Came here on a Sunday while shopping around. Table for one and I was sat quickly. The restaurant is fairly loud for how little was going on, as well as music being fairly loud for no reason. Service was fairly slow, however my server corrected it by apologizing and giving me a free drink (thanks!) I sat next to a total witch of a lady, and the staff remained professional and kind when faced with a customer like her. My own server was a gem and I appreciated her hard work. I ordered the lunch size of the spicy spaghetti, and it came with a salad. I chose a ceaser. Both were great! read more

Pastini is a good looking restaurant in a gorgeous shopping center, I just was a little surprised by the limited menu because I had never been there before and went with family who live in the area. Most of the pasta dishes appear to be in creamy, unsalted and fairly tasteless sauces. My husband chose the lasagna not because that's necessarily what he wanted but because it was about the only thing in a red sauce on the menu. I was looking forward to a simple chop or chicken dish with vegetables but again it's fairly pasta heavy. The dish I had was unbelievably tasteless with almost no spicing at all. It's a great place for families with kids, but I wouldn't return necessarily. read more

This is an American Italian pasta diner vibe, not authentic Italian. There was about a 20 minute wait, not bad, roamed about the shopping area while waiting. I got a lunch special which included Caesar salad and baked Ziti with Italian sausage and garden vegetables for $12. The food was alright, not very tasty but for that price I can't complain. My server was really nice though and kept coming to fill our water. He was very genuine when chatting with us and hearing about our trip. read more

This place is one of our favorite spots for pasta. The dishes are really great, with each plate showcasing fresh ingredients. Some of our favorite dishes are the alfredo and the meatball spaghetti pasta. However, the service can be a bit slow at times. Really do wish the service was faster and more attentive. The restaurant was packed for a swimming event happening. We thought it would be a long wait but the waitstaff were fantastic at triage; even serving drinks to a group waiting to be seated. The food options are many and delicious. Good tunes playing loud enough to have private conversations in an otherwise close-fit restaurant. Service was fast and great. The three of us had either water, cocktails or pinot grigio. Everyone was happpy w their choice, lol. We shared the artichoke bruschetta. From start to finish, a great night out making it a great meal. We started with the Roasted Artichoke-Spinach Spread with Bruschetta, which was the perfect consistency and very tasty. I had the Spinach Salad Balsamico a nice and light salad with hazelnuts, which was a nice change. My husband had the Pappardelle with Meat Sauce Bolognese and he said he'd definitely get it again. My favorite was the Spaghetti con Gamberetti, which would have been more than enough food without all the above. It comes with a chunk of mozzarella underneath the pasta, which doesn't melt. Really like this location at Bridgeport. It's extremely convenient, as I usually meet friends here for lunch before seeing a movie at the nearby Regal cinema. This time we met on a Saturday at noon. There's three of us and we were seated upon entering the restaurant. I like that they're willing to seat you, even when the entire party hasn't arrived yet. With parking at Bridgeport, sometimes it takes extra time to find a spot, especially on the weekends. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. Our server was helpful and attentive. He even brought me a sample of their homemade soup of the day, so I could try it before ordering a bowl. It was a cream of butternut squash...so yummy! Tons of flavor, and quite filling. It came with two pieces of ciabatta bread...they're small pieces, so I asked for more, and wasn't charged extra. My friends ordered the Fusilli Alla Roma and the Pastini Salad Sampler. The pasta dish looked really good and my friend enjoyed it. It came with two pieces of ciabatta bread as well. The salad entree consisted of the Caprese and Bistro salads with a cup of the soup. I love pastini. It's such a classic go to Italian place for me. The wait time was less than an hour on a Saturday night. We got multiple dishes and everyone liked their food. Wine selection is pretty decent, we got the Columbia valley merlot - pretty good wine. We were staying nearby on a visit from Cali and lucked upon Pastini. Chance provided awesome attentive not intrusive service and the staff all seemed to work well together. We were seated next to the kitchen and I mean right next to the kitchen and service area staging in-house and to go orders which was a little weird but we were hungry. The drinks were great and the bruschetta was huge for just two. Entrees were delicious: spring radiatorre pasta and the brown butter Gorgonzola squash ravioli. The sizes are big so skip the appy and you'll still be full! Would def recommend and go there again if we could! read more

I went here for dinner. Located in Bridgeport Village. Plenty of parking. Ambiance was great - nice size booths. Did not have to wait long for a table. Service was great. Friendly and attentive servers. I wish I could say the same for the food. I thought it was average at best and I tried 3 different dishes. -Primavera - lots of vegetables and corkscrew pasta was good, but sauce tasted a bit odd with a bit of an aftertaste. -Mac and cheese - granted maybe not the best choice for an Italian restaurant, but with kids, sometimes you don't have a choice! Very cheesy. Was ok. -Spaghetti and meatballs - this is their signature dish. Pasta was fine, nothing special. Meatballs were soft, not a lot of texture or flavor. Felt pricy for $17+ dishes. Portions are adequate, but not huge. You get some bread on the dish, but no salads, breadsticks. Glass of house wine is about $9. All in all, I was underwhelmed with the quality of the food, especially at this price point. Probably would lean towards Olive Garden or Grassa for a better meal. read more

This was our first time here and it definitely won't be the last. The prices were great for Italian in this area -- way better than LO/West Linn prices. I have to eat dairy free, gluten free, and minced garlic free. Our awesome, friendly, knowledgeable server Savannah went out of her way to show me all of my options. We have frequented Pastini many times in the past - but our recent experience with Pastini in this Covid-19 environment was phenomenal and I wanted to share. I recently got engaged and my soon-to-be aunt-in-law called this location from Central California to order is a surprise dinner and a bottle of wine for pick-up. She knew with some restaurants that transactions like this can be a challenge and some might not accommodate her request to pay over the phone and then have us pick it up. Not only was the staff extremely kind and helpful to her on the phone, our food was absolutely wonderful. This staff really went above and beyond to help my future aunt so something special for us. I love this place! Really good pasta. My favorite is the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. "A simple classic with sautéed garlic, olive oil, fresh basil, chili flakes, parmesan". Also exceptional, the spaghetti with (light and tasty) meatballs. The sauce is perfect. Not too spicy but enough to be tasty. Mondays they have a spaghetti and meatballs special. Great deal. And the Parmesan bread is very good too. I've been to both the Bridgeport & Cedar Hills locations for to go. Oh and the meatball sandwich is simple and so wonderful!! While we found friendly service and good vibes, this italian spot had more misses than hits. When we arrived there was a short 10min wait and the server took down our number to notify us of when our table would be ready. We were seated shortly after and greeted with our welcoming server. She was the sweetest and very attentive throughout the evening. I opted for the Fusilli Alla Roma which comes with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted garlic, parmesan cream sauce which was just basic with no flavor. If you like just butter and cream dumped on some pasta then this is your dish. The chicken was also not that good. It had a strange boiled smell to it and the taste was very bland. The bread that came on the side was just your basic white baguette at room temperature, nothing fancy. My husband got the Five Cheese Lasagna with meat sauce and it tasted like something out of a freezer. Not really fresh with minimal flavor. He said he wouldnt recommend getting it. The portions were well sized but for the quality I rather go to Cheesecake Factory since the flavor is a lot better. Overall, not a place I would go out of my way for to get pasta. They do however offer patio seating in addition to indoor seating and are following all of the Covid guidelines with staff wearing face masks and gloves when serving food. read more

This review is solely for a take-out lunch I recently had from here. I ordered at the host station and my salad was ready in under 10 minutes. I had the Roasted Asparagus Salad, which was quite good and had plenty of perfectly tender grilled asparagus on top of the greens. The lemony vinaigrette it came with was a good pairing and they in included two small cups of the dressing, so there was more than enough. My only disappointment with the salad was is also came with a hardboiled egg that was chopped so small, it kind of disintegrated and got lost in the dressing. So I still got the protein, but didn't really give me the taste or texture of having egg on the salad. Oh well, it was still tasty. The salad also came with 2 small slices of baguette that was very fresh and soft...it didn't come with any butter, but it tasted good without because it was so fresh. read more

Recently discovered this gem and due to the amazing service and quality food I will be coming here more often. Last time I was here I tried a glass of Pastini Rosso and it was so good that this time I had to order the bottle instead. Also tried the baked ziti and it was delicious, good mix of sweet and savory. For dessert I tried the tiramisu and it was just the right temperature, texture, and flavor. The baked ziti with Italian sausage is quite nice, with a fair amount of sauce, though I prefer just a marinara rather than a tomato-cream sauce. The portion size is good for the price. I was having a really good time here, but having someone ask me after I've been outside for 2 hours dining here "are you dining with us?" - when what I had asked is for a restroom, always puts a bad taste in my mouth. That isn't their policy per a private message from the owner. I got the impression this may have been a miscommunication from the owner so I will give this place another shot. Started out going to the one on Broadway for lunch in the early 2000s when I worked downtown. Then when they opened the one in Bridgeport that became my go to place! The food is always delicious, and the service is spot on. Prices are reasonable and I love, LOVE, LOVE their Rigatoni Zicata. Whenever they have it I don't even need to look further at the menu. First of all, our service was exceptional. For our bread that came with the main dishes, I asked for oil and balsamic vinegar on the side. And she immediately brought out a set. In addition, I asked for Parmesan cheese and she went above and beyond by bringing out two little bowls for each of us (forgot to get a picture). Big fan of their garlic bread appetizer. For the main dish, we ate the pappardelle with meat sauce bolognese and spaghetti with spicy sausage. Can never go wrong with the meat in the bolognese. A very good restaurant that has indoor and outdoor seating during COVID. Once seated the service Wa really impeccable and my waiter was wonderfully attentive without hovering. Isaiah was his name and he was wonderful. I had a small bistro salad which had very good lettuce but a bit uninspiring - luckily the Riesling was quite nice. But the butternut squash ravioli with hazelnuts and sage was the bomb! Really quite good. Unexpectedly so!
