They use predatory tactics to hold vehicles hostage for exorbitant fees. On December 23, 2025, I called AAA for a tow from Dublin Toyota to San Ramon. Loyal Towing showed up. Upon arrival, the driver refused to take my car to my home or a body shop of my choice. Instead, he forced me to let him take it to their storage yard, claiming my insurance would have to handle it from there. This turned out to be a scam to rack up storage fees. Less than 24 hours later, they demanded $1,157 for "storage," plus a 5% credit card surcharge. I ended up paying $1,215 just to get my car back after one day. I had to hire a completely different company to finish the job they refused to do. Check the other reviews--this is a pattern. Save yourself the money and the headache: If their tow trucks show up, refuse to use this company. I will dispute the $1215 charge from this criminal company.

I pulled up to a friend's place for literally a few minutes just to drop off food--went inside and came right back out, and my car was already gone. That's how aggressive and predatory this company is. When I contacted them and explained the situation, there was zero understanding or willingness to work with me. All of my personal belongings were inside my car--my wallet, phone charger, everything--so I was left stranded and had to walk over 2 miles late at night just to get to the tow yard. To make it worse, they charged me over $600 for having my car for less than an hour. That is beyond unreasonable--it's straight-up exploitation. I understand towing enforcement, but this felt like a setup to trap people and squeeze as much money out of them as possible. Horrible business practices, horrible people, and zero customer service. Avoid this company at all costs.
