    Patriot Towing Southwest Washington
    Sean A.

I was assigned a tow through progressive insurance for roadside assistance. 4 times I was given a false response time: 90 minutes, 60 minutes, 30 minutes, and 17 minutes chronologically. Actual response time was over 4 hours and thirty minutes. I have reason to believe that Patriot Towing LLC is defrauding insurance companies and making false statements to their customers who are in need of aid and may be in dangerous situations.

I don't like that we have to put a star because Patriot Towing deserves 0 stars. On June 27 2023 we called for a tow, and it took three hours for them to come and get our car. We let our mechanic know at auto works that the car was coming to them. mechanic said that no one will be there but go ahead and drop it off cause it's after hours and to put the key in the night box. Then on July 3 2023 we called my auto works, and the mechanic said there was no car there, so then we reached out to Patriot Towing to see where our car was and they said that the car had been in their storage for the last seven days and no one attempted to even reach out to us, It's just been sitting in their storage and no one ever contacted us via phone or anything all through email until day 14 when we called them. So then on day seven they claimed that we owed almost $600 also, they claim they called our insurance company and stated that they couldn't drop it off at an unsecured location and after threatening to call the authorities to show up, they said they would drop all storage fees and they would finally tow it to our house but we would have to pay $120 in CASH only. So then we just reached out to our insurance company and they are willing to get it for us.

Completely scraped and peeled up on the bumper from the town truck

Worst service ever they scraped our m5 bumper coming off the tow truck and won't fix it!! Tire went flat so called road side assistance they called patriot said about 45minute wait 1 hour 30 minutes Later finally showed up. Got to the shop he's unloading our m5 and and tow truck driver Jason scrapes the front right bumper on the the tow truck and messes up the bumper he calls his boss and told them and said they'll Call us in a minute and they'll fix it etc. we wait for 30 minutes no call so we call them and now they are asking for proof that it was their tow truck that did it well it was perfectly fine before and we saw the truck scrape it and the driver Jason admitted it and now they are trying to get out of it. When Jason took photos before it was towed and after and admitted it there's your proof. Can't believe this company is trying to get out of the damage THEY CAUSED!

I was cut off by a patriot towing truck on N Columbia in Portland in the pouring rain today. When I slammed on my breaks and barely avoided hitting him, he proceeded to flip me off through his back window, as though it was my fault that he cut me and another car off. When I pulled up next to him at the light, I tried to take a photo of his truck number and information. He then waved, smiled and tried to intimidate me after he just flipped me off and saw that I was trying to record his information. He was a middle aged white male with a trashy looking handlebar mustache. I would never trust this company to help me out in a car accident when one of their drivers is out being aggressive and about to create one. Seriously scary driving incident and so unprofessional.

The wrong tow truck, in my mirror.

There are departmental store like JC Penny, Macy's, Nordstrom and a huge Dick's store. Few other unique places to me were Din Tai Fung and 85C Bakery Cafe. It's popular destination for tourists' shopping since there's no sales tax. The common spaces are wide, clean and have lots of open sky windows. There are plenty of sitting spots available as well for guests. We were in the mall for about 5 hours. We shopped in the Lego store, Tumi, VS, Dick's, 85C Bakery, and BoxLunch. We had friendly interactions from staff members in the all the stores. We also went to the food court on second floor, which was underwhelming compared to rest of the mall. The dining space had old tiles on the floor, the chair and tables were basic ones. There were 10-12 stores available offering a variety of cuisines. The food was decent from couple of stores we tried. Prices were little bit expensive. Overall we had wonderful half day spent shopping and dining at this mall. There was a good mix of popular and luxurious brands, offering wide range of products. The food court could use some facelift to match with rest of the wonderful interior of the mall.

It has gone through a massive renovation that changed it from just your average "airport", to a bright airy space that is actually a pleasure to go through. It's about 20 to 30 minutes from downtown, there is bus and light rail service to the airport, and it sits right on the Columbia river, which is the state line, giving it easy access from Washington state as well. It is definitely a big airport. If you are renting a car, you do not have to take any type of airport shuttle. There is an underground, climate, controlled tunnel, connecting the rental cars, and the main terminal. It is about a 10 minute walk, but they do have moving sidewalks, and you can also rent luggage carts at a reasonable price. There are also tunnels and pedestrian bridges connecting the short term and long-term parking lots to the main terminal. All the check-in's are in one centralized area. They have people to help you find which aisle your check-in is on. You just walk up to that aisle number, and check-in. Once you've checked in, you go through security, and it's on to your gate. You can walk between all of the Concourses without having to go through security again. Again, it is a big area, but in the concourses, they also have the moving sidewalks and luggage carts available. There is lots of shopping and food/drink outlets, with an emphasis on Portland/Oregon businesses. They even have entertainment inside the terminal. I loved this airport, and I hope I get the chance to fly through here again.

The amenities were clean and all the people from check in to gate were friendly and helpful. Lots of dining options and things to do while waiting. I hope to return to PDX either as a destination or layover and consider it an top tier airport.
