"Hidden in the rough" is EXACTLY how I would term this place. At first glance you would miss it, located in a strip call surrounding the Carrs parking lot. You'd also think it would be a fast food Mexican place with the drive through window (not in use at this time), and loud, colorful exterior. The Restrant took over this space after a Mexican Restrant, makes sense. This place guys is a MUST STOP! Traveling through? STOP! Going home from work? STOP! Guys JUST STOP! They WILL NOT disappoint! We were in town for some BFF wedding shenanigans. To culminate the end of my WHOLE 30 - The fiancé and I both got Pho Oxtail soup. Our fav! So good guys - it comes with all the fixings, hoisin, sriracha, Thai basil, bean sprouts, slices of japs and a squeezable size of lime. The broth to noodle to protein ratio - perf! The picture I posted was with all the fixings and an added dollop of chili oil. I like my ish SPICY! I also ordered spring rolls which were picture perfect && delish paired with their sweet chili sauce topped with peanuts. I also ordered spicy papaya salad, 4 pepper out of 5 spice, wasn't quite as spicy as I like it, but the flavor was on point! My fellow bridesmaids and bride (not in picture) ordered drunken noodles with chicken and chicken panang curry. The drunk noodles were homemade, sauce ama-za-zing && huge potion! The panang curry - guys I've been to Thailand and am an avid curry lover && when I say this is one of the best currys I've ever had - take my word for it! ---- love this place guys just STOP! It will not disappoint!

We got takeout from here and it was so good! I called ahead and they said it was a 30 minute wait and it took about 45 but it's a small business so I didn't mind waiting a few more minutes. My favorite items were the pad thai and the gyoza. I loved the rainbow roll and the spicy tuna roll was THE SPICIEST TUNA ROLL that any of us have ever had. So good but have a drink ready to calm the heat in your mouth! We didn't love the sweet and sour and it looked different on the menu inside than what we were given. I thought it was going to be fried but it was chicken and an assortment of vegetables in a liquid sauce. It also came with a side of white rice. That is the only item that I personally wouldn't order again but it's definitely one of my now favorite restaurants in the Valley!

Giving five stars for the food. It is incredible! Decor is very colorful and inviting, and straight outta the 80's. Service is a little slow, but it is worth it! My personal favorite is Tofu Vegetable Panang Curry with a Thai Iced Tea.

As good of Thai food as I've ever had. The place was clean and had a very relaxed, comfortable feel. Staff was friendly too!

But I was out and about today and saw this place and Pad Thai sounded good so I decided to take the risk. The place is nice inside and the girl at the counter who took my to go order was super sweet, so this is not a service issue. It's the food. It's just...meh. Marginal is even a reach. I ordered the fresh spring rolls, pad Thai with shrimp and extra veggies, and panang curry with shrimp, all to go. Total cost $83 + tip. Ratings as follows: Fresh Spring rolls-3/10 Veggies are sad and not very fresh. At least they put a little bit of cilantro in there but these did not taste like the fresh spring rolls you would get anywhere in the lower 48. Also: that nasty sweet chili sauce that most places here seem to serve with their springs rolls is just...not it. Shrimp Pad Thai with extra veggies-3/10 No egg. No green onion. They gave me 'extra veggies' but the veggies they gave don't belong in Pad Thai. I got broccoli, cabbage, and carrots....lol. As for the flavor.....VERY bland and you almost can't tell it's Pad Thai at all. Panang Curry with Shrimp-3/10 Okay so this was the saddest dish of all, because the flavor was 'okay,' but that was it. Literally ALL you get in the panang curry broth is whatever meat you asked for, thus mine had shrimp. NO VEGGIES. NO HERBS. NOTHING else. THAT was pretty sad. I've never seen Panang curry served with literally nothing but the broth and meat. I shouldn't be surprised tho as this is Alaska, and the Valley at that, and nobody here gives a flying F about fresh veggies. Sad state of affairs. I won't go back.

Wishing the ramen had some more kick and was a little more authentic. Overall, it's ok nothing special. The service was friendly and welcoming for a place to meet up.

The food is consistently a 9/10--perfect vegetable tempura, incredible house-made ginger dressing, and generous bento boxes that come with miso soup and salad (and still leave you with leftovers). Favorites: teriyaki chicken, beef & broccoli, and the tempura shrimp--highly recommend. I was really disappointed to recently see a "For Sale" sign. This place is a gem, and it would be a loss to see the quality change. Service is polite but a bit disengaged, and the atmosphere is simple and sometimes noisy--but honestly, you come here for the food. If you're a foodie, go while you can. This place is absolutely worth it. It's a hidden gem!
