    5 Star BBQ Chicken
    Grace W.

Good home style Thai cuisine and friendly staffs. We frequented Thailand's Center Point before they closed, and are now happy that they finally reopen in a new location and re-name Khing. Causal family run and served up some solid Thai dishes! We are always big fan on their Signature Crispy Papaya Salad, so good. I enjoyed my delicious duck dish and hubby's 5 Star BBQ Chicken was tender and tasty.

The best Thai restaurant in NYC . The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. Chef Annie is a delight and a culinary genius. The green curry, tofu popcorn, fish cakes, crispy rolls, crispy papaya, pad garlic pepper, and drunken noodles are all top notch. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the convenient location makes it the perfect restaurant for a celebratory lunch or dinner with friends or family. This is my family's new fave spot for Friday night!!!

Service was great and efficient. Shortly after we sat down, we were greeted by our server and received water. One member in my party has a gluten sensitivity, and when we mentioned this, our server brought out a gluten-free menu! It has a great selection and my friend was overjoyed with the options. The food was delicious and a bit spicy, even at the mild option. If I was there for lunch, I would have ordered a Thai ice tea (the drink had too much caffeine for me the evening ). The food was delicious, and is something that we'd all order again. My favorite part of the evening was the tv playing a Thai cooking show. There were no captions or subtitles so I kept asking the server what veggies were on screen, and they too didn't know because there was no caption. A fantastic restaurant worth hitting up if you're in the area.

It had a lot of crunch to it so was fun to eat although not my style of salad. The curry sauce was great. I wish the duck came with more meat; it was a lean cut. We were too full to order more but there's plenty of other things I would've wanted to try. Also their cocktail menu looked stellar - very unique and fun glasses + flavors. We waited ~45 min on a weekend with no reservation at around 2-3pm as an fyi!

We went on a Saturday for lunch to the Rego park location on Woodhaven blvd driving at least an hour as we live in Suffolk county NY. We had the Phuket appetizer spread & the fiery wings. The drinks were amazing also the mango/tango, lychee paradise & rose fizz were great with the smoke presentati The service was great, the food was amazing & all of the mocktails were impressive & tasted amazing. I'll definitely be back. I would rate each item as follows: Food--8/10 as everything we tried was tasty including appetizers. Ambience--7/10 the space was small & could use some updating but overall the staff & atmosphere was relaxing. There was only one restroom & you had to wait to use it. We were a party of 6. Service--10/10 the staff was very professional, always smiling & very accommodating.

We ordered the spring roll, chicken lollipop, pad Thai , fried rice and the rib eye steak. My family only enjoyed the appetizers. The rib eye steak was so chewy they could not eat it. They did not like any of the main entrees. When we finished eating , we were rushed out because there were people waiting outside. The restaurant wasn't even packed, where was only one huge party next to us and there were plenty of seats. Really unnecessary to ask us to leave. We took longer because I had a baby and we all took turns using the one bathroom they had. That was a huge turn off, this was the first time in my life that we were told to leave a restaurant that was not even at capacity. They couldn't even wait a few more minutes. It wasn't like we were sitting there like it was a cafe and we are just chitchatting. Overall it did not feel welcoming in there. The other staff did not seem friendly either.

The Restaurant Week menu wasn't particularly exciting, so we both ordered from the regular menu. I had the steamed sea bass with white rice, while my friend had the duck with white rice. Both were good. We also tried the appetizer platter. I really enjoyed the chive rice cakes, the crispy texture added another layer. The crab rolls were fine, but the Cho Muang's texture was a bit off to me. The drinks were also really good. I tried the lychee floral spritz and loved it! Unfortunately, the service is what kept this from being a five-star experience. My food came out first, but my friend's didn't arrive until about 15-20 minutes later. We also saw our server when she took our order and never saw her again. We wanted another drink but didn't have anyone to ask, so we had to rely on the hostess. I enjoyed the food and drinks, but good customer service is just as important to me. I wouldn't say I wouldn't return because I'd be willing to give it another shot, but I'd hope the service would be better next time.

They definitely didn't tell me that lunch specials were available before I ordered my soup. Other than that, everyone is pleasant. Space: they have two sides, so plenty of space, but nights and weekends can get pretty packed, so keep that in mind. Food: I ordered Tom Yum soup and a lunch drunken noodle with a Thai iced tea. I only had the soup there and took the entire lunch special to go. Just based off of the soup, I will be going back. It was delicious and PACKED to the MAX! Writing this now, I can still imagine. Drunken Noodles were also really tasty. I like mine spicy and it could have been made spicier, but that's not even a real complaint. Also- the one next to me had this dish which reminded me of pad see ew but in a gravy. Looked delicious!! I will be back for whatever she had. Overall: the entire block is like a little Thai street. There are lots of Thai food options and I finally made it to Ayada. Super happy with my meal and excited to go back with some people and enjoy.
