Stopped inside for some Thai to go - place was smelling good and some relaxing music on. It was empty inside. i'm assuming that they're more of a take out kinda place. Fridge wasn't cold but they still had beverages in it. Ordered the chicken drunken noodles. Came out quick and piping hot - temperature wise and spicy. Delicious. Hit the spot!

I ordered for pickup since they don't deliver, and I don't do Grubhub. I got fried (chicken and shrimp) dumplings, chive cakes, and garlic sauce with shrimp. The dumplings were small and did not have any meat that i could see it taste. weird. not worth $9. The chive cakes were ok I did not like The garlic sauce with shrimp. The shrimp tasted boiled. It seemed like it was just thrown together. Not prepared with any skill at all. The worst part was that the shrimp still had the black crap on its back. So, i had to clean it out. yuck I would not recommend this place

Dined in, small and quiet place. The waitress was super kind. Crab Rangoon and Beef Drunken Noodles, very flavorful. And I had leftover noodles to take home. Also ordered the lemon Thai iced tea which was great as well.

I just have to do another review because this spot continues to rock my world. I don't drink coffee but if I could I would drink this place's Thai iced coffee every single day if I could. It is quite literally one of the best things I have ever had. Every sip was a shot of serotonin, just pure delight. The reason I don't drink coffee is because of the bitterness but this drink was sweet all the way through from the condensed milk and absolute perfection. I had the green curry this time and it had a little hint of spice, nothing overwhelming and was loaded with eggplant, peppers, bamboo shoots, and pea pods. The portion of rice given is perfect for the amount of curry. Excellent. The service was amazing as well. Our waitress was lovely. Food also came out pretty quickly! So they've definitely worked on that from last time. Also on a side note, love the random selection of music playing. Sometimes Japanese anime openings, sometimes Spanish music, sometimes Camila Cabello lol. It's a world tour of music here. I will be back again and again. Can't wait to eat my way through the entire menu!

Amazing, Friendly and welcoming Thai restaurant in the area. My doctor office is in Ridgewood area so after seeing him I was craving for Thai local breakfast (actually it was 12 but it was my first meal, lol) They are willing to make Thai omelet with ground shrimp for me even it wasn't in their menu. I think I will become their repeat customer :) I'm so happy there is a Thai restaurant nearby. Recommend!!!

Pad Thai Chive Pancake

Large pile of flavorless overcooked noodles. Have gotten delivery from here from here a few times and it's been fairly solid. This was my first time getting pad Thai here. Sadly there is little to no sauce and flavor. The noodles are overcooked and very mushy. There's no color or life to the dish. I know with delivery it's never as good as in restaurant but this has to be bottom of the barrel. Giving this place two stars because I've had a solid experience here before, but it does seem like quality is slacking lately.

Fried ice cream

This spot is a gem. The staff is amazing and the food is 10/10. Tom yum soup was spicy and warmed us up

Delicious halal thai food! Tastes amazing and is authentic! The drunken noodles were amazing as well as the massaman curry! must try

The seatings seem to space out with more breathing room a bit from long time ago. More waitstaff and very attentive. Indoor was very cold but the outdoor was hot that day so we chose to sit indoor. Duck noodle was not disappoint. Kuay tiew kaak- curry noodle with rice noodle, chicken, bean sprouts, egg, and peanuts was a good reminiscence. The curry itself was very thick which makes this dish heavy. This was the same as before. Kao soy chicken was a bit different. It used to be bone in thigh, which was the highlight of the dish. Now it is boiled chicken pieces. Something is not the same with the taste either but the dish is still good. Breaded shrimp was very crispy!

Over the years, they've updated the dining room and become a bit more polished to keep up with the wave of trendy, upscale restaurants that have opened around them. Thankfully, the food hasn't changed. The flavors remain solid, traditional, and deeply satisfying. While many places have leaned into fusion or toned things down for broader appeal, this restaurant has stayed true to its roots. Whenever I'm feeling nostalgic for the flavors I remember from the back alleys of Bangkok, this is where I come. It's still one of the closest experiences I've found outside of Thailand.

They definitely didn't tell me that lunch specials were available before I ordered my soup. Other than that, everyone is pleasant. Space: they have two sides, so plenty of space, but nights and weekends can get pretty packed, so keep that in mind. Food: I ordered Tom Yum soup and a lunch drunken noodle with a Thai iced tea. I only had the soup there and took the entire lunch special to go. Just based off of the soup, I will be going back. It was delicious and PACKED to the MAX! Writing this now, I can still imagine. Drunken Noodles were also really tasty. I like mine spicy and it could have been made spicier, but that's not even a real complaint. Also- the one next to me had this dish which reminded me of pad see ew but in a gravy. Looked delicious!! I will be back for whatever she had. Overall: the entire block is like a little Thai street. There are lots of Thai food options and I finally made it to Ayada. Super happy with my meal and excited to go back with some people and enjoy.

There were a few tables seated but it was a bit dead ( then again, it was around 4:30 so it was between lunchtime and dinner). The price felt decent and comparable to elsewhere. The pad kee mao was okay as I never had it before but I do feel like it was a bit too heavy on the dark soy and molasses sweetness. It wasn't overbearingly strong but it was a bit more than I would've liked. The BBQ pork was pretty good. It had a good amount of fat and was nice and tender. It also had that BBQ char making it very enjoyable

We had the papaya and crispy duck salad (pictured) and vegetable curry puffs, which were delicious. The lime dressing is so yummy I also had the green curry, which was ok (I haven't found any other restaurant so far that has green curry as good as the former I Am Thai chef so this is a very personal thing and not something bad about the restaurant. Just different) The table next to us had the bronzino which they said was delicious and spicy. There were a few Irish patrons in another table and one of them said the food was too spicy. His friends enjoyed their food. This is Thai spicy. If it's your first time, I always recommend going mild first. You can always up it next time you come.

Their menu is quite extensive, so it took me a bit to decide what to order. I ended up going with the drunken noodles with beef and the roti as an appetizer. Both were flavorful, filling, and hit the spot. Service was attentive and friendly, and overall, it felt like a typical but solid Thai dining experience.

The kitchen here doesn't shy away from traditional flavors--the food is unapologetically spicy and savory, avoiding the "overly sweet" profile that many Thai spots fall into. Here's the breakdown of what we tried: Tom Yum Goong: This was the star of the show. It had a sharp, clean heat and a perfect citrus punch without that syrupy finish you often find elsewhere. Crispy Pork Belly: Exactly what you want it to be. The skin was incredibly crunchy, and the meat remained tender, seasoned perfectly to highlight the savory pork flavor. Fried Fish: Deep-fried to perfection with a light, crispy exterior. The sauce paired chili and fish sauce with fresh mango. Crab Fried Rice: Generous with the crab meat and wonderfully "wok-hei" (charred) and salty. It wasn't bogged down by sweet soy sauce, allowing the delicate crab to shine. The only real sweetness of the night came from the Mango Sticky Rice, which was the perfect, cooling end to a very spicy meal. The mango was ripe and the coconut milk was rich, providing the only sugary reprieve of the evening. Service was so nice. The hostess and sever were so nice and friendly. The severer felt like a Thai uncle, he made jokes, gave us napkins, joked with my child. It felt so familial. If you want authentic, spicy Thai food that prioritizes salt, spice, and acid over sweetness, this is your spot.

Kam Rai Thai has a very cozy and warm atmosphere with fake flowers decor everywhere. Street parking can be hard at times and involve circling around a few times. Food menu can be accessed by QR code and paper menu for drinks. The first time I visited Kam Rai Thai, I shared the papaya salad with my friend and had the Pad woon sen with shrimp. The papaya salad with green papaya, string bean, tomato and roasted peanut with spicy lime juice was refreshing and light. The Pad woon sen has sauteed glass noodle, egg, onion, scallion, cabbage, celery, carrot, tomato and sesame oil. The second time I visited, I had the Pad see ew with beef. The Pad see ew has sauteed wide noodles with Chinese broccoli, black soy sauce, and egg. Both dishes were very flavorful, delicious, delectable, and appetizing. The dishes were very filling and there was a good proportion of noodles and protein. I've had the Rainfall in Loei and Fang Martini Time, both are really good drinks and not overly strong. We shared the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was good. The mango was very fresh and the sticky rice with coconut milk was sweet, but not overly. My friends ordered the Kopi De Trang, Spicy Maesai Plum, Rainfall in Loei, Thai ice tea lychee, pad see ew with chicken, pad kee mao beef (non spicy), and khao soi gai confit. I ordered a pad kee mao beef with a spice level of 2 to go. It is a great option to have a spicy and non spicy option for pad kee mao. Everyone enjoyed their food. Staff are very friendly and the food come out very quickly after ordering. There is a 5% discount if you pay with cash and a 2.95% surcharge for credit cards. Kam Rai Thai serves authentic Thai food and I can't wait to come back. It is a great place for friends to catch up.
