We arrived for breakfast just after 9 AM and it was not crowded at all. We were able to sit wherever we wanted. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has an amazing view of the Oceanside beach and pier. The indoor seating is an open air concept with their coffee bar and bakery at the front and a closed kitchen in the back. The weight staff was very professional and courteous. Ours was especially attentive and took the time to tell us what some of the more popular dishes are at breakfast time. The food was delicious. Their coffee was delicious! I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, and they were moist and surprisingly, very citrusy and slightly tart which was balanced with a few dollops of lemon curd that was on the plate. I also ordered a coffee cake, which I did not end up eating however, when I had it as a midnight snack later, it was delicious. It was so buttery, especially on top where the crumble was. It was the perfect blend of sweet and salty. My daughter ordered the Hawaiian style fried rice. We were pleasantly surprised that the spam on the plate is homemade spam and not the kind you get from the can. It definitely tasted a lot better than the kind you get from the can. Sidenote: I am a fan of the one you get on the can, however! The fried rice was fried with kimchi, pineapple, green onion, and toasted sesame oil. The plate came with a thin omelette on top. The portions are good, and if you are not too hungry, you can definitely share them. This place is also dog friendly, which I found to be great since I am the owner of a rat terrier. There were plenty of other customers with their furry friends chilling at their feet. In fact, the restaurant offers a pet menu with options like unsalted hamburger or unsalted and grilled chicken thigh. I am definitely going to go back when I'm in the area. I am excited to try other things on their menu. Enjoy!

We were seated at a perfect table on the patio, Ethan was our awesome server! I had a really hard time choosing what I wanted, so I went with the Clam Chowder and the Vegan Banana Pancake. The Clam Chowder was presented beautifully, but actually was just ok. There was little flavor, it was mostly just a bowl of potatoes and broth. The vegan banana pancake was delicious!! My cousin said her food was just ok as well. We both had hot drinks and loved them. I had a latte and she had 2 of the hot chocolates. We did enjoy the ambiance and the service. I would go back again to try other menu items as they were highly recommended by family members.

The only thing that I can tolerate to eat here is the turkey and provolone but today I regretfully tried a Philly cheese steak called the Big Kahuna with all the fixings. They put so much caramelized onion (and boy is it caramelized to fucking death) that it tastes like there's a sweet teriyaki sauce in it and all of the onions fused to the meat and absolutely overwhelming the sub; tasted like sweet ass completely neutralizing the meat or any other flavor this was a complete waste and I regretted not ordering the turkey. Also I've literally eaten here twice once this past weekend and once 4 years ago they have not addressed their pest issue there are flies inside the counter area buzzing all around having their pick of the litter with the open face topping trays I wish I took a picture of the floors they are absolutely disgusting littered with shredded toppings and layers of bread crumbs and discarded shreds of meat they are so busy they don't have time to clean it but someone should specifically do this. I will never come back again even if it means I have to starve and miss a lunch. I would say you're much better off just getting pizza and taking it down to the pier but this tourist trap city you can never be too sure it could easily taste like Papa John's that's to be determined.

Even on a cloudy morning, sitting outside on the boardwalk with the breeze was so nice. Parking was easy, everything was clean and really cute inside, and you order right at the counter. The adorable girl who helped us was SO sweet and friendly! We weren't sure what to order, so she helped us pick some of their more popular dishes and promised we wouldn't be disappointed. She was right! I got the Stratford Scramble and a mocha latte with oat milk. The scramble was a HUGE portion and delicious. Did it completely wow me? No, but I definitely enjoyed it! The mocha latte was SO good. Nuzz got the Chilaquiles Jalisco and his first ever nitro cold brew. He loved both! The chilaquiles weren't too spicy, and he said the nitro was different from any cold brew he's had before and almost creamy. But the COFFEE CAKE!! When they asked if we wanted toast or coffee cake, we both chose coffee cake and thank goodness we did Soft, sweet, icing drizzled on top and SO good. That is something I would 100% come back for! Beautiful location, friendly service, good breakfast and great coffee. Such a relaxing way to start the morning. We'd definitely come back! And next time, coffee cake again. No question.

That's exactly what my family and I did before heading into the restaurant! The process was easy and convenient. When you walk in, you can grab your own menu, find an open table, and once you decide what you'd like, you place your order and receive a number. The fountain drinks, coffee, and tea are self-serve, which makes everything simple and convenient. Our visit was great! I ordered the chilaquiles, and they were delicious--flavorful but not spicy. My kids ordered chicken and fries, while my daughter got a hamburger, which she really enjoyed. Another thing I liked is that since you pay when you order, once you're finished eating, you can simply leave without having to wait for the check. I also want to give a special thank you to Tiffany, the manager. I accidentally forgot my wallet, and thankfully someone turned it in. Tiffany was extremely helpful and made sure I was able to get it back. I truly appreciate her and the staff at Stratford! Overall, I'm very pleased with the location, the food, and especially the customer service. My family and I will definitely be going back!!

Saw they had burritos, so I ordered their harbor burrito. What I received was a tiny burrito (see picture) with no salsa. When I went back in to ask for salsa, they handed me several Heinz taco sauce packets. Seriously? I'm not asking for fresh made salsa/pico here, but at least some store bought salsa, even Tapatio would suffice. When I bit into my burrito, I felt and heard a loud crunch. The tortilla was overcooked and crunchy. I also had to wait 10 minutes for my burrito to cool down enough to edible levels. The "Italian sausage" advertised was hot dog. Literal hot dog. Ridiculous! I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that their seafood and sandwiches are better, but I'm never eating here again, so I guess I'll never know. +1 star for said benefit of the doubt. *Note: The prices advertised are not current. When I asked the cashier why the burrito was $3 more than advertised, she pointed to a tiny sticky note on the menu that was curved so far it was not immediately readable that stated, "Prices are subject to change." No explanation, just point.

They had ceviche in the cooler, and honestly the 5-star reviews almost convinced me to grab some, but the breakfast burrito was calling my name. Glad I listened that thing was packed with ingredients and seriously good. Absolutely loved the vibe here. Part fish market, part café, with a steady morning rush of coffee drinkers, locals, and regulars coming through the door. The team was professional and friendly from the cashier all the way back to the line cooks. You could tell everyone was working in sync back there. Definitely coming back... and next time I'm finally trying the actual main attraction: the fish.
