby girl. :) read more

We were sadly disappointed by this place. We arrived around 7pm and asked for a table to seat 6 people and a high chair. We were led to a table that had seating for only 5 plus a high chair. We waited for our host to return with another chair for 5-10 minutes before my husband turned around and grabbed one off another table. After waiting nearly 15 minutes with no water or bread at our table, our waiter arrived to take our order. We ordered drinks and dinner. Waiter returned with ordered drinks, but no extra glasses of water or bread. Dinner wasn't impressive at all. In fact it was very bland. We never got drink refills, and had to ask for bread twice before it was brought, right as we were finishing our dinner. I was sadly disappointed, though I figure it might have been an off day. Would try again if someone in our party really wanted to go. But no plans to come here again. read more

I really loved the service, both the drinks and the dishes, and the restaurant itself. We were sat immediately, and our server was attentive and helpful. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta to eat and a winter orange soda to drink. I wouldn't have thought to get such a different drink but the server highly reccomended it. It was wonderfully sweet with a slight tartness from the orange that balanced it out well. The pasta came with wonderfully toasted break and the portion size felt good for the price. There was a good amount of chicken in it as well. I would love to go to more locations and try more dishes! read more

We arrived just before 7:00 on a Wednesday night. No wait and the place was full. The service was extremely prompt. I mean extremely. We were out of there by 7:35 and that included an appetizer. We had the Bruschetta Mamma. It was pretty good and the marinara sauce for dipping was flavorful. Ms. PET ordered the chicken piccata and she liked it. I ordered the chicken marsala and it was just okay. It had plenty of garlic, which I like, but it was a little strange to see tomatoes in this dish. I could barely taste the marsala, however. I also would have preferred to see the mushrooms have some browning to them. Finally, the bread was really soft and we were not offered butter for it. I like it because they don't charge you an arm and a leg for average food, and obviously the service was sharp. To sum up: Gains stars for the bruschetta, for value and great service. Lost stars for two hunks of soft white bread that came with the entree; and also for the unbrowned mushrooms and missing marsala in the entree. Pastini is probably one step above that large mediocre chain that is named after the vegetable you put in your martini. read more

I wish I could give this place a better review, but I simply cannot. The food was mediocre at best. I found it to be very bland and almost at room temp. The portions were small (at least what I would consider small)... I didn't find it to be worth the money I paid for what I was getting. The only part I enjoyed was my drink and the company I was with. Other than that.. it was an upscale Olive Garden for me, and I would much rather go to Olive Garden over this place. Fantastic! I just ordered and devoured Pasta FUSILLI ALLA ROMA as recommended by our server and WOW, was it delicious! I'm not a big eater and there was NOTHING left on the plate. I am no stranger to Pastini Pastoria and I am a fan, oh yes, I am a fan. Bridgeport was slammed last night with a 1 hour wait for two restaurants and the Pastini has a fifteen minute wait which turned into five. The atmosphere was warm, the staff was very kind, and we sat by the kitchen and enjoyed all the action. I had Linguini Misto Mare with a small Caesar salad. The Linguini was excellent. Obviously facility made noodles; it had tender shrimp, great flavored tomatoes, and just the right amount of cheese and garlic. The meal was complemented with a Chianti that was rich and complex that washed the garlic after taste away perfectly. The prices are very reasonable. If you really wanted to have a great entrée date for under $25, you could without stepping down to spaghetti in a can. read more
