When we arrived the place had pleasingly easy seating outside where half the group could enjoy the shade and the other half could bask in the sunshine--something for everyone. We began to peruse the menu for some drinks and appetizers as we waited for another friend to join us. We grabbed a few beers and a sweet strawberry drink and a delicious vodka martini. Our sever even offered some beer samples since we couldn't decide. That was cool. Shortly after our drinks came out the yummy wings arrived alongside of two different types of French fries. I'm here for it! Next, we ordered a coupe of the Neapolitan pizzas. I got the arugula and prosciutto and my friend grabbed the margarita. Both were phenomenal! Nice thin crust, packed with fresh toppings and served piping hot. What's not to love? The outdoor patio was an awesome seating choice--it was big, bright with tons of tables and super clean. Was really excited to get to pick up Patxi's on way to Sacramento. Over a decade ago, my now wife and I had our first date at the Location in Santa Clara. Anyway, picked up a deep dish meat classic from this location and it looked and smelled great until we dug in. The ground sausage just didn't taste right and looked a little too light brown. This tracks because it said it would take 50 mins to cook and our drive was 35 mins. The pizza was done and boxed by the time we got there. I vividly remember these deep dish pizzas taking a long time to cook. We were very disappointed with the lukewarm pizza and felt bad leaving some slices at my brother's house before we continued our drive to Sacramento. Tried to call the restaurant just to give them the benefit of doubt but didn't get an answer. I will not be going back to this location. read more

At arrival, there were a few tables occupied with a majority of people having to-go orders. I personally love Paxtis because of the many vegan options, but truthfully everything here is delicious. The drinks make this place hard to turn down. My friends and I stopped by around 5:30 p.m. on a Friday evening to grab dinner before a movie nearby. The restaurant was pretty empty inside so we were able to get seated right away. Since there was only one server in the whole restaurant, it wasn't until close to 6:00 p.m. that we were able to get our order taken. If you're trying to take advantage of the $5 Happy Hour beers that end at 6:00 p.m., I would definitely recommend arriving earlier than I did. Between our party of six, we got two pizzas: we got a medium sized "Favorite" deep dish and a small sized "Chicago Ultimate" pan style. With our additional order of a salad, chicken wings, and a burrata bruschetta, this ended being just the right amount of food; we only ended up boxing up two slices to go. If you need help figuring out how much pizza to order for your group size, definitely feel free to ask waiter because their recommendation is pretty spot-on. The pizzas themselves are well-made: the cornmeal crust is crunchy, the cheese-pull goes on for days, and there's a generous amount of toppings drowning in all the tomato sauce. The sauce is well-balanced and is neither too salty nor too oily and has a good consistency to it with large chunks of tomatoes. I don't like to give a bad review, but after being here twice. A year apart from each and the service was the same, I have to leave this negative review. Last year we brought our soccer team here after a game. Paxti's is across the street from the Hyatt in Dublin, CA was convenient for our party size. When we arrived they made room for us (40 people) on the patio. It took several hours to prepare all of the pizza pies for our party. They apologized, but a lot of our party left without actually eating more than a slice of pizza. It was disappointing when you have so many athletes that were very hungry after a day of soccer games. They told us it would have been easier if we called ahead and put the order in, prior to our arrival. We gave the benefit of the doubt, because we showed up without calling ahead. This year, we called ahead at 4:45pm and put in an order for 20 pizzas for 7pm with a party of 40+. When we at 7pm, none of the pizza had been prepared. There was no seating reserved for our party and we had to wait nearly an 20 minutes for the pizzas to slowly begin come out. After 2 hours, there were only half of the pizzas out and many frustrated families and soccer players. 6 more pizzas came out over the next hour. The manager came out and said that we should be all good now. We explained we were still missing 4 pizzas. It was completely disorganized. Instead of the manager taking personal responsibility and deducting a portion of the bill, he blamed a 16 year staff member. The bill for all the pizzas was $793! All he offered was a free beverage for our troubles. We paid the bill and that will be the last time we ever eat there. read more

I have driven by Patxi's Pizza so many times so I decided to stop in one day and give it a try. I stopped in during happy hour and the place was surprisingly empty. There is a lot of seating (indoor and outdoor). The pizzas are huge! They have a sweet tomato base sauce that I find delicious but can be too sweet for some. The honey on the pizza I enjoy but it's not necessary. The cheese pull is soooo good! The garlic bread is delicious. It does have a lot of garlic but it's not overpowering. I was satisfied with the mixed green salad. The sangria was tasty and the michelada was way better than expected. The food was great, it is a little on the pricier side- ordered 2 personal pizzas, 2 drinks and a salad to share. 3 stars due to the service, our waiter did not check in on us. For being so empty and the cost, I expected better service. However the tandoori has not much curry flavor, and the Chicago had way too much olives that were sour and salty, dominated the taste. Wasn't happy with it, called them, they were willing to remake it. I appreciated that. But, the second time, the tandoori chicken had loads of garlic in it. Their consistency is just not there. Had a great time here tonight! The deep-dish pizza was just really tasty! They have a really flakey flour crust. Not the cornmeal, really liked this one. We got one half with my favorite, cheese and sausage. Yum! The other half was weird but tasty with BBQ special that had BBQ chicken, cilantro and jalapeños! Salads were fresh and tasty. Wow this place is just great. There is outdoor and indoor seating with multiple TVs so it can be considered a Sports bar as well. It's super cute and we decided to sit outdoors since it was a nice day out. I ordered the thin crust margherita, my absolute favorite pizza, with their house dry rub wings (THE BEST) & the yummy side of Ranch. Our server, Nina was super accommodating and attentive to our needs even though she was busy handling multiple tables and bar service. She makes a mean mojito!! They were so crisp and refreshing I needed to order 2. There is a check in offer, a free stromboli dessert and we went with strawberry. Bomb! Anyways I love this place and the service is tremendous. I've been to a few different Patxi's locations, a review is overdue! Most recent visit was on new years day, mainly because it was one of the only places I could find open, which was appreciated!! I've been to the Dublin location a few times. I'm very torn between a 3.5 or 4 star experience. Pizza is always 5 stars for sure, haven't had a bad experience there. That bbq deep dish, is perfectly sweet, tangy and spicy. This last visit was an excessive wait for the deep dish, I understand a 30ish minute wait but I want to say it was closer to an hour. Refills, clearing up plates, getting receipts, etc was also slower than usual.They weren't very busy but maybe short staffed, I can understand that. As for appetizers, I enjoy the sweet & spicy wings but on more than one occasion, they've been lacking on the sauce and lukewarm when they first come out. Ceasar salad could've used more dressing as well, could be possible that I just like excessive dressing on my salad. lol A must try app is the spinach and artichoke dip, a nice crispy cheese crust and creamy dip, with toasty bread. I know it sounds basic but trust me! I love their patio area, I wish it was a little more up-kept because I want to take my doggo when I go. Favorite pizza spot!!! My friends and I always go to the one downtown Livermore, never been to the one in Dublin but still bomb a** pizza! I've been telling my bf this spot is the place to go if you are craving A1 pizza!! We ordered over the phone and tried the Special deep dish pizza. It comes with sausage, mushroom and bell peppers on the special. The crust is pretty well made. It's thick got good bite to the crust. The tomato sauce on top is quite tasty too. It's a bit more runny than i had expected but it must just be their recipe. The tomato sauce has good flavor and right balance of salty and acidity. The cheese is also tasty. It's got good flavor and texture. Overall pizza is quite decent. I would definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a good deep dish. read more
